Kelvin247Gold: One advice for men is, never sleep above a night at your in-laws house. That's even when there's an event that made you to visit then or your children are on holidays. Your wife and children can stay with them. This will earn you more respect from them. Go out and hustle. Very warped mentality filled with unnecessary pride. You expect the woman to sleep in yours and advice the men against such. Isn't that double standards? Respecting you as an in-law has nothing to do with whether or not you sleep in their house. |

giftson102: Every HND holder in the banking sector in Nigeria are the weeping Boys.
Theyre the the second class citizens in the banking industry. They constitute over 85% of any bank's staff. They do the bulk of the jobs and are exposed to so much risks, yet they're the least paid.
What happens in the Nigeria banking industry is simply MODERN DAY SLAVERY.
Contract Staffs / DSAs in all the commercial banks are really frustrated. The descrpancy is just unimaginable.
Tellers do the jobs and denied their allowances and bonuses.
Marketers are given unimaginable targets monthly without any tangible benefits. IMAGINE A BANK ASKING MARKETERS TO OPEN OVER 150 ACCOUNT MONTHLY AND A CASH DEPOSIT OF OVER 100 MILLION...?? And if after 3 months you don't deliver, you're thrown out to the street without anything.
This happens even in CBN
No one hears their cries. CBN has turned a blind eye on this complaint and lamentations.
BANKS LIKE ZENITH BANK AND ECO BANK ARE BURIAL GROUNDS FOR CONTRACT STAFFS OR HND HOLDERS.
Zenith Bank will keep you static as a bulk teller for over 20yrs and then throw you out when you get too old and weak. Ecobank will keep you for 6yrs as a teller and throw you out later. ECOBANK REMAINS THE LEAST PAYING COMMERCIAL BANK IN NIGERIA AND OVER 95% OF HER STAFF STRENGTH ARE ALL CONTRACT. Isn't 95% over exaggeration? Besides, I thought they also convert their contact staffs after a while. |

Wokeupandslayed: sorry I’m reading your response to her. Would you advise me to go ahead with my bro Canadian account (he is on work visa ) or my a family friends account here in Nigeria (I would say my uncle on paper) or it really doesn’t matter. my bro is work visa as his wife is schooling in Canada.
I really don’t know what’s best because the responses I’m get is just very conflicting. One told me since he is not a relation I should stay clear. Another told me so far as my bros account is legit it doesn’t matter.
But how do I explain I have relatives abroad. Please can you help. Submit his statement and move on. Why are you giving yourself so much stress? Please, calm down so that people don't read your fears/stress as desperation. He is your brother and he is willing to support you with the deficiency annually. |

If you need assistance funding your account to reflect your deposit, I may be able to help—especially if you are banking with institutions within my reach. Feel free to DM me. Please Wokeupandslayed, don't follow this advice I beg you in the name of whatsoever you hold dear. |

That’s really the only option I have. And I was given time to request an I-20. I didn’t want to use a foreign account but I don’t really have a choice Use your brother's account and be bold to tell the VO he is going to pay the outstanding. I am not sure a VO will bring that up seeing that you have full funding and your I20 will likely indicate family funds. |

OKOATA: I swear I didn't know you already had the idea. Now that you know about YouTube you can even make more than 200 a month. Some people in your niche are making thousands you are talking about this little money.
Like I said better focus on this one and forget this rubbish business center you want to do. I can send you a YouTube link on how to get started on any kind of niche. It's a 24Hrs course and it's amazing. If you are interested I will drop the link..best is to download the course and watch cos it's broken into segments. I work more than 10hrs on faceless everyday and I love what I do too..
Edited: The mathematics niche isn't a good niche at all on YouTube as people aren't really interested in it. You can also check it out yourself. But you can still make researches and do other things like true crime, detective stories etc or other things you love.
Even Mr Beast is a mathematician but had to use compromise and make money otherways. After you make so much from your Faceless then you can now follow your maths dreams. Can you share the link, please? I think it is time to monetize my skills. |

relaxfun: A little back story.
Due to some ugly circumstances, i dropped out of school in 2019 and I've been at home since then, periodically picking up one or two low paying jobs. 2 years ago, I decided to learning a tech skill. I taught myself C++ programming language and I'm currently teaching myself mathematics aggressively, studying for min of 8 hours daily.
For the past two years, I've mostly always been in my room, I can be in our house for more than two weeks, without stepping a foot out of our door due to how engrossed in studying I always am. My goal is to learn C++, DSA , And Math to an undergraduate level then use my skills to apply for scholarships to study abroad, and probably work in a hedge fund company as a quantitative trader in the future. For those who know what leetcode is, i can currently solve most leetcode (hard) problems in less than 40 minutes.
Now, I'll be 24 in August, and my dad is worried that I'm wasting my life away because I've refused to pickup any real job or learn a trade, his worried that I'm already getting old, always reminding me that people my age are already getting married. Now he wants me to leave his house to go look for my own place to stay, and has offered me 7 million naira to go start life else where.
Now I plan to move out of Lagos to PH or Akwa Ibom, then use part of the money to start up a computer business center, where I'll be doing typing, printing, lamination, jamb registration, GCE/WAEC registrations, etc. One of the reasons I chose this is because I've worked in a place like this before and I have experience in how to run such a place. Another reason is that, this business would give me time to also study and sharpen my Math/Programming skills. I plan to rent a shop that is big enough so that I can also be sleeping/living there.
Now I seriously need advicing because this is such a turning point in my life and the next few years is going to make or break me because there is no room for any disastrous bad decision Are Computer Business still a thing in this age and time? More so, why move far away from home? You can try to find a job that isn't too stressful and give you time to study. Since you want to be a Quantitative Trader and you can study well, I will suggest looking into ACCA as a mature student in the mean time. That way, you can earn an accounting degree alongside a professional certification in three years. Lastly, you can ask if he can allow you fix the money while you figure things out. |

Godfreyalfred44: Hello everyone, I just got admitted for fully funded PhD in social work. My interview is next month. I currently work with an NGO, but my plan is to return back and take up a lecturing position at my undergraduate university. Is this okay? Some people are advising me to lie. That I want to take up unrealist higher role at my place of work. Hold unto your truth on how you intend to take a position in your undergraduate university and talk about how your education will make that possible in addition to building new connections/peers you can research/collaborate with at a global level. |

Do we need the duration to be enforced by law? Is the government going to be involved in the payment of the allowances? I would expect companies to give reasonable time for maternity at least 3 months to enable the mother recover. The law they should be concerned about is that companies gives new mothers maternity leave to enable them recover and bond with the child |

His life, his choice. When people use the word help, I find it interesting for multiple reasons. In this case, if those who can help chooses not to leave, will their providing help meet their needs? Rather than gaslight those who are leaving, call on the government to create an enabling environment where they can strive and succeed. |
