Nice pictures bro. Planning a SW pictorial blog when next in Naija. I will certainly visit Ikogosi. SW Governors are quite serious about developing the tourist potentials of their State. I have read their plans and not only is it solid, but the Governors are actually working towards actualising these plans. Obviously, they have an eye on increased IGR and developing areas of natural and competitive advantages.

Osun To Launch Tourist-Friendly Park

olajokun Park, Gbogan, State of Osun.

TOURISTS and travellers passing through Osun State using the Ibadan–Ife Expressway will soon have a place to unwind, relax, bail out stress and travel fatigue as the Osun State Government is gearing up efforts at ensuring the completion of a multi–million naira tourists’ - friendly park before the year ends.

The park under construction is located at Gbogan junction, along the Ibadan–Ife Expressway is the initiative of Governor Rauf Aregbesola who believed that such a recreation centre is not only fit for the people of his state at this specific location, but a necessary incentive for tourists and travellers passing through the state to other parts of the country.

The park which is about 80 per cent completed is on three acres of land, giving enough room for the facilities in consideration of expected patrons and buyers.

The facilities therein are targeted at all for the purpose of recreation, fun, relaxation, sight–seeing, leisure and hospitality.

A tour of the park conducted by us recently revealed alluring fountain to be erected on an Elephant’ effigy, public toilets, a multi–purpose event centre with function rooms, 12-bedroom hotel, police post, restaurant and bar, canteen, mechanic workshop, car wash bay, children recreation centre, love garden and parking lots tailored at giving the travelling masses a place to relax while on transit.

Though the park is under construction, the community has started benefiting from the few inquisitive travellers who stop at the junction to have a look at what is being constructed.

Madam Taiwo Adelani, middle-aged woman who hawks oranges at the junction has this to say: “I don’t really understand what Governor Aregbesola is doing there. But it seems it is a good project as it has compelled many people to stop to see what is in there. These people also buy one or two things from us. I am sure at completion, more people will come and that is more patronage for us.”

The park which has started to boost commerce at this junction, is also adding value to the environment through its unique design and aesthetics which parades the coat of arms of the state which proudly announces IPINLE OMOLUABI.

geeez: Another Obudu in the making

Slowly and surely, Yorubaland is advancing

This is the same governor that increased the state's IGR from N106m to over N600m within a year and has also turned the state into a huge construction yard

Well done Fayemi
Tourism, erstwhile neglected, can help increase IGR appreciably. Ghana , in the West African hub, is a good model of a Nation that has exemplarily improved its tourism and hospitality sector to the extent the Nation now makes serious billions from tourism per year. For tourism to grow to its potential, there should be a drive to improve security and transport.

Ikogosi: Resort comes alive in Ekiti

JANUARY 5, 2013 BY FEMI MAKINDE 11 COMMENTS

https://assets.punchng.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Ikogosi.jpg
Ikogosi
Once neglected, the Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort is now transformed and ready for business, writes FEMI MAKINDE

The Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort is a preferred rendezvous for fun-seekers in Ekiti State. But its potential has been left largely untapped by successive administrations.

The resort is located on the outskirts of Ikogosi-Ekiti in the Ekiti-West Local Government Area of the state. Tucked in a serene environment, and far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it is described as one of the best tourist attractions in Africa ideal for relaxation and for holding retreats.

The Baptist Mission discovered the beauty of nature in Ikogosi in the 1950s. It made some efforts to transform the place, which soon began to attract tourists from far and near to the warm spring.

The spring flows from two sources of different temperatures: hot and cold. This remains a puzzle till date. For many years, its potential, which had the capacity to lift Ekiti’s present economy, was ignored.

But Governor Kayode Fayemi noticed this and in one of his speeches to the natives of the state, he pledged to transform the resort.

A few months after, there is evidence that Fayemi, who has tourism development as one of the items on his eight-point agenda, has fulfilled his promise to give the place a facelift.

Many natives of the state and visitors marvelled at the level of transformation that had taken place when the resort was opened to the public last October as part of activities marking the governor’s second year in office.

Newly built chalets, a multi-purpose hall, swimming pool, bar and other facilities have added to the beauty of the resort.

The government plans to build a three-star hotel at the resort to boost its capacity to generate funds. Shortly before he marked his two years in office, Fayemi said that the state government had acquired 116 hectares of land for the construction of the hotel, which would begin in the second phase of the development of the resort. A warm and cold spa, canopy walk, standard golf course, sporting and other recreational facilities will be added to existing ones.

The special adviser to the governor on tourism, Mr. Segun Olugunleko, says the resort, including a games reserve that is also in the offing, will be private sector-driven and commissioned in 2013.

Olugunleko says, “Facilities nearing completion at the warm spring resort include standard and executives suites, VIP villas, a 300-seater multi-purpose conference hall, a 60-seater meeting and function room, a 30-seater meeting room and standard rooms for campers and students on excursion.

“Other facilities under construction at the resort include a reception, multi-purpose building, warm water adult swimming pool, children’s pool, restaurant/bar, amphitheatre, arts and crafts centre as well as a children’s playground.”

Ologunleko says that as part of the efforts to ensure adequate security of lives and property of tourists at the centre, the state government has commenced work on the perimeter fencing of the resort.

He adds that the installation of closed-circuit television cameras and other security apparatus has also begun.

While stressing that the resort will be run purely as a revenue yielding venture for the state government
, Olugunleko notes that a South African firm, Mantis Collections Ltd., has been appointed to manage the resort

shymexx: My point is that if it's not possible for someone like Chief Negro_ntns who has his ancestry in Lagos but was born and raised in Kano to contest for the governorship position of Kano, why should other people who're not from Lagos be vying to rule the placehuh That's how the country works and people need to accept it...

Also, have you ever seen a Scot born and raised in London claim English ancestry?? Heck, Tony Blair is an English man born and raised in Scotland, did that change his English ancestry?? It's the same thing everywhere in the world and all the pseudo-modernists need to start accepting that human beings are naturally territorial and that's the way it's going to be till the end of time...
You and others need to forget about defining your thinking according to those trying to 'rule' anything. Believe me when I say those consumed with talking of how they rule this and that are the losers who have no individual achievements to their name and need to talk up themselves with perceived ethnic achievement/greatness. Politics and being able to 'rule' is not everything.

Most Nigerians are just consumed with securing a dignified life and it is sad we come here daily to arrogantly and egotistically discuss vainglorious sentiments while ignoring things that matter and can improve Nigeria for all of us. You know how many of these Cats here are losers living a 'rebirth' in greatness through Nairaland? Look, it is a new year. Make a commitment to look back more.

It is not just about reading all the intellectually fashionable books and running around thinking others are pseudo-modernist, 'appeaseniks' and fantasists. Has it ever occurred to you that you are taking your inspiration from losers and clannish folks who have arrived where they are because of their protectionist, prejudiced, non-practical and self-defeatist views? Look begin coming to Nigeria or even Africa , in general, more. Come and see if all this over-intellectualised garbage many obsess with , on NL, exist or matter on the ground.

Believe me when I say those getting the best out of Nigeria, or even any African country, are those who know how to manage people well and get the best out of them and not these clueless hacks here who polarise, alienate and divide needlessly at every opportunity. All what you and others obsess with here matter nought on the ground but only real experience can show you that.

shymexx: ^^^That's wishful thinking in a tribalised society... There's nothing "indolent" about doing right thing within the context in which it's done.. It only becomes problematic when pseudo-modern thinkers continue to preach their idealist theories to the choir just to suit their own personal interests... If that's what is attainable across the board - why should Lagos be singled out by pseudo-modern thinkers for their idealist fantasies??

I'm just thinking out loud here...
Shymexx, you really need to start deferring to those who have lived the experience instead of believing the "we own the land" brigade because it suits your disposition, persona and feudal outlook. I went to primary and secondary school in Lagos and I am there around 5 times a year. What do you know about the place to be so intolerantly vociferous whenever Lagos is mentioned? You are talking ignorantly of "tribalised society"? Why don't you leave your comfort zone and travel to Lagos and see things for yourself instead of using Nairaland as a social barometer? Do you think ethnic groups are openly fighting themselves on the Streets in Lagos because that is what obtains here?

Have you ever lived in Lagos? You are just displaying the lack of humility and inability to learn from others, especially genuine stakeholders, that prevents many making progress. Look, I live around the Bode-Thomas axis of Surulere. On my street are my pals who are non-Yoruba I went to school with and have known for over 25 years. They are more Lagosian than you are in my opinion - even if you sit here everyday 'claiming'. Importantly, we have all lived the nuanced Lagos lingo and life , from childhood, that unites us. You have not yet insist on behaving as if certain things are your automatic right. That is how I reason and it is more consonant and useful to what the world is today so stop the "modern thinking" crap as if I am suggesting the impractical rather than what exists on the ground as we speak while you and others keep touting what is totally incongruous with reality. When are you and others going to come to Lagos to claim your 'ownership pass' you will use to form over Tony Elumelu?

alj harem: Nope Jakende is actually from Illorin Kwara state

Fashola is the third generation so yes he is an indigene that is why he is more passionate about lagos unlike his predecessors' Tinubu who just kept on stealing.

But regardless whether they are indigenes or not, Jakanda transformed Lagos and he was not an indigene.

Symexx no one cares if he is from any sub-group so long as he can do the job then people would vote for him. Please don't think I like Dosumu because he is Awori. Far from it, I love him because I know he would transform lagos by starting from where Fashola stopped.

Don't let this sub-group thing get into your head Shymexx angry. wink

Lets just do the right thing here.
Alhaji, it really is fascinating how you and others on this forum make a big deal of identifying the hamlet every Nigerian originated from.

Sometimes, you people who claim to be Lagosian confound me. I wonder whether you are talking about the same Lagos I know well spanning a period over 30 years.

We should start embracing modern ideas in a world where borders, and an indolent sense of entitlement, in an increasingly competitive world, are diminishing to be replaced by the notion that talent, ability and productiveness to society is paramount above everything else. Many of us should focus more on positioning ourselves and our kids competitively and correctly , so we can 'win', instead of fooling ourselves with any false sense of security, ownership or entitlement. By the way, who is Jakende and jakanda?

Ok. Let us wait and see. The Same Mamora I see hanging around Obanikoro fawningly at the Nigerian embassy in Ghana and generally seeking relevance not based on his own sagacity? You think anyone takes Mamora seriously enough ,when he is at the end stage of political jobbing, to make him Governor of Lagos after Fashola?

Vacancy only exist for involved 'apprentices', ready to graduate, who are up to speed with issues and can continue leading seamlessly when Fashola hands over the baton. No 'trainee' model in Lagos. Trust me. Keep watching. Many forget that Fashola, even if unknown before 2007, was up to speed in the background as a directly groomed and involved understudy of Tinubu. Fashola took on the BRT scheme, Eko Atlantic project and many other plans enthusiastically , started under Tinubu, because he was a part of the team involved with and committed to those plans. Same will play out again.

Alhaji, If I ask you to show me what you are doing to rescue the Lagos you claim to love so much, can you do so? Are you registered with any Political Party? Are you ready to mobilise for that Party and fight for the change you seek? Or is it just that you are full of hot air and seeking other flawed mortals to be your messiah as 90% of Nigerians are? It remains very simple. You have two years to wrestle Lagos away from the ACN. With the noise you make here, back it with structured and formal effort. You can even start mobilising from Nairaland.

enyice: sequel to your apt analysis, you are still yet to sincerely profer any objective comment void of emmotion and sentiments.

You are not mandated to manufacture a response to every poster on this thread.

I understand, your emotional attachment and dedication to the ACN cause. You are human afterall but do us all a favour and calm your nerves for the sake of your dignity.

HAPPY NEW YEAR.
Look at your own response that does not seek to even address the thread topic but rather focuses on another forumer. I do not tell anyone here I am perfect but your response here is typical of what is failing Nigeria. I.e the failure of a nation's youth, as the most potent force it has, to note and concentrate on what matters instead of them obsessing over who/what does not.

Whether you know it or are even prepared to admit it, your nation has brainwashed many of its youth to be obsessed with personalities. This is why, for example, you craft a response here that avoids the topic yet attempts to make your fellow forumer the topic. This is why Nigerian youth, with nothing preventing them controlling their own fortune and future, speak like little spellbound children who are forever scared of the big, bad bogeymen in Tinubu, IBB, OBJ et al.

Here it is common for young, potent men to speak as if they would cower in the corner if Tinubu or IBB came into their house to have their way with all the women in their household. I have my faults but I am scared of no one and I deify nobody. I only recognise that the world is a stage and those who bravely present themselves , to include even criminals, will play a role. Happy new year to you too.
PoliticsRe: Oluremi Tinubu For Governor (Lagos State) by Gbawe: 3:56pm On Jan 04, 2013
rhymz: why do some posters find it hard to admit that Tinubu is a liability to ACN?
As long as the man continues be the numero uno of the party, he will continue to be the sole crown maker of the ACN irrespective of whether it runs contrary to democratic tenets or not. If tomorroe his wife, Oluremi begins to show keen interest in Lagos being Lagos state governor, trust me, the flaws in the ACN party system will rear its head again and reveal itself.
Keep fooling yourself. It is easier to never recognise how Nigeria has conditioned you to be weak, cowardly and fearful of the 'insurmountable ogres' rather than for you to learn from examples that obtains worldwide with youths rising up to prove they can take destiny in their own hands.

Why do the Tinubus of the world remain relevant if you are not cowardly? Join the PDP. Join the ACN, CPC or any Party of your choice. As long as you realise that you are the only one who can emancipate yourself from mental slavery (Bob Marley) then the battle is nearly won towards Nigeria creating a class of young people ready to rise up and depose/better the Tinubus, OBJs, IBBs, Anenihs for the glory of Nigeria.

Those old cats have played their part and only endure because Nigerian youths remain inadequate, impotent, fearful, cowardly and unable to take control. We stay in the background complaining. That is what we do best. Whereas young people elsewhere fight and make sacrifices to prove themselves and gain the change they want.
PoliticsRe: Oluremi Tinubu For Governor (Lagos State) by Gbawe:
Gaybriel: I wonder why we delibrate on someone's opinion. The op said it was his on idea yet we discussed it as if it were from a proven source. Besides, Muiz Banire is not an indigene of Lagos. Let's look for something to do rather than crucify our politicians for what they are not bold enough to say to the public.
Blame it on how your fellow citizens, even if unpleasant to admit, are over-emotional and vacuously pugnacious. You are right. It is the opinion of the OP. A very ludicrous one at that. One thing many of us fail to account for is the fluid intelligence of those who lead us. They may be greedy and self-serving but they are not self-destructive. Indeed, permanent interest and self-preservation is something we can trust all politicians to be about. GEJ will be bounced if he becomes unpopular enough to the extent the mood of the day shows that the PDP risk losing everything by backing him.

Similarly, Tinubu will be mad pushing his wife to be Governor of a State with the strategic importance of Lagos if that sort of move will strengthen the opposition and lose the Party swing/undecided votes or even ACN stalwarts who will be disillusioned with the side-lining of meritorious 'apprentices' and those who have contributed to develop Lagos and are up to speed with issues.

The 2015 project is even bigger than Lagos or any singular character and will involve a lot of actors and scenarios even Tinubu must respect. What I am saying will become obvious to Nigerians soon. If some want to keep childishly fearing and deifying men like Tinubu as if they are gods , without recognising the power in their own arms, then please be my guest. It is the reason IBB arrogantly said young people are not ready to lead. He observed many of us spend too much time worshipping and talking about them and not establishing our own identities as ready and able/superior replacements for them. Do any of you see Obama or Tony Blair arrogantly saying American and British youths are not ready to lead?

All I will say is that Tinubu has gotten where he is today by 'knowing the score'. Did he not show he knew the score by sticking with Fashola even when the usual "Tinubu-is-the-most-powerful-dictator-in-the-entire-world" sought to convince us Fashola would be dumped as the ACN candidate in 2011? We need to start reading the tarot cards better in Nigeria instead of being gullible and unhelpfully emotional/sentimental always.
3 reaasons I would want to see Remi Tinubu become the governor in 2015.

1. Nigeria would be breaking the record of electing the first female governor. Women emancipation!

2. It will be hilarious to see Asiwaju follow her up and down as the first lady of the state. grin

Aside from the aforementioned, I don't see anything Remi has to offer. Being pretty and a good dresser is good, but being a governor of a state has a lot more to do with intelligence, hardwork, and dedication.

Should she win the primaries of which could be arranged, presenting her or Muiz as an CAN gubernatorial candidate will be an easy win for Dosumu.

Sadly, some hypocrites are already on the necks of commentators...forcing them to believe news that has been on for years is a propaganda. But when same kind of 'lies' were said of GEJ's posters and Gej denied it, they insisted he knew about it.

Bottomline is that Acn is no better than Pdp, Lp or Cpc. They are all the same. Folks in Lagos, Imo, Anambra, Osun etc voted for the opposition party because of the candidate they put up.

So, if Tinubu deccides to field his wife believing that it was just ACN members that voted Fashola...then, that may be the begining of the downfall of Tinubu dynasty which includes ACN.

Obj may be right about Lagos 2015 anyway. undecided
No wonder you dabbled in politics and got nowhere. You are simply another emotional person failing to rise above sentiments to see what matters. Take it from me, that will always get in the way of any political ambition you have.

OAM4J: You are the one that is about to fall into the same mistake of 'I voted for Jonathan not PDP' we are living witnesses to the result of that errir.
Thank you !! We keep telling the Alj Harem of the world to stop being so emotional and see what really matters. It is the whole emotion-over-logic predilection of Nigerians that landed us with GEJ. I am almost certain Balarabe Musa will never be a private fan of Tinubu yet look at his pragmatic utterance below because he sees what matters that emotional folks cannot.

The minute we pull down the only Party (ACN) that ,even with innate flaws, neutralises the PDP somewhat and represents the best chance for our politics to keep evolving into what we want is the day PDP impunity comes back in full force. The sort of impunity that saw James Ibori become the governor of a Nigerian State even as he was disqualified by virtue of being convicted of several criminal acts in the UK.

When some Nigerians petitioned against the candidacy of Ibori, a Nigerian court laughably decided that the candidate Ibori was different to the Ibori convicted in the UK. Anyone who appreciate how far we have come and how far we still need to go will stop focusing totally on personalities as alj Harem does. If unhappy with Tinubu, when will it occur to us young Nigerians that we can get involved to raise and shape a political system more representative of our aspirations? Why continue to talk of 'strong men' mythically and reverentially as if we are scared of them and as if we genuinely view them omnipotent? Democracy is a journey and not a destination.

2015: Musa Calls for Strong Opposition against PDP

12 Jun 2012

Chairman of the Conference of Nigerian Political Parties (CNPP) and former governor of old Kaduna State, Alhaji Balarabe Musa

By John Shiklam

Chairman of the Conference of Nigerian Political Parties (CNPP) and former governor of old Kaduna State, Alhaji Balarabe Musa, Monday called on the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) to extend their ongoing alliance talks to other parties in order to have a formidable grounds to kick out the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) out of power in 2015.

Musa in an interview with THISDAY in Kaduna described moves by the two parties to form an alliance as a good development, noting however that the two parties cannot go it all along without carrying other parties along.

According to him, among all the opposition parties, the ACN is the most formidable; pointing out that other political parties should rally round it in order to effect the desired change Nigerians are yearning for in Nigeria.

He said further that in order to achieve this, those in the opposition must do away with all personal ambition and be united to bring out a very credible, patriotic and trust worthy Nigerian that will win the confidence of the generality of the Nigerian masses.

He maintained that Nigerians were tired of the PDP and its anti people policies and are desirous of positive change that will address the bad situation of things in the country, stressing that all the people need, is a political a strong opposition that would produce a credible and generally acceptable Presidential candidate for the party.

He warned against mistakes of the past and urged the two political parties to reach out to other political to mobilise Nigerians to vote out the PDP in 2012, adding that the ACN, as the leading opposition should take the lead by initiating such moves.

“We should not deceive ourselves, ACN has control of at least six states, it is the leading opposition party and it must take the lead in bringing all other parties together. If we really want to remove the PDP out of power, we have to rally round support from all stakeholders” the former governor said.

Billyonaire: You are an intelligent fellow with total ignorance of standard political and institutional ideals in a democracy. So, Tinubu has become a political institution, so instead of ACN making decision based on its manifesto you now replace ACN with Tinubu. No matter how good the plan is, it should be structurally instituted, 'what if' Tinubu falls asleep and dont wake up? So all his 'good plans' crumble. It is the reason democracy is 'institution centered' and not 'individual centered'. Project your intelligence for positivism and not logical abnormalities.
No you m0r0n. I am telling someone who hates Tinubu vacuously to appreciate what pragmatically intelligent Nigerians understand. Why do the Utomis, Falanas et al gravitate towards the ACN? You think it is to worship Tinubu? No. Those men are very intelligent, opinionated and pragmatic. Thus they understand fully the evolution Nigeria must go through. Unlike most Nigerians, like you, who entertain emotion yet offer not much else, men like Balarabe Musa understand the concept of pitching your tent somewhere instead of just ranting wildly.

Go and find out what many respected Nigerians who now endorse or associate with the ACN, like Balarabe Musa, think of Tinubu. They will give answers, because they are pragmatically intelligent, along the lines that Tinubu is needed for specific things and for our specific current stage. Not one will tell you Tinubu is the be all and end all because political evolution and efficacy, that will outlive all of us, is what matter mosts. If Tinubu helps to achieve those things, then pragmatically intelligent Nigerians will work with him.

By the way, do not even touch the manifesto thing. Knowing and inspecting the specific manifesto of Parties is something I take a big interest in. Like I stated earlier, the ACN is an infinitesimally more intelligent Party than the PDP and their far superior manifesto reflects this. I know your style of debate enough to understand you will use any argument, however silly, to bolster your positions which are often personalised and personality-centred.

Even honest PDP stalwarts will tell you that there is no basis for comparison between the ACN and the PDP when it comes to manifesto, action plans, innovation and progressive political policies. You want to compare a Party that is all about wastage and begging bowl extended towards Abuja to one that believes in collecting taxes effectively, raising IGR, strengthening fiscal federalism, improving comparative economic advantages , efficient mass transport, optimal PPP (Private, public partnership) usage etc? Abeg come better this new year. Like I said earlier, some day when some of you can stop being so emotional, it will become clear to folks like you why intelligent, respected Nigerians and achievers, who get involved and act on behalf of their nation, opt for the ACN when they must pitch their tent.

Alhaji, stop wasting your time with these talks centred around a thinly-veiled hatred of Tinubu. Go and get involved and test your ability on the ground. One thing people like you fail to appreciate is that the ACN has and continues to attract the finest brains in the SW and beyond. That is no accident. The most intelligent Nigerians, if pragmatic also, will keep heading towards the ACN like Utomi. They are not fooled the Party is a haven of virtue but, as pragmatically intelligent people, they know what they know to appreciate what matters in the grand scheme of things and in relation to how the political evolution of Nigeria will pan out.

You should note what the Tinubu you hate so much is doing. When Anenih and OBJ are supporting military relics to become Governors , in this day and age, Tinubu is seeking the finest technocrats and professionals around. Stop fooling yourself mentioning Dosumu up and down. Lagos ACN will enjoy an even more comfortable win in 2015 but I won't show you why because you remain too emotional to appreciate that pragmatism plays a very big part in politics.

Alhaji, you are talking too much out of emotion and your hatred of Tinubu. Political office is not won through emotion and fierce hatred of others alone. Go and join the process and help the PDP strategize to depose the ACN in Lagos. Simple as that.
PoliticsRe: Oluremi Tinubu For Governor (Lagos State) by Gbawe: 11:00am On Jan 04, 2013
pheesayor: the op seems like a mischievous person, contradicting himself in the original post. How can someone who ha not contributed in the Senate become governor of a state like Lagos? Now going around nairaland using #OluremiTinubu2015 means he is a member of the laptop crew trying to poison People's mind against ACN
You are totally correct but many here like responding emotionally and angrily before stopping to think so as to note what is obvious and that they are being 'punked'. It is like saying I want Allison-Madueke to become President even as I know she is very corrupt and was ineffective as a Minister. If I talk in a way that is completely devoid of sense, is it not left for the readers to discern my agenda of mischief that means I just want to invoke abuse and anger against others?
PoliticsRe: Oluremi Tinubu For Governor (Lagos State) by Gbawe: 10:53am On Jan 04, 2013
Demdem: This thread is specifically designed to rubbish Asiaju Tinubu. The thread and Op should be ignored especially since the self acclaimed ACN guys has spoken.
Demdem, there is no chance of Remi Tinubu becoming Governor. No one is planning for that at all but folks can believe what they want since it appears many enjoy working themselves up over total fabrication stemming from the 'vivid' imagination of others.

Leave those who enjoy crafting fantasy to dream. Remi Tinubu is not becoming the next Governor of Lagos. I can tell you all she still will not stand a chance even if the top 10 for the job suddenly all died.

alj harem: See how wicked Nigerians are. What has the wife of a Lagos state thief done to deserve such post.

This is the main reason why ACN should not win Lagos 2015. Pdp should just present Ade dosumu and watch them win insha Allah.
At least consider the feasibility of a submission before you start working yourself up needlessly. Remi Tinubu is not becoming the next Governor of Lagos. That is the personal fantasy of the OP he has been spreading around the forum and you would do well to stop hyperventilating over the empty utterances, with no factual basis, stemming from the vivid imagination of others.
PoliticsRe: What Is Lagos Doing With Its Subsidy Removal Fund? by Gbawe: 6:33am On Jan 04, 2013
OP, you are a mischief-maker no doubt but a certified dimwit to boot. When Lagos spends copiously by assuming the responsibilities of the FG, to the scale of many billions, what manner of idiocy leads you to be blind to the logic simple statistics point at? Lagos , as the most burdened State in Nigeria, has many challenges it can hardly meet and you are here talking as if any paltry accrual from subsidy savings will not be spent judiciously before even being received?

Lagos is having to spend its own money carrying out duties of the FG , so the State does not grind to a halt, and you are here brewing mischief. You should find a better way to make a living. This thing of licking GEJ's azz and trying to discredit those you perceive his enemies is simply not working out for you. Please subtract subsidy savings accrual to Lagos from the sum below and present the balance to your oga for expedited payment. Olodo. While at it, help us to ask your clueless, divisive and feudal paymasters when they will deem it fit to grant Lagos the special status it deserves.

Fed Govt owes Lagos N51b
Posted by: Okwy Iroegbu-Chikezie Posted date: January 02, 2013 In: Business

The Federal Government owes Lagos State over N51 billion for roads constructed and certified on behalf of the Federal Government in some parts of the state.

The state Commissioner for Works & Infrastructure Dr Femi Hamzat made this known during an interview with The Nation in Lagos.

He listed some of the roads as Funsho Williams and several others at the Central Business District (CBD).

He urged the Federal Government to expedite the payment since the projects have been certified okay by its engineers.

Don't mind the shameless mischief-maker. Beaf trained him and others well in the art of weasel-like and ignoble conduct. How can he reconcile the title of his thread with the content? Is Osun the only State mentioned for his thread to be titled as it is? Is there not even a section of the article where the spokesman of Aregbesola states that Osun has complied with paying the minimum wage? The chap is simply as slimy, unprincipled and as slithering as Beaf was. That fool too (Beaf) never stopped obsessing about Aregbesola 24/7 while his own State Governor (Uduaghan) was running his Delta State into the ground without so much as a peep from his cowardly and lying tongue.

When there is cause to JOIN the criticism of PDP acts I do so as you must have noticed from my posts.
However I have a particular interest in showing the HYPOCRISY of the conmen in ACN for what it is at every opportunity. Learn to deal with it otherwise ask your friends to ensure they have nothing to be criticised for.

BTW, if Aregberascal has nothing to hide as claimed by his spokesperson, why the restraining order from the court huh
Shut up lying twit. You are disgusting. Go and mind your own business and get off Aregbesola's case.

I would like to apologise for the misleading psoition (11th) I gave to Osun state. You are correct.
I was in a hurry this morning and took the # of LGs 30 to be the serial # of Osun state on the table thus using Oyo state figures.
Error sincerely regretted.
Nevertheless all other responses I posted are intact and you are yet to credibly defend any of them

peckhamboi: What is your fixation with Aregbe and ACN,you deliberately left out 8 PDP governors. If you are familiar with Osun State, you will know they have been paying 18k since July
Thank you !!!! Sometimes, I am sick to the back teeth of this forum and the misguided and hateful elements posting here. We can all have our differences and loyalty but it is those who are especially malevolent, like this OP, who go the extra mile to use deception and lies . This OP has blatantly lied against Aregbesola in the past and it is clear the vendetta is personal for him. They mentioned several Governors with many , as you rightly pointed out, being PDP Governors. Yet this deceitful OP, with his unhealthy fixation on Aregbesola, manages to make this only about the Osun Governor. This disturbed OP did not even note what is written below in the article before his attempt at undisguised mischief. Sad.

But Mr. Semiu Okanlawon, spokesman of Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola said: “Osun State should not be listed as one of those to be battled by the NLC because it has implemented the Minimum Wage Act. “Workers in state have even confirmed enjoying the minimum wage.

You mean the "all Parties are the same" clowns? Those deluded jokers will not show face here because we all know that, statistically, the PDP is about violence and death far more than any other Party in Nigeria. Right now, they are slaughtering Nigerians like Chicken using their terrorist minions. Since Alao-Akala and Adedibu checked out, Oyo is now more peaceful. Same with Ogun State. Amosun has no use for a killer squad like the one Gbenga 'elebo' Daniel used to terrorise the State with. The less said about Oyinlola, Omisore, Oni et al, the better. It is always murder and mayhem with the PDP.
