Secondly, my documents, certificates, bear Chukwuma but my account name has it as Chuma. But my surname and middle name tally perfectly will this be a problem?

justwise: I sincerely hope that your plan A works out, its possible but not guaranteed, with financial back up you will always bounce back whatever happens. Work on your plan A but don't invest all your time and money on it. When you get here and see how things are you can always change your plan.
Thanks a lot bro. I know nothing is guaranteed. With hard work, determination and a teeny weeny bit of luck, anything is possible.

At least I choose a reputable school or so they tell me.

justwise: MK is a nice city and I'm sure that you will definitely see Nigerian shop or restaurant in the city. You can as well travel just 20mins to Luton where you can buy or eat any Nigerian food you want.

Plagiarism is a serious issue in the UK, there is no excuse for committing such an academic offence, almost all the schools uses Turnitin now to check against plagiarism but that shouldn't worry you because referring and citing your work gives it a lot of credit.

You will meet a lot of Nigerians in your school and Nigerian churches, so it's more like home away from home.

The two biggest problem for any Nigerian coming to the UK to study are: Money and life after graduation, lack of plan about those two will send you into chronic depression which will make your study life in the UK a living hell. If you prepared very well before coming then you got nothing to worry about, you will enjoy every moment of your stay here.
Money is covered very well.

Life after graduation, this is the plan I have. To basically start applying once I get to the Uk with my degree in view to all the countries in the world. Attend mock interviews and assessment centres organised by the school.

And most importantly be good at the subsea engineering that I am going to study. Does that suffice as a good plan?

I will really appreciate any piece of advice you have to offer with regards to life after graduation

Christianity EtcWhen We Die! by GeneralShepherd(op):
I am sure no one reading this post lived in King Jaja of Opobo's era,nor did anyone of us reading this hear a live speech from Lord Lugard. The truth of the matter is we have no memory of our consciousness when these events happened.

So is this what will happen when we die? We fade into oblivion? Into nothingness? Like we were never here.

It is easy to deal with idea of not existing during the world war,or holocaust or any event before our date of birth, but how does one deal with the idea of fading away?

Is it remotely possible that our consciousness might survive our earthly bodies when we die? Is a belief in an afterlife just a mere fantasy?

My 28th day is today, also paid my tuition gotten my tb certificate. I just don't know why I'm scared of going to the UK now.

Did anyone have cold feet before the msc? The challenge ahead of me seems daunting! No plagiarism? We virtually copied and pasted our assignments in Nigeria.

No family? No old friend? No Nigerian food? Racism? Infact I barely slept last night. Think I had a panic attack!

Justwise, did you have any of these feelings before leaving for the uk?

SpikeC how are you coping?

princefunmi: Did I read this sentence wrong.

Were did he get the electric current he used the first time if no one had learnt to produce electric current
There were batteries then which he used as source of electric current.

Read the second bold part carefully he was the first person to produce electric current BY MOVING A CONDUCTOR THROUGH A MAGNETIC Field

This is entirely different from being the first person to produce electric current!

He was the first person to generate electricity via magnetic induction.

If.God has always existed why is it impossible for the universe to always exist?

PoliticsRe: The BAD IMAGE Of Nigeria Is Caused By The Way Nigerians Present Nigeria by GeneralShepherd(m): 8:23am On Aug 28, 2014
We Nigerians love living in self-denial,

Remind me of what happened at the immigration recruitment exercise? How many people died? What does it say about unemployment I'm Nigeria?

How many Nigerians have access to pipe borne water?

We all talking about BOKO HARAM in the aspect of security because they have overshadowed armed robbers and have stolen the headlines. Armed robbers still maim and kill Nigerians everyday!

What of the Nigerian police force? Stray bullets anyone?illegal arrests? Torture?

Mr. Op you can deceive foreigners all you want but that doesn't mean you will lie to yourself.

Nigeria is a fvcked up country

Jesus christ if you combine that with the number going to US, Canada, Russia, Australia, Singapore and even China. Then you'll see why it's hear breaking.

HealthRe: N1.9 Bn ‘ebola Fund’ Will Be Used For Cars, Others - Health Minister by GeneralShepherd(m): 1:51pm On Aug 27, 2014
Sincere9gerian: What is wrong with this minister of health? Why not use the funds to set up world class isolation centres with well trained staff for hemorrhagic diseases or other highly infectious deadly diseases in select existing FG tertiary hospitals? Why not use part of the funds to support research on ebola and other hemorrhagic diseases? What about procurement of adequate barrier nursing tools and PPE in the existing in the hospitals? This minister should better get his acts together.

I guess the minister made this pronouncement because he feels the current outbreak of ebola has been effectively contained, but while that maybe true, we should begin now to prepare for the next outbreak of ebola, other hemorrhagic diseases or any other highly infectious and deadly disease. We should be proactive for once.

alqaeda: Just proves that the siege and bombings can never break the will of a determined people. Israel has been defeated. All their targets from the beginning were never achieved. Stopping of rockets was never and will never be achieved. Destroying of tunnels was not achieved. Continuing with the siege not achieved. So what have they achieved. Pikin wey say him mama no go sleep, him ma no go sleep. You want to live in peace but don't want others to. You want to kill other children but don't want yours killed. It's not possible. Congrats to the Palestinians.
