Yes, there is. In air frying, you don't use much oil except for coating what you want to fry and air spray can help you achieve that. In normal frying, you fry it in the oil and it can take up much oil.

You fry your onion first, before you go in with the blended pepper seeds, onion and ginger. Blend with little water.

Thank you for the recipe. I did the same mixing the dry pepper with fresh bell peppers. I think the dry pepper they use is the red one but the one i have is the Mexican chili which isn't red. I guess I will try use the red dry pepper when next but I still have some of the sauce left.
