frozen70:I beg to disagree. Supporting your spouse has nothing to do with who earns more or gender. It is a family and both parties should work on making everything work. Irrespective of who earns more, the family should be cohesive and plan on both incomes based on whatever percentage of contribution is chosen or how they choose to share financial responsibility. On the other aspect, both should help to the best of each other's ability. |
Kobojunkie:Anyone can manipulate the kids to say anything. We both don't know the truth and if you want to keep arguing, good for you. |
Not sure but for my kids, I would think maybe when they get to grades 6 or 9. I think it depends on how matured they are at that time. |
Kobojunkie:Did he kill her? Was there any report of him beating her or just hearsays? Did her pastor not testify she is sick? Was she obligated to remain in the marriage? |
Sanwo-olu should please keep quiet. |
I agree 💯. |
The usual lopsided judgment in Nigeria. Did he murder her, did he force her to remain in the marriage or she kept trying to save face cos of her believes. Thought her pastor who is also a doctor said she had some liver disease? To those who count this as the right justice, for me, it is a judgment against a poor man. |
Pounded yam and ofe akwu made with the remaining can palm kernel from last week's soup.
|
Dinner: Beef and mushroom stroganoff with home made bread and butter.

oluezekiel:When you guys come to visit, you go chop. Might be coming to your town in October. |
Some of the responses I read here are traumatizing. This is one of the reasons our government act the way they do. |
Firebox123:You decided to respond to me so who is telling who? Go and sleep abeg. |
Firebox123:You give your advice and leave mine. |
If it is imported, why aren't they lifting the ban on rice importation? |
greenbrave:Yes it is okay to reach out. You are the one who knows her and how she complements you. |
They should have them in every corridor. |
Breakfast: Madam decided to make carrot cake. I decided to make some vanilla glaze but it was watery.
|
Dinner from last night: Boiled plantain and potato.

The pay in the UK isn't so great. Guess they have a relative low cost of living. |
Na we Wan kill ourselves. The present day government has failed and we are still supporting them. Read up posts on here and you will know we are unserious. |
Mariangeles:Isn't that unnecessary pride. |
haybhi1:What makes it not easy? |
I will tell her that isn’t the money i wanted to give her and immediately do the needful. It's a gift so if right in her presence I make it known I have her the wrong one, there's no reason for her to be angry and if she wants to, I can't help it. |
Some mini cakes for breakfast. I usually take 1 with ice coffee.

Oatmeal fufu with ogbono soup.

borie4u:No be you suppose talk this one. Must everyone that studied geology or geophysics work in oil and gas? Is there no hydro and other fields in Geology? Even in the West, does everybody work in the field of their first degree? The first degree mainly helps you broaden how you reason and that is the fact. In my team at work, we are 10 (6 PhDs, 2 ABDs, and 2 Masters (one has CFA and the other CAMS)). Interestingly, we all are from different fields of life (1 PhD Statistics and CFA, 1 PhD Mathematics and CAMS, 1 PhD Physics, 1 PhD Economics, 1 PhD Neuroscience, 1 PhD Finance and CFA Level 2, 1 ABD Physics, 1 ABD Electrical Engineering, 1 MSc Political Science and CFA, and 1 MSc Statistics and CAMS) and we all are in the financial service. Similar things in my previous organizations/roles. Most importantly, I think what we should preach is the willingness to improve on one's self at all times. |
Ama 1001 times. I believe in loyalty. |
Dinner: Rice and beans.

Helpout12345:Normally, they should give him a copy of the LCA. Like you said, if he doesn't have it, he should request it from his employer. |
I thought in the absence of subsidy, each marketer can sell to whoever s/he pleases. If a marketer imports and decides to sell it to neighboring countries, why tag it smuggling? Are they stealing from the ones government bought to go sell to other countries? There's a need for more context to help understand. |
Am I the one in the wrong in here or this guys are just fooling us. These are thoughts ringing in my head and would appreciate reasonable thoughts on them. What period of time does this subsidy cover? Is it called subsidy because the price is lower on average compared to regular buses? They are big buses and can convey more passengers per trip so that should make their prices a little cheaper. Besides, why compare their price to the regular bus. In addition, these buses are not for profit so the basic idea is that it should be able to cover the cost both fixed and variable and should yield zero economic profit. That said, I think our use of statistics most times is fraudulent as we tend to use it in a way to whip sentiments. |
What's the status of the road from Minna to Abuja? What is the distance and how secured is the axis? That said, I am not sure how many international planes take off and land at the Abuja airport daily to necessitate this. |
