Goodvibes007: As a Yoruba man, I dont care about how you govern yourself in the east. We dont poke nose into your affairs.
Justice Kekere Ekun was doing her job. We are not related in any way, shape or form.
Ps: The man that started the bill is from Abia state is i.e. the Deputy speaker.
An interesting observation is that all igbos including those in Labour, APC and PDP are all supporting the useless bill. Reason being that, it gives them a chance and tbe legal backing tk expand and take over the minorities in the South South. you Yorubas are hypocrites! When a LGA chairman honoured a boy who did well in weac/jamb you all wanted to have his head for it because the boy was Igbo, you people have made it known that you want Igbos out of your states, you change the street named after igbo people to yours etc.. all these are tribalistic behaviours which you openly support. But now a governor has chosen to host falcon players and staffs from his Imo state and all of a sudden you now see that tribalism is bad and should be shunned. Na hypocrisy go Kill Yoruba people. And what's wrong with S.E massively voting for Peter Obi in the 2023 general elections? He was and still remains the better candidate by far, do you expect the S.E to vote for a calamity when there's a better alternative available? You're complaining about the support and voting turnout Obi enjoyed from S.E and framing it as tribalism but deep down you wish that Yoruba states would do the same for Tinubu — and he can't get such landslide victory because everyone, even his supporters know he was and still is a calamity! S.E massively voted for Obasanjo twice, Ojukwu couldn't the SE zone when he contested against Yar'Adua who beat him in SE so kindly shut the hell up! |

Racoon: This reminds one of the "Damman miracle" fame of the then Golden Eagles during the U-21 World Cup in Saudi Arabia against the USSR and the indelible semi-final and final match of the Atlanta 1996 between Nigeria versus the dreaded Brazil and Argentina respectively.
These historic come backs are indeed etched in history books. They are all classical cases of 'it is not over yet until it over" and "when there is a will, then there is a way."
Many hearty congratulations Super Falcons. 3 goals within 22 mins is a big feat especially when playing a final game against a hostile host nation. I don't know about U21 world cup but I remember the Atlanta Olympics pretty well. That game against Brazil was pure miracle, from 2 goals down to level it and win it in the extra time. The Argentina game though... We didn't watch the first half and majority of the second as light no det but they brought the light immediately Nigeria scored that winning goal . |

Rapmoney: Don't just sit in that location you are and type things you know nothing about. Oga, travel make you see. Just because agents in your location charge 10% fee does not mean it is like that in major cities across the country. Again, travel and see.
For your information, I have been in the business of property management before, and I have been paying for accommodation since 2007. Don't think you are talking to a kid. Oya Methuselah, which location do they charge you 150 agent fee for a rent of 300k? |
Properties › Re: This Could Be That House Agent That Is Trying To Rip You Off by GeneralOuki: 4:06pm On Jul 28, 2025 |
AntiChristian: This one na hell fire he come from!
Why is the house rent cheaper than the extra fees?
You pay 450k extra to rent N300k house?
Another definition of Gbese?
Government should regulate this a little bit! The Agent has nothing to do with those additional fees. That's all on the landlord. You people are blaming the wrong person here. |
Properties › Re: This Could Be That House Agent That Is Trying To Rip You Off by GeneralOuki: 4:04pm On Jul 28, 2025 |
Rapmoney: You are charging N150,000 as agent fee for a one room apartment. Doesn't the client have family to feed? Or should he or she used all their resources for accommodation?
E be like say you be house agent ooo. Agent fee 150k for a rent to 300k? That's impossible!! No agent will ever charge you that amount, it's usually 10% of the rent fee. And those other changes are not going into the pocket of the Agent, that's for the landlord . Blame landlord for exorbitant fees, it has nothing to do with Agent fee which is always fixed on the 10 percent. E be like say most of Una never rent house before |
Properties › Re: This Could Be That House Agent That Is Trying To Rip You Off by GeneralOuki: 4:01pm On Jul 28, 2025 |
Rapmoney: Believe it or not, most of these greedy house agents who have made under trees and roadside their offices, live in terrible apartments like the one in the photo. These greedy folks cannot afford to pay for same apartments they are trying to rip you off with.
They will tell you: Agent fee is N150,000 Caution fee is N100,000 Management fee is N100,000 Agreement fee is N100,000 Inspection fee is N10,000 House rent is N300,000
Now, imagine a prospective tenant paying you N150,000 just for taking him/her to see a house that neither belong to you nor your papa. You expect the prospective tenant to pay unnecessary fees which when put together, is even greater that the actual rent for the house.
The way these guys extort people searching for accommodation is something else...follow them to their apartments, you will throw up! No agent will charge you 150k for a rent if 300k. Agent fees are 10% of the rent amount. |

Amotolongbo: I could have passed to B but I don’t trust the referee, he could intercept the killer pass. The ref looks like Howard Webb and the opponent’s jersey looks like that of Manchester United.
I will pass to C so that he can drive and square play to B. All options are good, it just depends on how you want to progress the ball. Either go to B which will be a more pragmatic approach or B to put pressure on the defence, and depending on how good his hold up play is he can bring both the winger and midfield into play, or you go wide to C, the best option who will drive the ball forward square it into the box. A is good if you want to protect the lead and keep possession, B is good if you want to break press and C is just attack. |

If you call them igbo people, most will correct you that they are anioma not igbo. Lol... I don't think you know what you're talking about, I don't even think you've actually lived in these places you mentioned and interact with the people there. How can someone say they are Anioma and not Igbo? It doesn't make sense because the very name " Anioma" is an igbo word . Anioma is not an ethnicity, it's the name of that particular area. Its like someone saying they're eti osa person and not Yoruba. My former boss in Lagos is from Anioma and not only does he speak to me in ìgbo language, he makes sure to remind me that we're brothers admonish me for one thing or the other... He's a very difficult man to please. I have lived in Onicha around that Awada and worked with the Gtbank close to head bridge, and used to spend holidays and some weekend at my colleagues place in Asaba and I can tell you this people are Igbo and don't even deny it. It's funny how outsiders will claim that Anioma is not igbo when it's a matter of igbo unity, but then turn around to call Nzeogu an ìgbo man when they want to blame Igbos for the coup. It's mischievous really, especially considering the fact that the Nigerian army took revenge on the Asaba people by massacring every able bodied male they could lay their hands on during the war all just because if their ethnicity. And also all their native names are igbo, their language is igbo language, and their culture and traditions are igbo, and right now These people are clamouring to be reunited with their kins across the Niger and become one but some people are here trying to show discord among two brothers by telling them who they are and aren't. |

Politics › Re: 6th South East State: Over 97 Senators Back Anioma by GeneralOuki: 8:15pm On Jul 21, 2025 |
ElevationD: Anioma is the most reasonable state to be added yo the SE. Certain persons over the years have allowed political sentiments to be loud their senses of reasoning. They have become so confused and ended up rejecting their blood and cultural identity of being Igbo people. Whether you choose to call yourself Ibo or Igbo, you are an Igbo person. If you choose to align with the strange political thoughts of being descendants of Nupe or Benin people, that’s your problem to figure out. The fact of the matter is that as long as you are from Delta north, you are by blood an Igbo person.
Boundary creations led to dividing Akoko Edo people between Edo and Ondo states. Their identity was not taken as they all relate as one. Boundary creation split Egbema people between Imo and Rivers states. Their identities remain the same. The same language, the same people. The same in other areas of the nation. One wonders why certain persons continue to live in illusion, thinking that Anioma state, a move which was started too many years ago, will not happen. All we are waiting for is the amendment of the constitution in December and then Anioma state will come alive finally. It will become the sixth state of the SE. It makes more sense than creating Adada, etc, out of the already existing states. Since we have Brother’s across the Niger in Delta north, it makes better sense to bring them all home. Let Emeka be Emeka and not pretend to be Osawaru, etc. Even the great citizens of Delta South and Central call those of Delta North Igbo people. So why all the political Wayo? Beautiful said. |
