Seun is correct, no president can save Nigeria. Peter Obi is a capitalist running under a socialist labour movement, how does that work? 4 Likes |

Atikus plan is nothing but the tried and failed policies of IMF. We privatized electricity distribution and we are yet to see any improvement in electricity distribution. Some developed countries like the UK are fighting to nationalize assets that were privatized by Magret Thatcher because these assets no longer serve the people in the hands of capitalists. Your plan of privatization is simplybsilly |

Every few days, government sponsored agents will post threads lambasting UK , claiming USA is going down the drains in order to cast doubt in the mind of Nigerians fleeing this sinking ship. To the government agents, this is the reason we ran away and millions are running ♀️ with us. To the average nairalander japa, nobody can fix Nigeria, not even Peter Obi. He might slow the rot but he can't fix it. If Tinubu or atiku gets in Somalia will be better than Nigeria in 2 years 6 Likes |

LocalStandard1: Let's try allegedly kidnapping an American woman and bragging about it. Is that enough for you? It's so funny when I see you folks defend these extremists that have zero regards for Africans. From Tate, to Trump and Jordan Peterson, these men are white supremacists, that you think they fight 'wokeness' does not make them your allies. |

blaquemyc: Long term, naira will always continue to slide, because the economy is built on nothing but crude oil. The population is exponentially growing while revenue from crude is not. Furthermore, our politicians continue to embezzle our commonwealth. So anyone who has dollars should hold. |
Politics / Re: David Hundeyin Publish Documentary On Tinubu's Alleged Drug Involvement In US by GeneralShepherd(m): 2:50am On Nov 14, 2022 |
I dislike Tinubu as much as anyone, however unfortunately the documentary didn't reveal anything new and while it suggests corruption as well suspect of our politicians. It is filled with hearsay and conjectures. Here are the facts 1. The USA government investigated Tinubu for drug related offenses and money laundering, he was never convicted and he settled out of court with an agreed forfeiture. 2. He became a US asset against Abacha and all his sins were forgiven. If he was never convicted in court, all accusations against him are just that accusations. 3. Williams was strangled in his bedroom, there was no evidence linking Tinubu or Fashola with the crime. Of course we are allowed to speculate but that is irresponsible journalism from David. 4. Tinubu and his kids buying properties overseas in cash when people are dying of hunger in Nigeria is a shame. However Dj Cuppy's dad bought her a 5 million pound home, even though we know their family wealth can be traced to Nigeria's commonwealth. Everyone in Nigerian political class have looted the country blind every single one of them. Atiku, Tinubu and maybe even Peter Obi. 5. A man linked with drug trafficking should be disqualified from the presidential race, however if we want a viable democracy we must operate on the principles of innocent until proven guilty. I really hope Tinubu looses but this poorly researched documentary with dramatic music reflects poorly on David. 2 Likes |

Fearyourcreator: I am not in competition with anybody but anyone claiming that Nigeria is better than USA with regards to crimes and or economic opportunities is either being disingenuous, delusional or is a paid government agent. It is that simple. If you like do well in Nigeria na for your pocket, but I will share my opinion in letting people know that their are indeed better opportunities outside of the trenches of Nigeria |

Munamoqel: As an igbo man have I been accepted in Lagos or Kano? While racism is a concern , you have better recourse in law if someone overtly discriminates against you in America vs Nigeria. You know Amazon has had a huge datacenter in South Africa for nearly 10 years now right. Now let me tell you why Amazon is expanding to Nigeria. Every public company needs to continue showing growth, Amazon has dominated cloud computing in every continent and the only other way to show massive growth is to dominate Africa. A single datacenter in South Africa is not enough to serve the African market. If Nigeria was such a prime market, they will not be expanding to Nigeria literally when they have no where else to expand to. |

Backpedal: The way I see people employing circular reasoning on this thread is astounding. I will love a working Nigeria and to move back home. However it is because go to east, west, north and south, home will always be Nigeria for me. For my children, not so much. There are many reasons to what to leave here like racism, loneliness and cultural shock but ability to make money is not one of them, even for the average japa person |

Munamoqel: You again are cherrypicking facts, you also conveniently ignored the fact that while only 44% of Americans have emergency funds that most had credit cars and can still foot their bills. You fail to understand that in a booming economy people do not saving, when their is a downturn people save. An article from Bloomberg is not an economic survey of how rich or poor Americans are. You need to look at household wealth and gdp per capita. In America it is 69k , in Nigeria it is 2K. Stop embarrassing yourself with this argument. In terms of wealth, quality of life , education , security and Healthcare (which your leaders rely on) their is no western country comparable to Nigeria 1 Like |

Munamoqel: Tell me you have never worked in oil and gas without saying you have not worked in oil and gas. Oyibo is rushing to come and work in Nigeria, are you normal? All the companies you listed are foreign companies with offices around the world. If you think that Chevron pays the most in the Nigerian office then I really have nothing else to say to you. Most oyibos want to be alive and being in Nigeria endangers their lives. Use your head for one second |
