SR practises investigative journalism. You could choose to dismiss their report with a wave of the hand because you support GEJ.It doesnt invalidate the report. |
Sources from different parts of Nigeria have disclosed to SR that the ruling party, the PDP is having a field day rigging the presidential elections.''The PDP has used huge cash to buy the police, soldiers, officials of INEC and even other party agents'',says a US based attorney who travelled to Anambra state to observe the elections. In Lagos state and most parts of the South-West states, the ruling party has been granted a free pass by the ACN leader,Bola Tinubu to rig the polls.Mr Tinubu struck a deal with the Jonathan-Sambo team to help the PDP ticket win the votes it needs to carry the day. In Kaduna, the PDP has moved in with stupendous cash to avert certain electoral embarassment to Vice President Sambo.Mr Sambo could not deliver his ward last week leading to great panic on the part on the Jonathan-Sambo ticket. BUHARI alleges plane-loads of ballot papers are being thumb printed in the homes of some politicians(AIT) |
ymozay:That is the only word the PDP understands:SHARING. |
stiyke:You mean those owambe rallies were a campaign?he did visit most parts of the country, but what was the main crux of his campaign? They were very uninspiring, mildly put.Just the usual shouts of "PDP ,power" and pontifications on the political platform .Why did he keep busing people from one venue to the other if he was that popular? Why did he keep renting the crowd? We ve been here before and its a shame some people will still vote for him despite his antecedents. |
Kobojunkie:Of course the excess crude account comes in handy. |
davd:Of course the PDP stands no chance of winning a free and fair election. And,to avoid humiliation at the polls, they resort to desperate measures.ONE MAN ONE VOTE INDEED. |
We shall have to wait and see what happens tomorrow. |
dejavus:Lol |
Very good. |
considering the Arabs do not have a high opinion of America,he shouldnt have done that. |
blink182:You would be doing the right thing by voting for the CPC even if they dont win.But those who choose to vote for the PDP would be contributing to the retrogression of Nigeria .They have no moral right to complain if things get worse. |
lionbiz:visa to any country?Could you please tell us your modus operandi? |
the guy talks in billions. The independence day celebrations and the foreign reserves readily comes to mind. |
This has a precedent.GEJ should just serve out his "lucky term" and leave. |
With some 24 hours to saturday's crucial presidential elections in Nigeria, president Goodluck Jonathan is deploying state resources far and wide in an unprecedented effort to buy every inch of support.A Central Bank of Nigeria official told Saharareporters today that in the extraordinary spending spree, the Goodluch Jonathan team had mopped up some 107 billion naira from the Nigerian economy Much of the monies is going to Northern parts of Nigeria where the campaign has handed over 2 billion Naira to each state governor and PDP officials to capture the North for Jonathan. A CNN report today validates what Saharareporters has repeatedly revealed about Jonathan's lacklustre campaigns in terms of the sparse audiences in his rallies despite the millions of Naira consistently spent to bus supporters from state to state.Sometimes, the same supporters are moved to other stops. In the battle for Nigeria's presidency,CNN's Christian Purefoy reported from Sokoto state,"widely regarded as the base of Northern power and the region with the highest number of registered voters".Showing a scanty crowd during a widely advertised campaign visit of Goodluck, the report focuses on Jonathan's near absent support. "Pressed up against the fence here,it looks like a lot of people have turned out for President Goodluck's visit, but if you come forward to the space where he will be speaking,it is pretty much empty". Can a pure water sachet kill ? |
^^^^^I think we need it asap |
Given the peculiar nature of Nigeria,in which incumbents behave like tin 'gods' ,harass political opponents and deploy state resources towards their re-election bids, shouldnt there be a law making it mandatory for them to resign, ninety days before elections?Would such a law not curb their excesses?Wouldn't it create a more level playing field for the candidates as none would be able to use his priviledged position to influence electoral officers at the vote?Would it not make nonsense of the so called' INCUMBENCY FACTOR'.Contributions are welcome. |
foseni:I dont think you could lay the blame at the doorstep of Ancelotti.Sometimes last year, concerns were raised about his style of play and goalscoring ability.Ancelloti rose to his defense saying that was not his primary role.A Defensive midfielder himself in his heydays,Ancelloti knew Mikel's game had not been up to par,but chose to protect him from the backlash while hoping for an improvement.Incidentally,he lost patience with him after some shocking displays in the middle of the park. In some games,he had to be embarassingly hauled off at half-time.Mikel is one of our biggest ambassadors but Nigeria deserves a better representation. |
^^^^The signs are ominous for Nigeria if the PDP is allowed to continue in power. |
Fhemmmy:very well. |
@op, The reserves is less than 300 million dollars at present. |
No doubt about it.The PDP rigged votes massively in the SS region as well as the Nothern zones. |
werepeLeri:It is not a case of wanting him to win.Give or take ,Buhari's credibility coupled with his incorruptible image will do the job for him.Nigerians have had enough of the PDP.Your master ,GEJ,in his usual style has been busy bribing just about everyone thinking he could buy himself another term.He is in for the shocker of his life next saturday. |
Thats an innovation.Kudos to JEGA. |
Amazing! |
We shall have to wait and see. |
Ghadaffi will be removed from power eventually,if the air strikes are sustained . |
I m afraid i cant vouch for Nigeria. We dont have the neccesary equipments such as F-16 fighters, stealth B2 bombers etc. |
He was captured by the Quattara militia with some help from the French |
