merahki: I won’t see a market for a long while sha. I just wanted a description. Someone else has shown me. Thank you. no p. Dissolve in a little red oil before adding to the soup, so that it doesn't form lumps. It's easier and faster. I use it for onugbu too |

Righteousness89: My Regret today is not Following JESUS as I should have in my Younger days.. Especially in my University days..
But I Thank GOD for Mercy! I guess alot of people made that mistake, we just have to learn not to let it define us. Besides Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. I'm glad that you found him, he is awesome. |

Nairaland General › What Do You Regret The Most by Genea(op): 10:53pm On May 25, 2020 |
It's past 10pm and I can't sleep, not because I watched a horror movie nor because I have done something bad. I can't sleep because I am reminiscing on my past life. We have been told to take our lesson from the past and look forward, and yes that is what I want to do today.
Happiness is free but how many of us let go of our current pain to enjoy the moment? I currently just went down Memory Lane and played some old genuine music on my whatsapp story, songs from bands like FUN and Westlife and Replay by Iyaz. I thought to myself, I really did have beautiful moments in the past but I never enjoyed them because I thought the future was better, I was in a hurry to grow up that I forgot to calm myself, breathe and enjoy everyday as it came.
I am older now, in my mid twenties and I have decided to take each day as it comes. Forge my own happiness, love myself the more, make friends, visit exciting places and most of all spend time with family.
I do not want to look back in the next 20years and feel the regret I feel now.
So what do you regret the most? |

A week after my wedding, I decided to cook my first soup. I chose Egusi, I thought well it shouldn't be that bad. First mistake was to wash the Egusi before grinding. Second I grounded it wet. I became confused after that. I poured the Egusi inside a well bleached red oil. To end the story, I had black Egusi in my pot. Hubby just came in and said let's go and eat out. |
Family › Re: For How Long Should An Engagement Ring Be Worn? by Genea(f): 6:06am On Mar 24, 2020 |
HelloHolla: Good evening everyone, I've been a guest for quite a while, created an account cause I need advice from the audience.
How long should an engagement ring be worn for? I've been engaged since last year May (dated for 4yrs), my Fiance hasn't talked about proceeding to do introduction or marriage, it's like he just proposed to me because he felt like.
This man has refused to be on his own, his Grandma and 5 siblings (younger and older) live with him and he takes responsibility for them all, two of his siblings living with him also have their partners living with them. It's only a 3 bedroom flat. I feel like quitting the whole thing cause I don't feel comfortable going to his house. When I do, he wants me to cook for everyone which gets me strained.
With the look of things, he has no plans of moving out for them cause he rented the apartment, neither do they have intentions of moving out on their own, it's more like a family house. My period is two days late and I'm scared to the marrow.
Please advice me on what to do cause I can't live with him if they're still there after marriage, he's not even talking about marriage, I've not asked him yet so as not to sound desperate but why propose if you don't have plans of doing the next thing after a max of 6 months?
He's 31 and I'm 24
Thanks. From a fellow lady to another lady. Please leave that man, even if you are pregnant, leave that man. I'm married and I can tell you that responsibilities double when you are married. If now his hands are filled with responsibilities, imagine how burdened he would feel when he marries you. Also his family would hate you because he would be forced to share the money he gives them for upkeep with you. Infact couples quarrel when they stay alone talk more of when a third party is living with them. I stay in a 2 bedroom with hubby but I can tell you that I refused furnishing the second one so that no body will come and stay with us. Trust me, you really don't want to be entangled in that marriage, you'd lose your sanity. You deserve better, so run now before its too late. Infact it's better to be single than be in that setting, you could become depressed and hate everyone. Please take heed. |

Opeyemiebun: Thanks alot, I believe you know how these extended families behave .. I will let her have hers but I also desperately need one. There is this feelings that come with my job when a client sees you dropping from a bike or Uber. A job they should offer you for 1m,they will look down on you and negotiate you for 400k. Aside the economy side of it, Families will believe we are so much in money and the responsibilities will increase Get the car. When you have a client appointment, you could drive the car that day. Besides, she needs it more and the car is for the family. When you make a statement like her or my money, you guys are gradually breaking your home. |
