No where in the Constitution is it mentioned no section of the law, that Governors are Chief Security Officer of the state, when Security is on Exclusive list controlled by Commander in Chief

Obasanjo showed the Governors shege, even with the their own security details

Former Opreation Lafia Dole Commander already gave real professional solutions, but instead of listening he was demoted

Nigeria Army needs its own fighter helicopters and Jet, so when they sight bandits and Boko Haram they can quickly conduct airstrike... unlike the current situation where if they needed air support they have to contact Defense Headquarters, and Presidency while Presidency contacts Airforce, and before the airstrike Bandits get tipped off and are long gone

.

You cannot solve a social problem with military might.

Insecurity in Nigeria is as result of poverty and corruption in Nigeria

Could this be one of those fake news?

Can a mentally sane man give this order?

Does Nigerian Army see itself as being part of the citizens?

Does joining the military empowers to be above the law?

Had the law been amended to empower amry to arrest, investigate and prosecute civil matters?

Are we under military rule?

Do the military value the sacred lives of fellow Nigerians?

In criminal law at least in sane countries, everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty. Not the other way round

Politics / Re: Gays, Lesbians, Satan: Femi Fani-Kayode Blasts Biden, Harris & Supporters by GeneralShepherd(m): 2:42pm On Nov 11, 2020
ethicallyright:
Many Nigerian men who complain about Biden have funded the abortion of their girlfriends or one night stand partners who got pregnant.
Legal abortion means that people get to take care of children they are ready for and get rid of those they do not want before they are even born as humans. If the raped girl in Edo made it out alive and she got pregnant for one of the rapists, would you rather she kept the child and be damned by emotions forever while the child's father is not certain but one of three people who gang raped her currently serving life sentences?

Legalizing abortion means protecting the academic career of young female students who were lost in love and risk losing a year at home to nurse babies while the boys who put them in the family way get higher and higher.

Legalizing abortion means that the lives of our females are not ended by quacks who charge expensive rates to help them abort their foetus behind closed doors. We have young girls with blocked fallopian tubes because what could have been a simple process was undertaken by a quack in the dark.

It means that a pregnant woman can walk out of her abusive relationship and end the pain she may carry for 9 months and subsequently forever without being blackmailed for it.

Legalizing abortion makes it clear to the whole world that men only donate their white liquid for fertilization while a woman labours with a protruding stomach for almost 300 days. When a woman can walk into a clinic to buy a card and terminate a pregnancy she is not comfortable with, many men will lose their bargaining and suppression chip.

Serial divorcing of women, overt abuse of members of the press, winning elections on Twitter and uncouth speeches are some of the similarities 45 and FFK share. Any man who has no respect for women would always be against anything that tries to make them free. Even women we are fighting for are too blind to understand.

Killing babies is not freedom.

Obama retired at 55, Trump started at 70. Now Trump retired at 74 and Joe is starting at 77. It proves that age is just a number and everyone’s time will come.Just because you get to a certain number doesn’t mean that you have to roll up into a ball and wait for the grim reaper. We were put on this earth to do something! If you stop using your brain, at any age, it will be going to stop working. It’s like if you stop using your hand, it will atrophy. I think doing nothing is a sin.

Congratulations to the 46th president of the USA and the USA as well, with full of inspiration.

Thank you! retired at 74 and Joe is starting at 77. It proves that age is just a number and everyone’s time will come.

A panel of inquiry has been setup, but up till now, no single family has come to claim that they lost a loved one in the massacre. All the people alleged to have been killed in the massacre have come out to debunked the fake news. The only Tony that have been alleged to be killed during the protest by an impostor mother in diaspora, his brother have confirmed that he died in a motorbike accident not at the protest venue.

All the prophets of doom in this country are put to shame.

I am an avid critic of MNK, however you can hardly disagree with his analysis of Nigeria and Africa in general.

Modern African nations were arbitrarily created at the infamous Berlin conference to facilitate the looting of resources from Africa.

These nations were not forged to enhance cooperation, defence and goodwill.

Is it any surprise that no African nation is successful?

I do disagree with his Jubril from Sudan theory

It's shameful this Pictures would make it outside the shores, and many foreigners would reinstate it that all Nigerians are criminals

Expect actions in Ghana, SouthAfrica, US and UK

Go and watch the George Floyd riots and see what looting looks like.

Also go and watch videos of the London riots in 2012.

Then you will understand that we do not even know how to riot.

Nigerians can be many things but we are decent people or at least not as bad as some people pretend we are.

Foolish man

When a Private Company built Lekki Ikoyi cable suspension bridge under a PPP agreement that they earn back their money in 20 years you all kept quiet

If this is the case. The government should calculate the cost of the bridge and reimburse the company.

We cannot live in a country where we are double taxed at all times. Most Nigerians pay taxes, those that don't pay it in blood from the fact that we are faced by peril from all sides, just so that our leaders can live comfortably.

I remember so many people protested the Lekki toll gate , and I can even remember when the tolls were increased that people also protested .

So I feel it is disingenuous to tag it a partisan or tribal sentiment.

Suffering in Nigeria knows no tribe and has no political affiliation.

We are all in this together

Education / Re: Why Do MOST Nigerian Parents Rush Their Kids Through School? by GeneralShepherd(m): 2:53pm On Oct 28, 2020
The earlier you get through school the more tolerance you have for the inevitable years of trying to settle in as an adult in Nigeria.

So take me for example, I graduated at 23 it wasn't until I was 29 that I got a good job and that was after I had left Nigeria.

So imagine I graduated at 29 by this calculation I would be 35 before any meaningful achievement in life.

Also for most countries, once you are 30 the chances of migration reduces greatly. If you decide to stay in Nigeria most graduate jobs in Nigeria will only consider applicants younger than 25.

So I believe that is why reasonable parents rush their kids through school in Nigeria

I am yet to see a country that reduced crime by increasing policing and law enforcement.

Law enforcement and policing keeps the peace when a society is generally prosperous.

It is unreasonable and a denial of reality to think that a nation with jobless youths will be peaceful

Aside the assault, Nigerians should give Respect to men in uniform. You shouldn't expect them to queue like civilians, they might be on an emergency assignment

You are not well. US marines, British SAS and Canadian soldiers all queue up. You now want these soldiers to jump the queue.

Are you normal?
Crime / Re: Soldier Beats A Lady At An ATM Stand In Lagos This Morning (video) by GeneralShepherd(m): 10:56pm On Oct 26, 2020
GreatResearcher:
I'm not supporting assault but the lady got what she deserved. Watch the video very well you will see that the lady deliberately wanted the soldier to beat her so she can post it on the internet and trend. Even when people begged her to leave she thrown herself on the soldier.

Modified:
Whenever you see a soldier or officer in military uniform, it's most likely that he or she is on official duty.
These men while on duty try to steal a little time from their busy schedule to attend to their personal needs.

That is why most of them when the go to ATM stand they try to beat the queue because of their limited time.

This soldier went to the ATM stand as you can see his dressing. There's 90% possibility that he is on duty.

He tried to beat the queue. Instead of the lady to speak to him politely she started with insults.

Was the lady the only person at that ATM?

The soldier annoyance was she bringing out her phone to record the soldier.

That was when the soldier puts his wallet in his pocket and brought out his belt.

He didn't even beat her o.

She wanna trend that's all.

So he is above insult abi?

Are you people normal?

So punishment for insult is beating?

Why should he jump the queue
