...I second you on the issue of proper registration but it seem the owner or the handler of the site don't want it to grow beyond what its today.
tropaz:
sad sad sad

If you really think outside the box, you will understand some salient issues in this Magu's case.
Firstly, the man handled one of the most sensitive positions in Nigeria. I mean a post that will automatically earn you more enemies than friends.

Secondly, I feel the federal government has exposed him to devourers by not giving him a fair hearing. (Probably, that's why top notch medical doctors and footballers keep trooping out of the country on a daily basis.) DIE FOR NIGERIA, AND DIE FOR NOTHING.

Lastly, both Malami and Magu ought to be suspended to allow fair hearing... This is obviously a game of self interest.

With all these unfounded allegations, I feel bad for him..... What if he's innocent?

IF ONLY YOU KNOW HOW EAGER THE AVERAGE NIGERIAN IS PATIENTLY WAITING FOR YOUR FAILURE....In fact, see how people trooped out to protest against Pastor Fatoyinbo...(I'm not a rape apologist but we should lean to listen to both sides before taking side please...) Nobody asked him for his own side of the story.... Even Muslim in full hijab was like #NOTINMYCHURCH!!!

PS
I miss those day when nairaland comments from fine brains could compete with any university degree in Nigeria (you go just learn something ni).
These days ehn, na just mumu underage plenty for the forum.... Its hightime members started registering with a valid ID on this platform walahi.... I want to read comments from mature men abegi...

...sometime we claim that our leaders are the one using religion and ethnics to divide us but in truth and honesty we are the one dividing ourselves, why do you keep mentioning muslims? and sending three ex-governor to jail is a clear signal that nobody is immune to prison yard.

CodeTemplar:

You think you made sense right. You almost.
So in a northern Nigeria with muslims majority, you only have three non Muslim convict ex-governors?

You in fact reinforced my argument about the north. You need to stop saying the oil is worthless than tissue paper and start prospecting for tissue papers or rather start planting trees for tissue paper materials. Nonsense!

Politics / Re: Emefiele In Import Duty Scandal Against President Buhari’s Directive - Sahara R by gbengaeed(m): 10:48am On Sep 18, 2020
...people that follow the economic policy of the FG (Buhari's Admin) will tell you that CBN and Emefeile are the Judas of our time, his policy is never inline with the FG Economic Council, if you can remember the devaluation saga, the loan interest rate issue with Adeosun which later lead to the VP initiating traders moni and the likes independently away from the banks and CBN, the dollar floating policy, the recent interest rate issue with bank operator. all these are just a few of many sabotage moves of Emefeile lead CBN.
LandMann:
I'm not surprised... Most southern leaders stink of corruption due to over civilization... They never put the country and it's people first in what they do... They are always after their own illegal gains once they occupy public office... And once they are caught, the foolish southern people and it's media arm start playing ethnicity card and organising paid protests. Funny enough, you hardly hear of northerns coming to defend any northerner accused and being tried for corruption..

Look at the roads in the south and compare to the north... Just compare the infrastructural development in the north to the south... We are acting intelligent in the south while our political leaders rob us blind and turn us against the north... We produced presidents for 16 years out of the last 21 years... But go and look at Ore Abeokuta road where Obasanjo is from...the one who likes to write letters...

Go and look at Benin Warri road with all the oil revenue being received there and countless billions approved for them and siphoned by southern politicians while our people keep dying like flies in road accidents, while looking to the north as their source of problem.

Only Yar Adua, a Northerner pursued Nigeria's interest with zeal... But death cut him short... Buhari would have done greater things for Nigeria if not for the fall in revenue arising from crude oil price crash, together with the crowd of thieves surrounding him.

Sanusi too, a northerner occupied that CBN seat and made life easier for Nigerians with different monetary policies... He eliminated nonsensical ATM charges and many other fraudulent bank charges used by banks to legally steal from customers...

But our southern man Emiefele has climbed that seat now and he reintroduced bank charges, atm charges and so many others... because he's a capitalist and capitalism is fueled by greed and corruption in underdeveloped country like Nigeria where institutions are weak and checkmates can be easily maneuvered....

We will be ready to move forward when we start hanging looters in this country.

Thank you.

seunmsg:

I was expecting you to come up with your usual vitriolic against Tinubu but you kinda disappointed me a bit with the tongue in check comment cheesy.

Tinubu is definitely not a saint but he’s a far better option than Atiku. Osinbajo is the only serious contender that I rate ahead of him but it seems the VP is not interested so for now, Tinubu it is for me.

-We are so religious but yet very Un-Godly.
-We advocate for good education system both would prefer to see and sponsor entertainment (soft porn) programs.
-We see corruption and stealing as a bad thing only if our kinsmen are not involved.
-Always majoring in minor E.g. we dominate twitter trend with no meaningful issue.
-We complain that things are hard but yet paying the premium subscription on everything without a cry (Protest and Questioning) and subscribing to very worthless idea.
-We claim that we are intelligent but rather we are just a clever for selfish and unlawful gain individuals.
-Constantly praying for grace with lazy, corrupt and idle mind.
-Never wanting to take responsibilities always looking for whom to blame
-Parent blaming school teachers and society for the bad behavior of their children, People blaming the government and the government is blaming previous administration, and previous administration blaming the earlier admin.
Feel free to add yours maybe it will unconsciously change the mindset of someone because, I believe Nigerians including myself needs a change of attitude and mindset.

...I know this is just a move to win the post but its a total betrayal, Nigeria drop the initial candidate for you with the hope that the country will stand a better chance and be in a favorable position when you win, and now you are switching alliance with the country's ticket for another country. the USA will never gives that freedom you and your team think you will have when you win and by the way the post is not about individual its about country and people, anyway these are the typical way of Nigerians always ready to decamp and betray the country any moment. Obviously you will be answerable to the USA and not Nigeria, Wish you all the best and hope that this will not send a wrong signal to Nigerians on patriotism.

...imagine a clueless and unwilling man as a governor that is what we have in Ogun-state, people are saying it is the godfather thing and i disagree because the godfather cannot asked for more than what he is asking from Sanwo-olu (that is if there is a demand) and Sanwo-Olu is not a stand still governor. how Dapo Abiodun manage to belong to Daniel and Amosun caucus still baffles me because those guys are independent thinker and also a doer, and by the way there is no wicked Nigerian politicians there are only wicked Nigerian. real politician care about their party and they know the only way to win is to perform, if you relate between grassroots, political office and the power that be you will understand what am saying. its the lack of performance from the office holder that force them (the power that be) to demand for money to boost the image of the party, contract execution is enough for them and they know how to manage their resources, real politicians don't change party they can marge or re-brand but they will never join the opposition either they are in power or not.

...Nigerians we always trying to massage our ego, well done.
Opexzy:
I have met honest people in Nigeria too, with even a more convincing test.

I was in computer village, ikeja Lagos state to fix my phone's screen that broke. It was on a Thursday and all shops were meant to be closed due to lockdown restrictions.
Just like you know, some of them will surely still be by the roadside to hustle for customers. I was there explaining to the technician that want to fix my phone, when a car pulled over and the driver stretched out his hand and handed over his phone, (an iPhone for that matter) to the same guy to help add screen protector and a silicone case.
He paid right there and told the guy he is in a hurry to pick up someone at the airport that he would collect it when he his returning. He dropped his contact card and didn't even bother to collect the guys contact before he drove off.

Everyone was surprised including the guy, because he has never met the man before and there was no traceable location because everywhere was locked.

I think it's better you thank your star that you met a good Zimbabwean.
Just like I use to pray to always encounter good Nigerians

Bad people are everywhere likewise good people.

MODIFIED:
To those asking me if the guy ever returned his phone.
When the guy was done, he called the man and he left us in his shop to wait for him by the road side.
I would not have narrated the story if I didn't know how it ended.

I am sure at one point in time we have all met at least one good and honest Nigerian.

Reading through people's comments and some of my mentions makes it look like I am the only Nigerian on this forum. Ask yourself what would you have done if you were the Zimbabwean, it is that simple. If you are not sure, then na your body the mess dey smell.

I can boldly say this, If I were the the Zimbabwean in the OP's story I would not have done it differently.

...he's doing it for Osinbajo, the cabals are not comfortable with Osinbajo because of 2023 and Tinubu is using this presidential campaign to divert attention away from him so that the man can have peace and focus. Fashola or Osinbajo are Tinubu's best card come 2023. and they remain his mind to mind friend in terms of Intelligent, Hardworking, Loyalty, Teamwork and Fearless Character.
priceaction:
My mind is telling me that this tinubu might pull a joker in the forth coming presidential election. If you know his pattern, he always shift attention to himself and finally pull a joker when there are lots of diversions and fights. He has been doing it in Lagos even during this last election.
I still believe that his camp may still settle for oshibajo after much fights here and there because they are still parley to themselves and oshibajo is still loyal to him and APC and oshibajo is never a puppet of tinubu, but loved by many. He did it during his nomination as VP too. Time will tell. Forget that dogara diversion. That's just distractions..

...when i show people these picture some years back they laugh at me not because they don't see the symbol but because they don't understand the argument, which is SOME RELIGIOUS LEADER DON'T USE ONLY THE BIBLE BUT STRONGLY USE THE HIDDEN BOOKS and will be deceiving followers with some theories that can not hold water. more reason why Jesus said: Then I will tell them, 'I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.' because these people see the light and they don't want others to. There is a certain way that prayers should be pray, you shouldn't pray more than twice before GOD answer you (GOD is not deaf, if HE want you to wait he will tell you, if He will not give you what you ask he will tell you) and those people know how to do it but they won't tell you, some because they don't want you to abuse it, some because they want you to remain where you are and be doing sir sir for them, some will not because they are afraid of your orientation which is differ from the reality. in all there is more to spirituality than Bible and Qua-ran.

KEEP HATING APC
critique2:

What people don't understand is that APC did more harm than good to Ngige. After his fall out with PDP, Ngige was greatly loved by Anambra people, that was why he won the senatorial seat with ACN. He lost the governorship tussle to Obi because of Obi's incumbency power and working style too. If Ngige had been in KOWA party to contest against Obiano at the expiration of Obi's tenure, he would have won. Anambra hates APC, Ngige can get FG's attention but not Anambra's attention.... Maybe until he quits the APC.
