Politics / Re: Why Is The Osun State Govt Wasting Millions On Billboards? by geogino(m): 8:34pm On Mar 05, 2013
Josh090:
Let me just clarify this for you, the govt gives the job to someone, he comes to us for designing(if he chooses) or design somewhere else, and we print it out for him, he in turn goes to the location of the board and fix it there shikena!
Per square foot of flex (the material for billboard) is 60 naira, the usual size for the boards are 10by20 foot...now do d maths! One board cannot exceed 300k unless they just want to waste money!
Who's advertisement money paid to? If it's that easy, why is it that every company does not have or own a billboard? Whtas the job of companies such as inventmedia ?
Politics / Re: Why Is The Osun State Govt Wasting Millions On Billboards? by geogino(m): 6:52am On Mar 05, 2013
Josh090: So, tell me, how much does 48 sheets cost?
Guy,how much does advertising the "printed sheets" cost? Who's talking about printing here! Go find out bro so we clarify issues.

Josh090:
Well bros, I work with a large format printing coy and I can tell you the prices authoritatively!! Infact our coy printed all the O-yes stickers!
You work with a format printing company not a billboard advertising company.
Politics / Re: Why Is The Osun State Govt Wasting Millions On Billboards? by geogino(m): 10:41pm On Mar 03, 2013
@Josh090,
It's so hard to believe your figures. Maybe that's just a wild guess. Moreover, this na govt arrangements so expect prices way higher than normal.

Food / Re: Pls Help Urgently Needed On How To Make Curry Sauce by geogino(m): 11:15pm On Feb 08, 2013
The carrots and Irish potatoes are supposed to be diced . Also the corn flour is supposed to be dissolved with water in a bowl before addition while gently stirring as you add it to the chicken and stock.
pitipom: Ingredients:
Chicken
Carrots
Green pepper
Fresh pepper
Irish potatoes
Onions
Garlic
Curry
Nutmeg
maggi chicken
Vegetable oil
Thyme
Cornflour

Method:
Cut chicken into desired sizes, wash n put in pot.
Season with maggi, onions, garlic, nutmeg n thyme. Bring to boil.
Use adequate water in cooking the chicken because the Stock will form the base for the sauce.
Put veg oil in pot, heat a bit, then add the chopped onions, fry for 30secs and add d carrots,
Stir for 3mins,add green pepper, fresh pepper, enough curry and maggi.
Stir for another 3mins,add the chicken stock, chicken, and salt to taste.add cooked irish potatoes, Add cornflour to thicken to desired consistency. leave to cook for 5mins,then bring down. All cooking should be done on low heat.serve with white rice and plantain.

baby_123: So people just show up with men and say daddy i want to marry. You guys dont date or court? na wa o. Any question my dad wants to ask and know would have been known while we were dating. Even known the parents sef, as soon as i tell him i am serious about this one. Anytime the guy comes, he and my dad will sit down and gist sef. Drink and laugh. Well i guess people are different sha, my own home is open and we talk about everything. No guy can come and pick me up from home or be dating me and my parents wont know him. Its impossible. But i know my dad would never have gone to his work place or ask about anything relating to money. He doesnt want to be thought of as ana tom tom. He would trust that i will do the investigation well and bring reports, and he just needs to make a few phone calls too. tongue. And i would never even agree to the proposal of a person i and my family hardly know. I kuku never lie to myself, so i used to do all my investigations. If i sense something funny, i bounce. Who get time for disgrace or waste of time. grin. I used to wonder how people will come on NL and open posts : "How do i tell my wife this or that", or "Is it right for my wife to do this and that". grin grin grin cheesy
As if you were reading my mind. I keep wondering how women are slammed into fake marriages. Abi d guy just popped out of no where and next thing you are married? Except the lady is also living a fake life. Gone are the days when people get married without dating. Women get wise, see the real picture and try not to easily get carried away.

I take similar stand with you and actually do not blame some people here on how shallow their comments are coz they do not know the meaning of or really understand the word "MIRACLE".

#My2Cents#
nollywood20: In 1956 Enoch Adeboye was admitted into Ilesha Grammar School, Ilesha, Osun State, Western Nigeria and as a youth he discovered a passion for books, and an aptitude for science and in particular the field of Mathematics. This led to an academic journey in the field of Mathematics against incredible odds including but not limited to finances, the Nigerian Civil War and academic politics. By the time he was done, Enoch Adeboye had obtained not only a Bachelors (BSc.) degree in Mathematics from the University of Nigeria, Nnsukka, Nigeria in 1967, but also a Masters (MSc.) Degree in Hydrodynamics and a Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Applied Mathematics, both from the University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria in 1969 and 1975 respectively.

ANYONE WHO CANNOT PROVIDE ANY EVIDENCE OF ACADEMIC EDUCATION COMPARABLE TO THE ABOVE SHOULD SHUT UP AND GO AND READ A BOOK, BECAUSE YOUR IGNORANCE IS DUE TO YOUR INTELLECTUAL ILLITERACY.

YOU SEE [people who] HAVE NOT CONTRIBUTED TO THEIR COMMUNITY AND SOCIETY COMING ONLINE ON A FREE FOR ALL FORUM TO POST NONSENSE. I HAVE ADVISED SEUN TO START COLLECTING UP TO $100 PER FOR REGISTRATION TO SEPARATE RESPONSIBLE MEMBERS FROM IRRESPONSIBLE [people]

I DOUBT IF ANYONE HERE INSULTING THE MAN OF GOD IS EVEN ONE QUARTER AS INTELLIGENT AS PASTOR ADEBOYE IN HIS YOUTH. NO WONDER OVER 33 MILLION YOUTHS ARE JOBLESS.
