You must understand that past military juntas relied on consent to remain in power and always justified seizing power from fellow military juntas on the basis of lack of popularity of the ousted regime among the people.

There's no way we can have anything dictatorship today because that will require tearing up the constitution and drawing up Admiralty laws that are alien to civilian life.

Any coup will not only be disastrous to Nigeria's continued existence but to those who ochestrted it.

Countries have been willing to recognise a Palestinian state since 1948. For goodness sake it was the UN/British that decided to partition the land and give one side to Israel and the other to the Arabs. It was the Arabs who have been rejecting the recognition of their own state, not the international communities. For instance, Jordan held the West Bank until 1967 and never recognised the Palestinian state, same with Egypt who never recognised the Palestinian state even though they held Gaza up till 1967. So two Supposedly Arab countries held the entire Palestine and never for once recognised it as a state. Doesn't that tell you something?

So when uninformed people like yourself say that Israel have been holding the Palestinians suppressed since 1948, they forget that from 1948 to 1967 ( that's 19 years) Palestine was in the hands of Arabs. So who was suppressing who?
