Good evening mummies! My first time here grin baby dust to everyone.
For the first time I’m trying to track my ovulation with the predicte ovulation kit and the first thing I’ll say is that thing is expensive I bought a pack of 5 strips for 2900 Naira, even pregnancy strips aren’t that expensive (except clear blue). I started testing on day 10 like 4 days ago and I just see one faint line on the strip, no second line. My cycle is pretty regular but last month I had an unusual 35 day stint that made me miscalculate my ovulation.
I just want to know if that’s how predicte is , just one line no second line . Thank you very much in advance .
you can order from Amazon UK in bulk and I cans deliver to you in Nigeria
RomanceRe: I Told My Fiancé That He Can't Stay In My Duplex, He Changed by Genea(f): 3:29pm On Apr 26, 2021
Grace456:
Help Me Before I Make The Greatest Mistake Pls

I'm a single mother in my early thirties, my daughter is just 2year old and the father is not ready to marry me or take any responsibility on her but still hiding me and his secret wife and won't let me go but I have decided to leave becos he's no adding any value to my life n my daughter's either.

Fast forward
I met a guy online who claims he lives in the US and I discovered I like him since I've met him and now he said we should settle down and marry. I own a duplex in a choice area in Lagos, completed though still small loan I'm paying on it. I agreed to settle down with him but since I told him he can't stay in my house that he needs to get a house, he started acting funny.

The second one, I asked him to show me proof of ID or his work ID, for me to be sure he's who claimed he is, he changed it for me. I tried to let him know that I'm just trying to be careful, don't want to fall prey again but he won't listen to me. He stopped calling and when I call him, he will return my call after like 5hours.

Pls advise me, is it polite for a man to marry and come stay in a woman's house because he said he will soon travel back? This is someone I like to support to get another apartment somewhere else but I haven't told him that. He has really changed in days.

No insult pls...pls ignore rather than insult me pls.
you have a very sharp mouth, nawa, why must you let them know you have a duplex? Must you give them all the information? Aaahn aaah no wonder you are a single mom, you sound so naive... Stop making it look like you are independent, if not them go run you street big time. You don’t want to end up like the naive women I know, the men ended up having the properties in their name, these women also took loans for them, yet they left them and went after slay queens. Except you want to be lonely and broken in finance and emotional, mind the info you give out. Jeeeez...

CareerRe: Never Date At Your Place Of Work by Genea(f): 3:48pm On Apr 25, 2021
uc4uandc:
NEVER DATE AT WORK PLACE
(A personal experience)

It was early August of 2020 when I got an invitation text to come for an interview in newly established entertainment industry here in the East.

We numbered over 300 who came for the interview and after much screening, 62 staff were selected.

The daily training was intense and interesting too because of the Manager we had, he was so detailed and funny also.

Amongst trainees were beautiful ladies of all shapes and sizes and intelligence.
The first day I saw my girlfriend, I didn't feel anything, she's very young and beautiful and opposing too (one of my likes about women). I realize she's a little opinionated, hence she got my attention.

We were all given appointment letter to our various positions. Mine was what I applied for but my gf didn't get hers, she was rather given something else. She came to me to complain since we are now friends and I told her that maybe the reason why she wasn't given the position she wanted was because she's short (Sarcastically, but I meant it)

She got angry and opposed me (I have a thing for women who oppose actions, especially when they have reasons). I apologized and we got along....... Boom we started dating.

#FASTFOWARD#
The next month, I got promoted to one of the managers, everyone was happy for me.
I have been a senior staff for like 8 months now and I must tell you that it has been a terrible experience.

My girlfriend is choking the hell out of me at work. She's very lukewarm in terms of carrying out her duties, when I confront her to do her work, she will tell me that I'm being too harsh on her. How can you litter your department like this and go home? she will tell me she's tired, I will have to assign someone else to do it, but it's her duty.

This keeps happening all the time, if I shout at her at work (when she gets on my nerves) she won't talk to me again for weeks and she won't greet me at work. If I ask her questions about sales, she won't reply me.

The most recent one was her and her colleagues misbehaving and I queried them, others replied my query, but she didn't. I wanted to let go, but one of the senior staff asked about her own reply to the query. I was forced to surcharge her N5,000 since she didn't reply, that means she's guilty.
After I served her the letter, she got angry and said "all the managers in this company are stupid" she said this to my face. Something she can't say to other managers.

Mehn! I was so furious and I was walking away when she threw her book at me, in front of other junior staff. OMG!...... I just walked away.
She's still keeping malice (her specialty) with me. I am not happy with her either.

I keep avoiding her so as not to get into more of what we are. But the work is suffering because of her dereliction.
Currently, I don't know how to tell her I don't want to be with her again, but I love her.

My advice
Never date at your place of work especially when you are bossing over her!
she is immature, quit the useless relationship. This one no be wife, imagine the disrespect na. Also report yourself to HR before she claims you raped her

Op, you are naive and not tech savvy.

All phones, I repeat, all phones can block numbers.

If the phone doesn't have the function, use the network option. Have you heard of "CALL BARRING"huh

My neighbor once had a cheating girl who used a simple phone and if that girl don go kurukere waka, she will bar the niqqa's call. Call from now till tomorrow, na " number busy" he de see.

One day he tried to call her with my phone while "busying" his line, mine went true shaparly.

For the phone you collected, you acted childishly. You for count your losses and move.

If I be that girl and want that phone back, na tp come give you sob story, form begging and collect am come start to act funny.
Although I don’t collect gifts back, I don’t think he did wrong in collecting it back.. I guess it’s cause of that mentality, she thought she could scam him and left...

What you are battling with is nothing but superiority Complex.... In your mind/ heart you have lined up how a man should be... A man should not wash his own cloth, a man should not do chores etc... That is just nonsense...Someone that altered her simple life style of living in an apartment and foots majority of the bills just to meet your demand half way, you were not even grateful... For your information, A lot of married men do chores.... If anyone on social media tells you otherwise, he is lying to u...

Besides, You know very well that covid-19 disrupted a lot of things around the world including Nigeria.. and you should know the average time frame that one would look for job around the world has doubled because of the pandemic... Take it easy with yourself... Be a little humble and focus on your goal... Though I simply wish that Lady saw a better man who will love her in return instead of u... because your Ego is higher than Kilimanjaro...
meeeehn you are spot on... the guy is lazy....

Sir the word privacy is an illusion in this present age.
-Google is tracking you
-True caller is harvesting your details.
-DSS knows your location just by dialling your number
-Telecom companies are recording all your calls.
A taxify driver was robbed lasted year in my state. The police downloaded all their phone convo up to 2 months back and tracked the robbers to nasarawa. True life story.
There is no privacy anywhere in the world. As long as everyone does not have access to your information there is no problem
it is an illusion in Nigeria, not the world

What if the Microbiology starts giving you millions annually few years from now? Would you come back to tell us?
for the fact that I make my money legally, I can tell you that anytime any day, I can state the steps I took to make the amount I made today. I am not scared of anyone's success, so I am an open book, go to my IG page, @itz_orianna, you will see me promoting my friends and their hustles.. If I have a way of making money easily, I invite them, we cash in the one we can and then move on.

So to answer your question, if later in the future I start cashing out from microbiology, trust me I'd tell you before you even ask.. I am one who wants to have a long table to accommodate people than build walls to bar people.

With the pandemic outbreak I see a bright future for microbiologist or may be nano biologist. Cause research centers will sprung out and Vaccine and immunity institute will start emerging. Sop there is light at the end for microbiologist.

Also statistics and data analysis will be a lucrative one too since the world is going data with the introduction of 5G, etc
there is always a prospect but not in Nigeria because truth be told, Nigeria attitude to research is poor. Trust me, a lot of practicising mobs would tell you same thing I am telling you

Who told you there is no future in it. There is no job without a future. I have friends who studied the course and they are doing excellently well.
Microbiology is not as lucrative like Pharmacy but funnily they have vast opportunities to work in more firms or industries even without connection or godfatherism than pharmacy.

A microbiologist can work in a hospital, laboratory, research institute, pharmaceutical companies, agencies like Ncdc, Naca, Ndlea, Ministry of health or any health sector..etc, for those that are specialised under the medical aspect of Microbiology.

We have the food microbiologist that can work in companies such as Nigeria breweries, Guiness, agricultural firms, nafdac, standard organisation of Nigeria, etc, even in borders and seaports (customs, Port Heath authority), anywhere where food, drink, toiletries or drugs is being produced or processed, etc.

There is also the environmental microbiologist that works in oil, gas and petroleum companies. These ones controls detect and monitors oil spillage in the environment. Many work with govt agencies such as Nesrea, nosdra, etc.
Microbiologists are in most companies in and outside the shore of the country because of the diversity of their course. So pls do not say there is no future in it. Every course has a future.
I laugh and smile when I read this, I am a microbiologist with a good result from UNILAG, don’t explain to me what I am experiencing firsthand.

I just finished secondary school with a good waec result, I just want to hear from a Nigerian point of view. I have Pharmacy and Architecture on my mind, please house which one is more lucrative in Nigeria?
Pharmacy is good , with architecture, you need mad connections. My advice, with the way Naija is going, check job websites and see which jobs are lucrative and the pay range too. Secondly, no matter the course you are studying, don’t be like me, get a side hustle and also make sure you come out with nothing less than a 2:1, I came out with a 2:1 but no hustling skills and you know the rest.

Well with salaries being stagnant and inflation rising, I have had to open my own business.

In summary, chose a course that would make sense if you decide to japa. Most importantly, have a side hustle in school. If it’s to print logos on shirts, please do, grow your customer base and even after you finish school, you’d be your own boss while looking for a job. You can learn barbing or hairdressing skills for survival too
