Check for the directors of pathcare and all the prestigious international labs. They are all pathologists. Your argument only ensues in Nigerian teaching hospitals. Browse for the director of pathcare nigeria, or the board of director of clina-lancet, there no single scientist on the board. Those are international labs, you should consider arguing and fighting there.
His arguments are on point, but u're reluctant to accept.Well, too bad. True,Pathcare is an international company.Nigeria is still upcoming in terms of diagnosis. These guys came into our country to invest. It is the same way we hv most prestigious hospitals in Lag being owned by foreign doctors, with their board of directors being foreigners. That doesn't make our doctors incompetent. The setting of the teaching hsptl is prouldy ''Nigerian'',hence it's use as an example.Hence when we speak,we use the teaching hsptl setting as our guide because that was where we recieved our training, and not foreign countries. We can NEVER be like the Americans....i hope u'll be a lil bit realistic and accept that! |
@ NappilyNigerian, kuddos to u.I'm so proud of u.I hvn't read informative threads on NL for a long time.I really appreciate u.I'll def be trying out ur regime . My major prob is the breakage to my front hair.I really dn't know what to do abt it.I need help ASAP! My hair is naturally long but weak.I hope ur regime will give my hair more strength. Thanks |
Understand that pathology was there before lab science. Insulting a course that bred your course is not a way to go. Pathology is recognised internationally and is a field in medicine that will never go extinct or become replaceable. Everyone has a right to choose a field for whatever reason as long as its not criminal. If everyone goes to OnG who will study pathologist or psychiatry?. The way to go is to fight for your perceived right without becoming overtly insulting. I still know in microbiology then a doctor used to give the scientist some tutorials before they go for their professional exams, I don't know if its like that anymore.
It hasn't been that way for a long time now. There is nothing wrong in choosing pathology as a specialty. It is when these guys try to lord it over others that make it pathetic. Everyone is vital to the health sector. Its hilarious to see baby doctors pouncing around, like they are the best thing to happen to the human race. Do ur job as a pathologist, allow the scientists do theirs without u ppl being arrogant and overbearing. Both parties can work it out peacfully, but u guys seem hell bent on being evil *Lol,when i think of pathologists,i think of two-horned beings*. What u guys are seeing today is a rebellious revolution, where people are tired of being stepped upon.I'm sure the reason u ran away frm med lab sc was b'cos u saw the trend and got discouraged.U then decided to join the camp of the oppressors *if u c'nt beat them,u join them''. I hv decided to stick to what i love doing,so hv others.I thank God for the turn around. Its def getting better! |
I still wonder why the directors at Pathcare and even lancet are pathologist. Pathcare Nigeria is headed by a haematologist (its all over the internet), no single lab scientist among the board of directors. We somehow see government work as a place to claim rights but act as mules in private organisation and multinationals, even in shell the chem path lab is called metabolic clinic and headed by a doctor. I know doctors that work in pathcare and they make more than twice my present income, not a pathologist so can't work there (sad) . Fortunately am in the job for the money, where there's less work and more money that's were I am. Don't blame me, that's the wish of all health workers and Johesu too. Blessings!
Exactly! I once asked a friend of mine who was a resident doctor, why he went into pathology and not surgery,O&G and the rest. His answer made me hv very little respect for pathologists. His answer was that the job isn't stressful. They hv much time on their hands and it pays..pathologists have no shame. They expect the scientist to do the brunt of the work and they take the credit.Terrible! You people hv no shame,so pathetic! |

vivichocs: it's high time you guys stopped calling blebleswag, ...dd anybody create his or herslfDn't waste ur breath.I visited the guys section and viewed their pix.Virtually all of them are kids. What do u expect. The matured ones speak little words which are loaded. The empty ones make a hell of noise just to get people's attention. With time,u get to understand and ignore juveniles. |
But the directors of the so called pathcare Nigeria Mimi is talking about are medical doctors now. The head is a haematologist. No lab scientist among the board of directors, and mind you pathcare is an international organisation. Just browse directors of pathcare Nigeria. Blessings
Hahahaaha...blessings to u too,brother.Now clap for urself! |
He is cursed!!! His suffering shall be beyond reversal. No amount of kabashing will make his life whole again! Cursed thing! He shld be taken to sango shrine for sacrifce.....oooops,sango will def reject him! Now this is where i'm angry wif the girl's mom.I do not know what the man did to her to warrant her exit ,so i will not judge her.But abandoning ur female child wif ur husband is a big NO NO! Finally, the man use that pikin virginity do juju oooo! Which kain konji go catch papa by 12 midnight and him go ra*pe him pikin? Hmmmm,i hope they punish him severly. |

naijaking1: Please tell me that you're joking''He is joking'' . Will u now contemplate suicide?? Abegi! I replied u on the other thread.Read it,digest it,meditate on it,and be set free frm bondage of unreality. Lol! |
naijaking1: You can't become a doctor through the back door, bro.Hehehehhahaha.You are twisted....really twisted. Its obvious u're the one living in the world of unreality.E be like sey e don tey since u smell Naija air...no worry,d day u smell it is the day u return to space.Shior! Keep comparing ur country wif others,u go teyyyyy! And who told u scientists are scared of using machines?? Most standard labs these days use autoanalysers, wif manual methods fading out.But despite this, the scientist is trained here in NAIJA to carry out quality assurance.....abi na robot go do am? Guy stop fooling urself oooo. You actually think pathologists are better than people who are trained and well experienced in the practical aspect of this job? U think sey everything na book cramming and title? Wake up and smell the coffee, ogbe mi.The ijekuje wey u dey chop don twist ur thinking oooo.I strongly prescribe eba and veg soup! Chai! Mind u,scientist jobs are NOT winding down as u said. Here in lagos,ur so called doctors seek the help of diagnostic centres like Pathcare,Clinalancet,Mecure....etc. Why are pathologists not heading those famous diagnostic centres, why do ur ''pathologists'' patronise them? I feel for u ooo.when reality sets,it will come to u in a BANG!!! Final bullet,if the judge who ruled the case was poorly informed, then ur doctors were extremly dull by not presenting facts and convincing arguments. Not our fault, abi u wan blame scientists...kikikikakahahahahaa! Lol! |
marylandcakes: The measurements should be 250g for each peel and yes you can use ground cinnamon. The Orange liqueur is a spirit and acts as a preservative like any other alcohol. so it can only be substituted for a different spirit like rum, sherry, brandy. But then you will loose the concentrated citrus flavour you are trying to acheive. Thanks dear.Looking forward to ur posts and recipes |
^^^^^My friend stop making false claims, where in the links you provided did the requirements (1 - 6) categorically state that the position was the exclusive preserve of pathologists alone and no other professionals were eligible? You need to digest what you quote before rushing to argue in ignorance. How many American laws and standards are applicable to Nigeria? For the sake of argument, assuming that were true, are you suggesting that Nigeria as an independent state must blindly follow the Americans without recourse to its own peculiarities and limitations? Even the Americans have come to realize that the advantage of elevating the the Clinical Laboratory Scientist (their equivalent of MLS) to high echelons of other healthcare providers by introducing the Doctorate of Clinical Lab Sciences as a cheaper and better alternative to the Clinical Physicians (Pathologist) - BTW, the American CLS are also having the same problems MLS in Nigeria are having with pathologists (you will observe from the comments following the article); fortunately their Nigerian counterparts have already succeeded in being well ahead of them - though they too are on course to take over. Pls answer this question honestly, why should a pathologist with limited training and experience in laboratory science compared to the scientist who has been exclusively and entirely in the laboratory, be more suitable to head the laboratory?
I rest my case.Thank u my brother. |
You will need the peel of orange, lemon clementines and tangerine. Boil this with a stick of cinnamon, a tbsp of nutmeg and mixedsweet spice. Add brown soft sugar or black treacle. You can add a bit of lemon juice. Once all the liquid is dried out.(please do not let it burn or it will be bitter). Pour in orange liqueur and pour in an air tight container leave it for at least 3 weeks you can keep toping it up. Because you want a citrus flavour you stick to citrus friuts. If you were after a mixed flavour then you can add other dried fruits like dates, prunes, saltanas, raisins, cranberry etc.. Hope this helps? Goodluck Thanks dear. But clear up smfin for me,Do i boil the peel wif water...or is it just lemon juice and treacle serving as fluid? Also, cinnamon stick is not here in Naija..so can i use the ground powder? Finally,in the absence of orange liquor, can i use orange juice? Thanks for ur help,i appreciate it! Oooops! I gotta modify.I need the recipe for the fruits..like quantity in grams or pounds.tienks. |
vizboy: na me be this oh make una no laughAbeg no vex oo,are u a building inspector? Why u dey parol d house na? Mbok na simple kwention ooo |
lovely! But pls i need a help with the fruits.I'm considering making my own citrus candied peel. Can u pls help me out. What we find here in Naija are packed mixtures of fruits...but i need to make smfin diff for xmas |
thepathologist: i think u have difficult in interpreting the judgement. the issue is about department of med lab science. note that pathologists have been heading pathology departments viz haematology, chemical pathology, microbiology, immunology and morbid anatomy many years before advent of med lab science in nigeria. what court is saying now is for creation of dept of med lab science so that you guys will have sense of belonging. my take is that u cannot arrogate lab to urself. if arrogance of med lab sc continue what will happen is duplication of lab services. and who will pay? govt. because pathologists are licenced to run full laboratories while clinicians including nurses are licenced run side labs. that is fact. get it to ur head.Fine, let it get duplicated! les ipsa loquitos...get it to ''ur head'' that the facts will speak for itself.Watch it unfold.Imagine arrogant species calling scientists ''arrogant'',just b'cos they stood their ground? |
kandiikane: Oga seun abeg mek we hear word. Doing eyebrows is an art and it can take months to perfect . Your work mates must have learnt the art of eyebrows in the village. The shape of your eyebrows can make a huge difference to your face. Take a girl with bushy eyebrows and get it threaded and see what a huge difference it makes.May ur days be long! Honest! No mind people wey dey suck up joor! I love eyebrows. They modify the face. What i HATE is seeing ladies wif shaved brows. At least use a tweezer! Your head dey there! |
Cathaliya: comot ke? The pic dey there.....pg 82*gives a peck*...thanks dearie! |

But ur post aint complete na! |
cnt stop laffing. Its only ur patients i pity. I have said enough to u on d oda thread bt u have personalty/self esteem issues. Again, may God help u. Chai! U sounded so frustrated ooo. Only God knws wat ur passing thru.
He who knows his worth does not make mockry of others. He is a coward, hence he thinks a faceless forum is where he can exhibit machoism. In the true world,he's probably a timid thing. He's trying too hard to prove that he's superior, but failing miserably. When they come out of medical schoool as fresh doctors, its the same nurses he condemns that guide them in theatres and emergencies. After years of working, they feel they are now superior to others. He will definitely learn the hard way. |
Brother that's how its is abroad. Laboratory director designation is to the pathologist. Its just different here. The sad thing is that even when we know we are wrong, we just keep fighting for greed, pride of corruption sake. God save us. Blessings
Yeah, keep consoling urselves. The judge who ruled the case in favour of the scientist definitely knows abt that. The koko is that the case was presented at the court of law and judgement has been passed.Deal wif it,u and ur NMA president, and stop making a nuisance of urselves! |
Please doctors its high time we stopped arguing with these poorly educated follks. No matter how many PHD a nurse acquires she can never be up to you in IQ, its the way life made it, that why they couldn't merit MBBS in the first place. No amount of PHD can compare an individual to a physician. Let's ignore these ignorant folks, morover they always wished to be in your shoes. There's no level of education a lab scientist will receive that can refine his character to that of a physician. MBBS is the gold passing through the fire, it changes your whole life and the way you see things. Poorly educated health workers feel they know it all cos the less you know the louder you are, its opposite for those who really know. As for me I've got a thousand things to do. A thousand nursing PHD cannot make up a single MBBS heaven know! Doc plss ignore their illiterate and envy filled posts, they don't change what God has given to us, not now or in the future. Blessings
Ohhh, shut up alreadyy. You sound like a broken record. You aint betterr than others.Your dad was able to pay ur way into uni to study medicine, combined wif connection, and u come here to yarn.I love the way u console urself that u are better than others...keep it up cos u'll need smfin to see u thru ur years in practice. It is people like u that mess up in the presence of nurses in the theatre...ur ego gets in the way of ur reasoning.Good riddance. |
pasqal09: I like this vickki ro chic. She's got nice sense of humor...and bold.I commot cap for her courage.Unlike some weak cowards who find joy in making fun of people. |
lertee: Let's go there,if you yab me,cockroach go chop your mouth for nightAwwwwww! Reping ''derailers paradise''. I love ur natural look and smile. |
