Am in support of the scraping of NYSC. It has outlived its usefulness coupled with the killings up in the north. Those advocating for the posting of corpers in their various regions, makes no sense because then the objective of the scheme which is to put you up with other ethnic group different fom yours will then be useless.

The fact that they removed it before the 2011 year budget ended, and on jan 1 when people were still on holidays, showed that the government underestimated Nigerians. They thought that it is business as usual. That the general public has bought what they were all selling; which is Nigeria is broke.

My major anger is the amount they spend on running the government. It is too much!!! They should be the one sacrificing and not Nigerians that are already suffering and managing to survive. Let them cut down on them, use it to repair the refineries and build the new ones. After that they can now remove the subsidy. Full stop.

I don't understand what is his grievance. Lagos state has the highest population when compared with other states coupled with the fact that it is the economic hub of Nigeria. They are the ones that are most affected. Thats why it is as if they are carrying the whole subsidy wahala on their head.

As some people here have also pointed out, it is a peaceful protest and hasn't turned violence. Don't people have the right again to voice their opinion again? So what does he want fashola to do?

Please they should reverse back to N65 per liter. If they want to raise money for infrastructure development, let them cut down the size of government and also cut the salaries and allowances by %50. Anything less than that is unacceptable.
