pjogutum1: @naah29: I wonder if you have any chance, you have already made the mistake of informing KCC. The rule is simple, you may be denied visa on the grounds of deceit, that is claiming the qualification that you don’t have.
The only option I see is going to the interview with your calculated result but there is still a problem with that, what if the embassy decides to verify your result? Well let other house members contribute to this issue.

naah29: Hi to everyone on this forum . I won the DV lottery but have an issue . I left the University with my calculated result - i knew I have modulated all my courses and thereby knows I have a degree. later played the lottery with status as a holder of degree then submitted my forms to kcc. I will soon go to the embassy like in three months time , i have gone to my school top collect my certificate and they telling me that there is a course i did not validated so i can be issued a degree. when i noticed this i emailed kcc and they reply with the below information

KCC does not have the ability to retrieve or make changes to the data that was provided on the original entry to the lottery.
Please complete the forms DS 230 Part I, DS 230 Part II, and DSP 122 with the correct information. Once received at KCC, the information will be included in your case file for review.

Im still to resend the corrected form , do i stand a chance at the interview ??

pjogutum1: @Edimop: Not that, visa is meant for those who prepare well, though with less denials, they only want to issue as much as possible, but those that won the 2014 will have it more difficult than the 2013 since the number will be entering what my friend called the tape line.

fermadiko, sometime ago, u gave us some figures of those that have received the visa for 2013 winners. can u update us of the recent figures of the visa that have been given out for dv 2013

House, this issue of having or presenting two birth certs must be cleared ooooo. Wat if the only birth cert you Have is the NPC, wont they collect it? moreover,those that got their NPC cert after winning the lottery, i hope the consular will not frown at this.

DemolaNg: @ALL: Join me give Glory to GOD. On April 16, I got to the interview timely with my family of four, as early as 6.20am before the 7am appointment were called to queue up. All protocol observed.

With the knowledge gathered on Nairaland, all documents were well arranged with photocopies of each and questions answered. Even the complain of the laminated NYSC certificate was tackled.

But to my surprise, despite the fact that my two kids were all around me, the CO requested for the pictures of my babies at Birth, shortly after birth or of their mum in their pregnancy, which was not among the album we went with. At that point we were given a form to request for another appointment date when we have them ready for presentation.

April 24 was eventually given to present them, so I went with the pictures taking at the naming ceremony,with the wall framed pictures of my family. Within 2 minutes of the assessment of the pictures, we were granted the Pick up date and venue for the VISA.

House,will a green card holder who is visiting nigeria go to the embassy for visa when he is retuning back to the states?

I am just going to summarize it. After sharing my success story on this forum and while preparing for my journey, you know trying to source for fund, I had a bullet attack which was meant to terminate my life, in order to pollute my testimony but against the wish of the enermies my God didn't let it happen that way. I left naija on the 16th April with British Airways connected through London(Heathrow Airport) and arrived Philadelphia on the 17th of April, to God be the glory.

Also to pray for those waiting for their 2NL, interviews, trips and 1NL by May 1st. I wish you all success and God's favour, IJN amen.

kdgom66: House, let's not be paranoid! The agents are not reading our posts but if they indeed happen to be reading these posts, to hell with them! They have no legal claims on you, hushmern. They are extorting you and I hate when I hear people say you should go and pay these animals. There is no certainty in life. You must be bold enough to take your chances. What makes you think you will be given a visa if you pay them? Whose loss will that be? They are parasites and they have fed on you enough. It is time you take your chances. Remember there is no certainty in life. You have your confirmation number already. Go and get a new passport and print out your 2NL. Do your medicals and police report, NPC birth certificate and gather all other documents. Keep fooling the idiots by continuing to beg them. Then on the day of interview go to the embassy with a soldier or two to provide security as some people have already suggested. Don't return to your house, move to a place you know they won't find you.Then have someone you trust pick up your passport for you. Then from there jet out of the country. If I were you, I would pray and take my chances.

Some are not comfortable with my imposing presence. They won't accept hands of friendship extended. They choose to be opposition. Am not bugged. Heloo house, its in the media today that the federal govt had abolished neco exams meaning that from next year they will not be writing neco exams again. Now what will be the hope of soMe of us who are having the neco certificate? Will the embassies most especially the america embassy still value the neco certificates? I hope they will nt reject it at the embassy.pls house ur contribution is needed
