If you are married, or if you aspire to be married, the Lord calls you to be submissive to your husband. Your husband is called by God to lead your family. As his wife, God has placed you under his authority and has given him the responsibility of leading and caring for you. He must answer for how he leads and cares for you before God. A Good Wife is God-conscious
A God-conscious woman recognizes that there is a creator of the universe who has authority over every aspect of her life. She follows his guidelines and respects his will for her life.

A good wife honors, loves and cherishes God because she knows that he first loved her. As she knows him, she desires to please him in all things by being a doer of the word and not just a hearer. Her prayers are powerful as she faithfully prays for those around her and always gives thanks to the Lord for everything (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).

She respects her husband
Respect is an important part of a marriage because it helps your husband feel confident in who he is and in his role as the head of your household. Respect him for the leadership that he provides, for his parents, for his friends and their opinions, for his dreams, for his authority, for the decisions that he makes, and even for the time that you spend with him.

You can show respect to your husband by:

Listening to what he says without interrupting or becoming distracted
Acknowledging his accomplishments (i.e., thanking him when he fixes something)
Letting him know that you need help around the house so that you don’t burn out
Giving a word of encouragement when he needs it most

She serves the Lord
God’s Word has much to say about women who are preparing to become wives and mothers. The qualities of a good wife in the Bible exist both within the pages of Titus and Proverbs, where we learn what we can expect from faithful women in God’s Kingdom. Women who are exemplary often possess many characteristics, like a godly trustworthiness and generosity. They also manage resources wisely, have a good reputation within their community, and are kind to others.

I was brutally beaten by my fiance that i lived with tonight(he met my people and I have met his too)
This is the second time this is happening within a space of six (6) month and I have decided to end our 4 years relationship which started when I was in my penultimate year at the University.

I am staying with him not because I wasn't earning enough to get an accommodation, but because I wanted us to contribute resources and start a family.

I have never been a burden on him as I constantly ensure I bought enough foodstuff at the end of each month so he pays just utility bills.

I'm a professional in my field and I earn slightly above #100,000 per month. I need a place on the mainland but close to the island that i can stay for a while pending when I will be able to get my permanent accommodation. I am open to paying monthly rent starting from end of this month.

I can't spend another night with this monster. I don't know how to face people tomorrow about how I come about a swollen face. The sound of my cry begging him not to kill me still echoes in my head.

A baby was found abandoned somewhere in Amukpe community in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State on Thursday, October 7, Reports.

According to a Facebook page, Oghara Voice, Who Quickly Notified On Facebook, Said the baby is currently at the police clinic in the community.

"A child was abandoned somewhere in Amukpe yesterday. A Good Samaritan saw the baby and informed police.The little baby now is at the police clinic. The baby's pictures are attached here incase someone can identify the mother." the post reads.

Gaining admission into any tertiary institution comes with much expectations from an undergraduate student and his/her sponsors. Expectations like graduating with a first class honours degree, coming out as the best graduating student of the Department/Faculty/Institution etc.

As the journey begins, the work begins to achieve the goal of being the best in the academic pursuit, but in some cases the student can start realizing that he/she isn't really up to the task of being a first class student after getting to a certain level with different challenges which can lead to the student settling for whatever comes his/her way.

So, at what level in the University did you realize that you won't be graduating with a first class degree?

Before I entered the university, I had already made up my mind that I wouldn't graduate with a FirstClass as I wouldn't put in the required reading effort. PS: I finished every semester and year with a CGPA of over a 4pt. Just didn't want it.
