Nigeria didn't inherit any world class infrastructures from the colonial master rather left us with mediocre infrastructures. You can not compare the infrastructures in South Africa with any other British colony because they built South Africa to their taste in order to live there forever. That can also be said of Algeria built to taste by the French because the intended making it France annex.


[b]Just one university was built by the British in the whole Nigeria [/b]compared to South Africa who has many world class universities built in the 17th century. Same goes with your cities, transportation, economy, etcetera.

The difference is clear and not like deterioration here in Nigeria. We rebuilt the mediocre infrastructures to world class from the scratch.

See Lagos just few years after independence but see what we have done afterwards in the last two pictures.

Are you referring to UI or Yabatech which were previously just college campuses of a University in Britain? If yes, it wasn't a full blown university!

Something you shld also know is that majority, almost all slums in Kenya are not owned by those who built those structures there...it started as temporary structures...

But at the end of the day, you see those slums turn out to be full blown communities. Does the Kenyan govt demolish slums in Kenya? In Nigeria, there is so much demolition of slummish parts of various suburbs.

Are you sure about Jos being the coldest city in West Africa? Desert cities in Mali & Niger republic should be colder if I'm not mistaking.

Yes, Jos is actually the coldest. I checked the weather in Timbuktu, Maradi and even the likes of Agadez, Nouakchott and other typical sahara desert cities and Jos still had lower temperatures.

Most hinterland Tanzanians don't speak Swahili as Kenyans.Tanzanians are more fluency.There are many factors which led to that.

Under Nyerere socialism policies,all rural people were forced to form villages. Some they were forced to form villages with different tribes.So Swahili became the only language to communicate

Up to this day, its awkward for a Tanzanian to speak a tribal language in public.its like a taboo,while in Kenya a dude can speak his Kikuyu in Nairobi

Tanzania's primary schools uses Swahili,while its English in Kenya.

I can't mention everything. Its obvious that a guy from interior of Tanzania like myself is by far a better Swahili speaker than a kenyan.

We should do this to avoid bias. Post pictures of current first and second ladies of the president, deputy president, governors and their deputies. That way there won't be bias. As you know people don't vote in beauty and the women would be representative of the entire country in both cases. I can easily drive you nuts with carefully selected cute ladies from Kenya that I know of but it's well known that a typical society has averages in plenty alongside extreme beauty and ugliness in between. You can start with the most beautiful first and finish with the ugliest or vice versa or be random. We want to settle this thing once and for all.

Comparing pictures of corrupt African politicians' wives is nothing but a show of shame to me. Wives of thieves who have rubbed us dry and used tax payers monies to embark on expensive cosmetic surgeries and what have you.

Don't blame genieluv too much though, I'm starting to understand her. Her view of Tanzania is based on movies and music videos. The Tanzanian movie industry is based in Dar es Salaam - a Swahili city, the movie industry in Kenya is based in Nairobi which is more cosmopolitan (though Mombasa has quite her share). If Mombasa was doing bigger than Nairobi in the movie industry it could maybe change her stupid twisted views.

Has it ever crossed your mind that majority of those Tanzanian artists are from dar es salaam? Which means they speak the same? Coastal Swahili in Kenya and Tanzania sounds the same. Try videos of coasterians from both countries. You can't tell the difference.

Of course Somalis in Kenya should speak swahili.
There are swahili speaking minorities in Somalia, however, native Somalis in Somalia speaking swahili is unheard of.
