spikesC: Before you leave? I thought you're already in the UKNooo Na Friday,I had to work this month bro. |
The best gift I will give my unborn kids is to make sure they an Eu or a US passport. This country is a failed state. For all those shouting Nigeria this Nigeria that. When was the last time pipeborn water flowed through the pipes in your house? When was the last time, you had an emergency and am ambulance attended to you? Even as a foreign student in the UK, if you have an emergency, the appropriate help will be dispatched to your location. Mtn alone were virtually trolling me with text messages in Nigeria after I had called severally for them to stop to no avail Nigeria is a joke abeg. |
I'm crying oo. I can't continue with this ridiculous exchange rate by gtb Mastercard. Exchange rate officially is 269 but gtb charged me 274 today. Please someone help me before they run me down! SpikesC please where can I change all my maintenance fee before I leave? |
majekdom2: oh , you dont ... it is not my level of satisfaction . I am aiming higher seeking something better .... but I dont have to run..and if everyone run, who will be left. my job can take me anywhere in the world.... after 2 years of being mentored.... I go for trainings already, am just one plus years gone. I don't have to run to somewhere where I would have to lick someone's a*rse to make a living. How many Europeans, Americans or Asians do multinational oil companies send for training in Nigeria? Ogbeni, you are smart but your arguments wack. Hope to see you at Nlng assessment centre |
zendy: There was this Igbo guy I met in London last year. He is a German citizen. He told me that he first went to Germany on 3 months tourist Visa but decided to stay back and make something of his life. He told me that the day his Visa expired was like entering a prison. For the next 6 months,he only saw the outside world from the balcony. He dared not come downstairs incase he ran into the Police who are fond of saying "Ausviz Bitte" or "papers please". He went through hell, had to learn the language . He was later caught working illegally and when they took him to the Nigerian embassy to get papers to deport him,he denied being Nigerian. They later beat him up and released him but restricted his movement. They later gave him some sort of temporary stay and today,he is a German citizen. Anything is possible, but life isn't plane sailing for the illegal immigrant. This story sounds foolish, cos he cannot deny being Nigerian. Why do you think there are records? Fingerprints, pictures and all? |
Make I go learn hausa, buy small gun and go and surrender. Mark my words very soon ex- Bokoharam will be sent to the USA and the UK to study counter-insurgency. |
nkpommpko: you people seem to forget that tb is the owner of the structure and foriegn nationals are involved, and south africa for that matter if we don't value for life in nigeria, south will pretend they do. Let watch and see.Nigeria is too religious for anyone to prosecute tb joshua. |
Well it will never happen case closed |
Anything but pdp is fine,we've tried pdp since 1999 no hope! But that anything should not include apc, because they all one and the same. |

Shameless country! After some people will say Nigeria is a great country |
kelvin4jesu: The last time I checked most Nigerians here are private foreign investors, so fallacy is not needed here.I know what I know |
eelvismd: What is the motivation for such?Foolish argument. Reasons of getting a degree from the west is numerous. 1. No plagiarism, they strive to teach you to be original and hardworking No ASUU strike, should I continue? |
kelvin4jesu: Nigerians working in uae top oil companyI have a friend that us an associate engineer at Mcdermott. Mcdermott is a subsea systems design company from pipelines,to risers,Christmas tree, jumpers etc |
emteecve: My fellow Imperial student. hope 2 c u dereUna be big people |
frostmate: That's great. You might not need come to the UAE and start applying. Like I mentioned in my previous post start applying right from there, there are oil and gas companies.....try the ones in Abu Dhabi - adnoc, adco, gasco, and the others. Thanks alot |
Yungmilio2: are you planing to complete ur studies in UAE or?Nooo I'm thinking ahead for jobs after graduation. Of course I'm using my Nigerian passport. |
frostmate: Hi ....you can start by applying for jobs right from the UK. Do you have working experience? If yes then that is a plus.I have work experience as an IT professional in a oil and gas firm, then as an electrical engineer in a manufacturing firm. Now I'm studying subsea engineering with concentration in pipeline design and asset risk management. |
Yungmilio2: getting a Dubai visa is damn easy compare to you getting admitted in a Federal Uni in NigeriaI'm studying subsea engineering at a prestigious school in the UK. If I wish to emigrate to UAE how do I go about it? |
gcey2k: How do u mean Sir?Go and study msc petroleum engineering in university of Houston and you.will get a well paying job outside Nigeria. In that way you won't need to dobyour nysc program. |
lagcity: aaahh! You think I am joking? Atheist? They gonna kill you! In Nigeria, it is better to believe in Guru Maharaji than open your mouth and say there is no God at all. If you are gay, guys might not talk to you but some girls would still be friends with you. If you are atheist, nobody will come near you, even other atheists wont come near you for fear of exposure. That is a lie |
bumstar1: Imperial College LondonShun sir/ tuale madam at the top. First class people! Jesos. I am kinda jealous. Congratulations. Your visa must show no be teleperformance go poor sand sand for your garri |
IntroVAT: Hello all...Royal air maroc |

bumstar1: Last time I went to TP, I heard people that applied on the 1st had started getting their visas.Which school are you going to? |
phreakabit: Only reason America isn't selling those mentioned weapons to Nigeria is to weaken the army enabling BH become an adversary of equal might and capability thereby fasttracking their United States Africa Command agenda, to facilitate oil theft. There is no way on earth we'd attack the USA with those weapons! Why can't we build our weapons? How can I sell guns to you and you want to claim boss? |
milehigh06: Nigeria loves to beg despite having the money to buy or build and when they refuse to give them aid,you now have the populace on mass hysteria calling everybody names and at the same time claim to be able to take care of their own issues and then the next topic comes alon and its the same thing over againWhen majority of Nigerians are easily manipulated to belief the west is their enemy it is expected. We always cry that Ghana , South Africa, Cameroon hates us. Even Egyptians had the guts to tear up a Nigerian passport and as usual that case will die down. |
BlackTechnology: Nigerians must start developing advanced weapons in large quantitiesMy thoughts exactly. We always crying wolf when someone decides not to help. Is it impossible to build guns, tanks, missiles? Not like we want nuclear weapons. But with a dead manufacturing sector our country can only retrogress further. |
addictiv: Evening great engineers and O&G professionals. i am a fresh graduate of petroleum engineering and due for national service by november. my dilemma is that my folks what me to skip service and go for masters maybe a phd in the US and possibly settle down there, but am worried about the ripple effect that would have on my professional career suppose i return to Nigeria in future for an opening. i remember one certain time that the minister of petroleum almost lost her job because of an accusation from the national assembly that she didn't participate in the compulsory one year service. she countered it by providing proof in pictures and discharge certificate. please i would like to know my odds because i feel there are more opportunities for me here than in a foreign land plus i can fast track my career as a professional if i serve here. left for them i ll be shipped off tonight if it where possible, its that serious. advice needed here pleaseBrother go to university of Houston for your msc and you won't have to come back to Nigeria |
