I've actually been using both and I prefer chess.com. I think you are referring to other features than game play. I agree that chess.com has paid options but when you spoke I thought you meant game play.

chess.com is restricted in some way; no full access to enjoy all the features of a great chess game, but with lichess it's fun all the way. You can install it and see for yourself.

I think 'Lichess' still remains the best online chess app on android; it is time based hence, one can hardly cheat using a board analyzer.

Since you posted this update, I have visited my profile page to update it twice now. Each time I add my higher institution it disappears after some minutes.

There is still a problem with the 'add higher institution' thingy; it should be fixed.

I am adding again for the 3rd time and I just hope it doesn't disappear again.

Don't get yourself perturbed, Bro. It's a problem from their end.
I applied roughly 2 days ago, and yesterday I got a mail from them that I should update my profile coz some details were missing. Actually, when I submitted my application 2 days ago my information on my profile was perfect; checking it some hours later, I discovered that my institution entry was gone; consequently, they (DPR) had to send me that mail yesterday for an update of my profile.
The funny thing is that I updated my profile with all the necessary information yesternight and submitted, only for me to check my profile this morning to see my institution entry disappear again.

It seems it's a general problem. I wonder why some peeps still have theirs displaying.
Just leave it that way, coz I applied again with another mail address, and for some minutes every thing seemed perfect; few hours later I logged out and logged in again only to see my institution entry gone.

I didn't apply twice with one account. Just had to use another email address to reapply some few minutes ago, and every thing seems perfect.

Have you tried logging out and logging in again to your profile page to see if your institution still displays? Because the page I submitted and printed out has my institution on display, but when I later logged out and logged in to my profile page today, I couldn't find my institution entry on my profile page. This got me worried.

You have to edit and make sure it is there before submitting your application.

That was exactly what I did to pass that hurdle, and I actually saw it on my profile before and after I submitted, but to my greatest surprise I can't find it there this morning.
