All I do is send your info to a friend who works there how checks it out and I post info here.
I am not here to analyze the info, all I'm doing is letting you know if that piece of paper in your vehicle that has duty written on it has actually been paid for or not.
Behind the scenes countless number of car dealers send their info and I check it out for them.
If the vehicle chassis does not match, it is not your vehicle duty.
If you require further analysis after this please contact saintjoel, he seems to be the expert.
Countless number of you buy vehicles with fake duty every day, this thread will save you from such deals.
BestySam: I have changed the the fans and blades. Because of that AC of a thing i spent over 30k without result. I'll be using it like that untill I have enough money to spare. The problem i noticed now is that the fuel economy is poor. I the fuel tend to vanish whenever i park and put off the engine.
saintjoel: Oga gazzuz, I'm not trying to poke my nose into your business but there are things that you allow trained and licensed agents like us do instead of going into a business venture that you don't know about. I've a thread on nairaland too for years and maybe you think that there's money to be made from it, that's why you suddenly pop up with this thread.
Duty check doesn't end with "this is the amount paid, this is the chassis number" , so that means it's genuine. How do you identify jobs with outside exit, when the amount paid to bank and the chassis number is in the database but the papers weren't properly processed through through the offices like ciu, asycuda etc and there are alerts on it. How do you identify a payment that was underpaid and how do you boost the payment, how do you raise a DN and how do you process it, how do you get papers not included in the documents like valuation papers, inspection act etc, how do you even know a false declaration was made, the last six digits of the chassis doesn't allow you differentiate between a 2007 camry declared as 2001,it's only the payment that will let you know.
This isn't written out of bad blood but it's an advice that there are certain things that you'll rather leave to experts, not because of money to be made cos trust, there are days you'll run checks with your own cash cos people will pay millions for duty processing and purchase / shipping but will still question you when a toke is asked so that you can help them run checks. A day will come that you'll remember the advice I've given you, when an importer will fight with custom officers because he/she believes the papers are genuine but doesn't know how to defend the payment made... If you decide to continue with this venture, I'll suggest that you also make use of the tips that I've given you. The same way that I can't teach you your job in the workshop is the same way you can't also take up another person's job.
okesuku: I want to change the engine of my Toyota Highlander 2002, four cylinder engine .. Pls can anyone give me a concrete advice of where I can get a complete good working condition engine and the cost..Thanks alot for your responses..
MarkAfoo: I bought and installed a new engine in my 2006 RAV4 sometimes last June when I had a problem with the old engine and I later discovered that the engine oil always found its way to the bottom of coil 'A' (the first coil from the left if you are standing at the front of the bonnet). I noticed this when my Mechanic did a servicing of the car last month and I tried to gauge the engine oil two weeks after. I went back to him to complain and he opened the engine cover and tried to clean the old gum and put new one around the cover and told me that it will not happen again, I now bought a one litre engine oil to top up the oil and I started checking to discovered that the same thing happened after four days. So I took the car to another workshop and I was told that they will have to buy another engine cover 'rubber' and sealant. I stood with this man and I believed he did a thorough cleaning of the engine cover and fixing of the rubber and the sealant and we also allowed the gum to cure for four hours but the same thing happened after four days. Please I need your help on how the problem could be fixed.

san316: hello. Please my Honda baby boy is having some issues n I hope u can give me an advise on the possible cause.
Just recently, whenever I hit a pot hole or on a rough road, I usually hear a crackling sound and the car swerves to another direction. As in, unbalances. I hv done the alignment and wheel balancing but the problem still persists. Note that the steering is leaky too. But even though I fill the oil, it still makes the noise and swerves GAZZUZZ
adepelummy: Please sir, do a used car bought also need custom paper.
do a used car appear from heaven?
If the used car was bought brand new from a dealership it will come with a Dated and stamped cover note.
If it was imported by an individual, it must have come thru land or sea borders. In rare cases it could have come in by air. It must have gone thru customs, and a certificate issued before vehicle is released.
steveyen: I am still trying to look into this. Though the opinion is that cause the car has been packed 4 long. That I was suppose to drain the engine oil which must have changed formation prior to driving the car around.
You gave the poor boi heart attack, yesterday I knew the car was fine , when I saw his comments on other threads happy you car is running. Next time give your technician more time.
Technicians invest in courtesy vehicles, it will prevent threads like this.
tee2faith: @ gazzuzz luvinhubby and all, I scanned my High milage Honda Accord 2003 and I got the following codes: P0135-Powertrain 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1; and P0141-Powertrain 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2. Please what could have triggered this codes and any possible solution, although the way the car gulps fuel, you will likely call it a drunkard sha. Suggestions and cost implications will be highly appreciated. Thank you
what is your engine type? 4cyl or v6?
possible culprits.
Faulty O2 sensors, bank 1/2
Faulty wire harness on B1 and 2
Faulty engine Ecu.
With O2 sensors not functional, vehicle will gulp fuel.
