Politics / Re: Ibori Arrested In Dubai by gbolo2001: 11:14am On May 14, 2010
Personally i feel he deserves the postion he his rite now because of his greed, but let us all stop making a fuss about his predicament cus it could happen to anybody, in Nigeria at least 90% of us would be corrupt or try to benefit financially if we are put in a position of power and that's a fact the average Nigerian is corrupt so all this jubilatting and celebration dont mean twart. from my perspective he his unlucky cus there are far greater thieves who are murderous and evil still walking amongst us here calling demselves Godfather's and wat not, so best we can do is hope someone with a good heart and is unyielding in his/her integrity, honesty and fight for justice is elected to be d prsident which would cause a trickle down effect to the populace, if dis doesnt happen all our speking english here or Wole soyinka's english on TV is a total waste of time, Good example is iwu before he started as inec chairman we were singing praise songs dat d answer had come but see who he turned out to be even OBJ we were happy when he first came in see who he turned out to be, my advice to every one is keep doing wat ur doing if its good, if its bad try to change. so from me to u all stop with ur bullshitting u have potential to be as bad or even worse than dis dude.

You guy's need to relax and stop assuming some sort of government coverup or police cover up, this incident happened last year, the pics are just recently circulating. The blame goes to no one but the evil thieves and the government who refused to fix the road and put up roadlights i have been travelling on that road for a while now and know how bad it is during the day talk less of at night, but to compound it all robbers, ahh. people if armed robbers meet you on that road you can perform any dastardly act especially when shooting in your direction. dont be too quick to judge.
Politics / Re: Fashola Launches Surveillance Helicopters by gbolo2001: 11:19am On Dec 10, 2009
The helicopters are for surveillance and strategic utilisation of security and protection of properties, its not for war and taking out targets from above the ground. crime can be beat easily if there is sufficient information, for example a helicopter is at the scene of a robbery, the on ground team normally just rushes in blind and get both themselves and innocent people killed but in the situation where a helicopter is present it relays the situation to the on ground forces at a safe distance where they can easily strategise and do their job with efficiency. this is just one of many scenerios the helis are usefull. And dont even question the on ground forces they have improveed by a milestone the rate of crime in lagos has dropped drastically since 2007, not like it cant improve , but the are the steps taken to improve the situation.

Politics / Re: All Diasporians Know Nothing About Nigeria, They Make Me Laugh When They Argue. by gbolo2001: 11:44am On Nov 12, 2009
The money that was allocated to the power sector was $16 billion. If you say that only $5 billion was used then you probably have to figure out what happened to the remaining $11 billion. I will not help you on that one.

You talk about steady light in Lagos but was it not recently that some five thousand Lagos residents went protesting the epileptic power supply in Lagos and all over the country?

In Kano alone over 400 industries out of 500 have been closed down leaving over 3 million people jobless in the last 15 years. What can you say about that?

Is it not in Nigeria that doctors perform operations on patients with touch lights?

@ radiant all thsi information is without grounds, do you know one person out of the 5000 that went on protest, do you know anybody that has been operated on with torchlight.
truly most nigerians living outside nigeria dont know jack about what is going on, you say the goverment. what about the government is bad exactly. structure, people e.t.c. there are many issues involved.

i am beggining to understand that most peeps dont know wat dey are talkingbout they just want to talk, when rain pours for hours even developed countries have floods. do they fix road with paper or with money, the lagos badagry express way that is in construction cost about 250 million and it is in constuction, things are being worked on evrtin cannot just dissapear and appearb overnight people are saying flowers are growing but he is not fixing roads. those people are stupid even i can plant flowers if it doesnt grow well i cut it up and plant another one, but roads are a different tin he culd as well do like the ogunstate governor who fixed roads but less than a year most got damaged so wen people say he has tired its because they see the workin progress of wat he is trying to achieve, i can promise u that in two years we would have rail running btw lagos badagry most of you are not just informed. nd besides working on a federal property which he did not collect permission is illegal and could be impeached. find out tins before blabing, you especially ikeyman u r highly ignorant nd u mind is not in the rite setting why dont u direct all your negative comments at your governor so he can improve and we will face ours
Politics / Re: Is Baba Adeboye Too Quiet On Political Issues? by gbolo2001: 4:10pm On Sep 17, 2009
i am angry and ashamed at the comments most of u r making, someone asked dat y doesnt he speak out sometimes, that it most likely would make an impact on the nigerian leaders , why because nigerians are naturally religious people and words of advise coming from spiritual figures usually make an impact, not like the poster sed she wanted him to run for an appointment of any sort. nd for all those fools who happen to be insulting the man tinking they are speaking intelligently or they are free thinkers becus they skooled abroad or are knowlegdeable, u all are as a matter of fact daft.  someone who speaks to millions of peeps dat gives dem hope in a situation dat seems hopeless tell me wat impact has ny of u ever had on another human being dati know of. notin. infact i dont evn know u. nd u sit der typing talking rubbish wit no respect tinkin u r smart, u r a fool, better dont let d wrath of God of befall on you. yes am talking to u, u know urself, if u are an aeithist nobody is fighting u but respect their belief of other by not insult their mentor and spiritual leaders, dat is a smarter way to talk even if u dont agree

Gaming / Re: Sony Changes Playstation 3 Ad After Nigerian Government Complains by gbolo2001: 1:16pm On Sep 09, 2009
@ nuzo

Politics / Re: Governor Fashola Lacks The Will Power To Tame Lagos Agberos by gbolo2001: 1:03pm On Sep 09, 2009
@ naija

i dont tink u have a good nd solid understanding of wat ur talking about, the issue of agbero is far more elevated than u tink, you tink it is a matter of throwing police and army on the roads to round dem up, no, it is a strategic nd step by step method of reducing their number. agbero cannot be removed like dat are we going to drown dem all or thorw dem in fire no it is rehabilitation of this potential labor force dat is to be done, and the foundation is just being laid on ground. its not a months tin its sometin dat takes years to accomplish
