seems ur compressor is frozen stiff or tthe pressure relief valve on the compressor is doing its job due to a blockage

Thanks oga. Please what could cause lack of torque from engine? Could it be that the compressor has failed according to the the Ac tech?? Tried the Ac this morning, it picked for a few seconds and there was a kind of hissing noice from the engine or compressor. Then the Ac knob light started blinking again bringing down the rpm that forced me to switch the Ac off.

Hello Mr gazzuzz, in respect to my previous post concerning a nissan primera which I was advised to change the compressor and the reciever drier, the technician finally changed those components, and the AC system became fully functional, however I noticed the ac hose freezes up upon use, I mean the pipes turn to ice block, is it a normal thing?

I have a toyota camry. The A/C has been good until recently. Once I put on the A/C through the knob, the A/C button comes on with a green light and starts working, but sooner, the green light starts blinking and the compressor cuts off. I have been advised to run the wire to the Knob or change the A/C button totally. Please advise. Many thanks.

Blinking is an error signal, it could mean low compression from the compressor, lack of torque from engine, faulty pressure switch...... and so on. do not connect any funny wires, take vehicle to a technician that can explain what the blink is.
Experienced the same problem yesterday. Ac tech said my compressor has failed. Is he right??

simple logic.. u have 2 they have 2, when u teach them ur 2.. they gain 2 extra. 2+2 =4. while u are still with ur 2, thus 4 is better than 2, if u are teaching ur classmates do not tell them everything.. being an undergrad means u discover stuffs for urself.

Dear Nairalanders, I drive a Honda Accord (EOD) 2003 Model auto-transmission. There is this somewhat frustrating and embarrassing issue that I have experienced for a long time. When driving slowly on a rough road, especially when the AC is on, the gear disengages. The gear stick is still on drive but you can feel that the gear has disengaged. Pressing the throttle only revs the engine without moving the car. I have to shift to park, turn of the engine, restart, and shift back to drive, and it continues driving normally. I may not experience the problem for an extended period, and at other times I may experience it a number of times during a particular drive. I seriously need your enlightenment about this issue as most of the mechanics that I have spoken to don’t seem to know what is wrong. Thanks.

I'll be embarking on a road trip soonest to those locations as stated on the subject.

I'm not sure of the best route from bauchi to wukari. This is where the problem is. A friend said getting to wukari would only be through Jalingo which is an 8hrs drive. I'm seriously in need of suggestions.

Hi. Gazzuzz, I took my niss primera P11-144 to an ac technician recently who diagnozed that my ac compressor is running on low pump, hence the compressor and drier has to be replaced. He told me the compressor that came with the vehicle is automatic and advised I changed to manual type which he said lasts longer and is much colder. Please I wanna ask how true this claim is and is there anything like manual compressor...

Hi Gazzuzz. My mechanic advised me to use a new Peugeot a/c compressor to replace my bad a/c compressor (highlander 2001). His reason is that the its more reliable than the highlander's compressor in the market. Pls what's your take. Thanks for your prompt response.
