hey guys... am using toyota sienna xle 2002
when d car was bought d ac was working properly..and it came with d automatic ac..after about a month later wen i turn ON my ac it would work for some minutes and later it would start bring out normal air, and d ac indicator would be blinking.. i told my mechanic he said i should remove d thermostat and make d fan run always.. after doing dat d ac started working properly..
but i noticed within three months my gas for d ac has finished.. i filled it up again.. and with 4 months to five months. it was empty... plz advice me. wat is d problem... how can i fix dis... am in delta state warri...

Hello Mr. Gazzuzz and the rest of the house, I need a good AC technician around to help me check out the AC on my Nissan pathfinder 05. I have two issues with my AC;
1. when the AC is on I still perceive odours from outside even the vent is closed and air is recycled.
2. the AC cools best only in the mornings, later in the day it doesn't cool as much(front vents) BUT the rear vents cool just fine regardless of the time of day.
I know you don't fix nissan, but please assist in any way you can. Thank you.

Ensure it was fair, and not harsh

P1346- VVTI fault error. Check the variable valve timing solenoid. It located close to the firewall. The solenoid might be bad. Connection might be loosed. Was there any engine timing related job done prior this problem. You could also have sludge mounted all over the solenoid

Hello all. Sorry for the long delay. Was out of town. So I changed the gear oil with type t iv and also installed a new filter. The problem still persists. Gear does not move when engine is cold but reverse moves whether hot or cold. Scanned car again and no DTC codes pointing to transmission. Only have p1135 and p1346 and I've been trying to fix these codes all to no avail. Pls Gazzuzz nd all kindly assist me cos I'm confused. Nb wen gear moves it moves very fine. Even did 140 with it on Friday on my way to warri. I need answers. Thanks all

Since the ATF is still good according to him, there wont be any need to replace it. I have never seen clogged filter delay engagement cold, but stuff happen.
My take is sticking valve(s).
@mike070, you may check the filter, but leave the ATF. Times are hard! How does it engage in L1?

That's well known on a drive by wire system. Best way to clean is take it off the intake plenum or better have someone press the pedal for you while you do the cleaning.

Let him check the idle air control valve . Let him check the throttle body. If dirty clean it up. That can cause this problem as well. Just treated this same issue on a pathfinder
