Gazzu.zz just to clarify from you. What is the difference with your mobil 1 import from the Nigeria made. ... I was told that mobil is mobil... but am very much aware that the import ones are better standard than locally made ones.
Just like people prefer the America spec Toyota cars than the Canada spec.. It's all about standard
you wan learn market?

I used the follow come tire for 8months (205/65R15), then bought double king and used for 2 and half years (you actually saw the double king (215/70R15) then I was adviced to use direct tires (195R15C LT) I have been running them for less than a year now.
You will enjoy the LT

I won't touch a used shock, even for free. My last experience was installing a pair in Lagos, and having both go flat on getting to the East next day!
nah fcukaniser work be dat grin

I see it all the time, but there are some of my people who do not compromise, they call me when the engine is still attached to subframe, just before dismantling.

Kendra01:
Hello,

I am looking into sending containers of auto parts to Nigeria from Canada. I would be sending the parts in a container and would just be a wholesaler distributor, handing the entire container of to a retailer or group of retailers who would putchase the entire container.
I need some contacts in the Autopart industry in Nigeria and also more background information as to what parts are in high demand and how much profit can be made from this type of distribution.
I am not interested in setting up a shop or warehouse. This is a Cash and carry type deal, the parts in the container would be the requirements gotten from these retailers.
ANY USEFUL INFORMATION ON AUTOPART IS APPRECIATED!!!!
Nigerians need good engine oil.

AutoElectNG:
Which do you use and why?

Would you consider Nigerian highways as an on road or off-road environment?

Have you suffered tire failures and taken the time to do a post event analysis?

I did and here is what I found.

It may be time to purchase tires based on application and not necessarily what us stamped on the driver's door.

All those commercial driver's running LT tires on a sienna and 235/65/16LT instead of 215/65/16 may be onto something.

Your thoughts on this?

Maybe we could reduce the carnage on our roads due to failed tires.
Spot on!

On the uber fleet we run, we are currently switching all tyres to truck as soon as the old ones fail.

The beauty of the LT, they can suffer abuse by vulcanisers, by taking air pressures up to 60psi without damaging the tyre, also when they hit pot holes at high speeds, tyre stays in tact.

Truck tyres are the way forward on Nigerian roads.

Hmmm interesting... The drivers should have a union.
too disorganised to have 1.

If they did, they could pressure the E-hailing companies for better deals.

he has to buy tyre through management/ after managements approval.

Hello everyone,

Since there's no "Generator Talk" angry I'm posting this here. I believe I will get the best value here.

My generator Kazeems are dealing with my gen (currently Sumec) and I don't really have the bandwidth to fully take on gen DIY repairs.
You know how it sounds "oga once I change dis thing your gen no go be the same again" yet...problems persist....
Generators is where my journey began.
Meanwhile, what part is giving issues? The electrical or mechanical part?

Can a car of 800k-1m be used on Uber/taxify platform.

I plan on getting a loan from the bank.
What's the minimum specs for cars/drivers or car owners that want to come onboard the paltform.

Thank You
Please do not, use only spare money,
it is profitable, only when there is little or no downtime due to machine or human breakdown. With ur present budget, there will be more machine downtime.

Good day Mr. Gazzuzz
I want to confirm if what happened to my car was normal?
I drove my car to jos from ibadan last week. The temperature has never gone above 90 degrees for over two years period since i bought the car (Thermostat is intact). After about 4 hours of using AC, i observed that the temperature rose slightly above 90 degrees. I was scared of the temperature rising to 100 degrees and maybe eventually overheating. whenever i put off the AC, it goes back to 90 degrees. Is this normal for the temperature to go above 90 degrees over prolonged use of AC?
Apart from this observation, car works perfectly.
Drive to a car wash, have them backwash your condenser and radiator, you are not getting enough air flow through radiator fins.

Lastly, if you have been on water for 2years instead of coolant, replace radiator and install coolant.
