TheWholeTruth: Chop knuckle.*i chop am*. Lol! |
Some silly peeps fail to get the story or the moral of the story. Your life limitations should not limit your goal and vision. Education is not a gaurantee for success, its just the oil to make the journey to success smoother and easier. Rely not upon the things/situation around you to define your destiny. My prayer be say Baba God go carry me go higher level wey pass my qualification and skill. Grace combined with personal doggedness is unbeatable. |
That was a very low blow from Ibinabo. When Claren Chukwurah made negative comments abt her,i didn't take it serious. But i can see she might actually have issues... Mr Ibu might be clownish, that does not make him a fool. Ibinabo, all the money Oga Jona is sharing,no chop am alone oooo. Diaris gooduu oooo. |
.....she looks very uncomfortable.... She looks like she's gonna stop breathing soon...Maybe pop an artery. Silly fashion. |

fijiano202: darling the prob naija have is not buying Innasion cars, its the idea that everything or products must have secondhand value..we grew up with the orientation that tokunbo is better than new car at almost the same price..Toyota,honda,Benz and bmw are brand names that have second hand values,Honestly people in nigeria believe that having a branded Car is like saving money at the bank...the best way to promote innason cars are thru the Fed govt ,state govts and ministrysLol. That is true, actually. |
Feraz: Gentlemimi, I thought bayleaf is used just for jollof rice?Bayleaf is used for meat, stew and jollof rice. |
Shikaamaru: Lol.. Okay. We will stick around then.Sure thing. ![]() |
Shikaamaru: I'm no stranger to you Mimi.Lol! I called u a stranger cos its been long i last saw you. I know u're good too,u just have to be. Quit NL? Hmmmm...not yet. ![]() |

henricson: Mimi, your name says gentle... You should have ignored him! ![]() henricson: I call that weakness... Hence the need for every lady to strive for independence, they're desperate mostly cus of financial stability! To a great extent, yes. But the truth is that our culture indirectly frowns on feminine independence. As a female brought up in Africa, especially Nigeria, most ladies grow up with the mentality that the male rules over her. She enters her marriage with this mentality. Even when she has issues in the home, her family will tell her that walking away is not an option. She should endure...*scoffs*. Being dependent or not is not the main issue. I've heard of ladies who are well-to-do in the career sector but slaves in their homes. It is all about individuality. Some are strong minded, others are weak. Some are strong but get weakened by a ''weak'' male. By a weak male,i'm refering to a man who does the aforementioned. |
titoetal: Na ndu ebebe Amen. Thanks too dear. Let's continue to profess brotherly love in our families, communities, the nations and we will have a peaceful world.Amen! So much positivity from you. Nice. Keep it up,may the fire not dwindle. ![]() |
ghostwritter: Wow!!....u just called me 'sweerie'?.....no more fight, I forgive u....lol.Awwwww... The sarcasm went far above your head. Ehhya. If u die i no go marry? If u die, life goes on.Lol. You gat jokes mehn. I'm not aware that being married is an achievement in ur home. Is that all u need in life? ghostwritter: U must be GAY!!Seems you are trying too hard to seem relevant and get noticed. Why not sit down somewhere and keep mute if u have nofin intelligent to say. The more you ''open ur mouth'',the more u spew trash. Shut up sweerie. ![]() |
ghostwritter: I achieved my aim....i'm sure u now got my message.Sweerie,u aint got aim mehn. No goal,no aim...nada. ''Notice me'' go kee you. Lol! |
ghostwritter: Going by your comment, I guess u must av reached ur menopause!!....and still single.Fool, did ur sisters attain menopause in their twenties? tell them i said ''It is well with their situation''. You've been duly noticed, now go and live ur miserable life. |
titoetal: I have always maintained a positive attitude towards this great nation and if we all can show a little patriotism with less negative comments, we shall all succeed. Lets support this great changes and keep spreading the good news always. There is a saying that when you thank someone for his good deeds, his adrenalin will be boosted to do even greater good deeds.Thank you, brotherly. The people who make negative comments and destructive criticism are unfortunate individuals who have no control over their life issues, but take advantage of a faceless forum to exhibit their immaturity. Innoson is an evidence of ''Possibility''. Yes we can! Ten years ago, nobody imagined this possibility. Obodo Nigeria adigo mma. Otito diri Jesu. ![]() |
MissMeiya: Omigosh this sounds so good! I'm going to try it next time. You are welcome, babe! Thanks for the thread too. I like ladies who know their ways around the kitchen. kulyie: there's no fish that doesn't have bone however if you don't want bone in your stew or soup you have 2 options.its either you use stock fish or you take your time and start dissecting and removing all the bones in between the fish.now the latter requires patience and discipline. You will be tempted to eat it but don't and when you first start bones will be piercing and hurting you but with time.when you do it repeatedly and you know the spot where all the bones are you will find it easy. After removing all the bones you can add it to your stew. That way you will enjoy your fish stew betterLMAO @ bolded. |
Unfortunately, some of us ladies reading this have such low self esteem and no sense of ''self'',and would allow a single man carry out the above and still smile in the name of love.. Some men are really good at using psychological manipulation, and the lady is so happy to have a husband that she will do any and everything. Beautiful writeup too. But some ladieswill take that shiit just to keep a man. Talk of desperate..... |
I'll be right back! I'm BACK! Sorry,OP,i'm gonna use local names for my recipe. Fresh tomatoes. Tinned tomatoes. Tatashe pepper(usually three times the amount of the fresh tomamtoes cos its flavour is unique) Ata rodo *lol*...i don't know the english name..the small hot pepper Enough finely sliced onions. Vegetable oil (i love pure groundnut oil frm the Northern parts. If absent,i use Laser veg oil) Thyme, curry, black pepper, nutmeg, mixed spice, bayleaf. Ginger/garlic paste. Meat stock. knorr chicken/suppy combo. The tomatoes and pepper and an onion are all ground in a blender. I heat it up to dehydrate it. Heat up the oil,add most of the sliced onions. Then i fry the grinded stuff till i'm a bit satisfied. Add the tinned tomatoes and fry. Then add the ginger/garlic paste and fry more. Add the maggi and a little thyme to it. Note that frying the thyme gives ur stew a unique flavour. Also grate a little bit of ur nutmeg seed. Fry till almost well cooked. Keep stirring,if not it'll burn. When the raw taste is almost gone, add ur meat stock(water frm cooked meat). Allow it heat up. At this point, reduce the heat.Add a little water. Add ur curry,a little more thyme, chicken spice, black pepper...bayleaf,nutmeg. Cover ur pot and allow it to steam on low heat for abt ten minutes. Taste to check if its well cooked. Enjoy! |
ammyluv2002: ImpressiveThanks babe. ![]() |
Intelligent woman all the way,no argument there. I'll choose intelligence over gentility. Gentle peeps could be wickedly dangerous, you know? The intelligent woman knows how to handle situations as it deems fit. The man can go out and confidently leave his home in the intelligent woman's care. The intelligent woman influences the children too. Makes them smart and active. God forbid, but if the man passes away, the intelligence of the woman is needed for her children to make it in life with the few available resources. The intelligent woman is not necessarily bossy or arrogant, just a lady who knows what she wants and then goes about achieving it in the easiest ways possible. The man cannot be at his peak at all times in terms of mental capability. Sometimes,he needs a mentally strong woman to give him the required push. Note: it is only strong men that take up the challange of an intelligent woman. Weak men want ''gentle'' pushovers, whom they can control like puppets on strings. |
...If u ask me,na who i go ask.... ...the matter wey i dey see so,e tey wey e start.... *woof woof* |
Without being too sentimental, unrealistic, and emotional,i can boldly say that true love DOES exist without money. But this is as rare as ever. The first dude i came close to even loving had nofin in terms of finances. What i loved was everything he represented/stood for. Till today i still hold him in high regard. It all depends on each individual. Some are not capable of loving anyone but themselves. Even if u give them the greatest wealth, they are still not capable of loving others. Personally,i think ''love'' that developes where there is wealth is not true love. Take away money and beauty,u may have nothing left. But if i may be truthful,i'll say i lack the capability of loving a man who has no ambitions or life purpose,a man who lacks objectives and drive,a man who fails to realize opportunities to succeed. Even if u are not wealthy,be smart enough to know how to hussle. Make hunger kee me? |
