dear Gazzuz

my honda CRV 1999 has been acting up..idling, delays for a few seconds before it shifts to gear 2. and guzzles fuel like no man's business.
so I decided to have a scan done on it.
the codes were in this order
1.P0325
2.p0135
3.p1337
4.p0370

I discovered that a mechanic had disconnected the o2 sensor.

I didn't get it brand new but I was using Total then changed to forte oil when I noticed dthe issue. Still no solution.

All efforts to link the brain box by various experts in ibadan here proved abortive.
What could have gone wrong??

Use prescribe oil for your engine. Check your top cylinder engine oil cover the capacity of you oil is writing boldly. You can see it as SAE ??.
Remove your abnormal oil and wash with engine cleaner then put an appropriate engine oil.

Pls people, my hyundai H1 shorts engine oil at an alarming rate. It doesn't smoke, there's no oil leak, fires normally but the oil dries up and consumes fuel voraciously. My mechanics are confused. What may be the cause and possible solution. Someone pls help.

buy forte oil nah. same 5w40 and cheaper than total quartz 9000 (also 5w40).

Gurus please help a brother out @ Gazzuzz, kingreign.. I noticed a small leak at these areas of the engine, it extends to the metal part of the O2 sensor should I be concerned?.

2. What can I do to stop the leak? there's no malfunction code, I've not had to top up oil since I noticed the leak and the car drives well.

3. I've used MOBIL XHP for maintenance twice prior to that I've maintained LUBEX OIL could it be the change in oil grade?

What is the difference between a synthetic blend 5w30 and a full synthetic 5w30? will a synthetic blend last up to 6 months on a car without causing sludge? which one is better?

which one is more expensive?


A synthetic blend, is a mixture of mineral and synthetic oils, usually a 30/70 mix, 30being synthetic and 70mineral.


About how long it would last in your engine, im not an authority in synthetic blends. But I can talk about advanced full synthetic mobil 1 from USA.

Since the ATF is still good according to him, there wont be any need to replace it. I have never seen clogged filter delay engagement cold, but stuff happen.

My take is sticking valve(s).

@mike070, you may check the filter, but leave the ATF. Times are hard! How does it engage in L1?
