PoliticsCyprian Akaolisa: Gunmen Burn Homes Of Imo Justice Commissioner & His Father's by Georgry(op): 12:17am On Apr 11, 2022
Some gunmen have razed the country home of the Imo State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Cyprian Akaolisa.

The assailants also burnt the residence of the father of the state justice commissioner located in the Orsu Local Government Area of the state.

In June 2021, Akaolisa’s country home was also attacked and burnt by some unknown gunmen.

The residence of the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba, was also attacked last year.

In a statement on Sunday, Akaolisa confirmed the attacks, saying, “The Igbos are hard-working people who through their years of toils put up structures and leave developmental strides in their communities of Origin maka ‘akụ ruo ụlọ, a mara onye nwe ya’.

“Through my many years of struggle, I have managed to put a block on another to build a befitting house for my family. My aged father also has a house he built through his sweats.

“Today, both buildings are in rubbles and ashes – our fellow Igbos burnt them. Firstly, last year, these arsonists burnt my country home in Obibi, Awo-Idemili, Orsu LGA of Imo State for no just cause.

“This year again, they returned and this time, they perfected the complete burning of even the blocks/bricks.

“And last night, to my utter consternation, they levelled my father’s house. This is a house my father built by himself – the life-toil of an aged man.

“In other words, I wish to put on record that my family house is completely destroyed. This was after they used a truck to cart all the properties: fridges TVs, bed/foams, generator sets and other household materials.

“What are my crimes, who did I offend? And what were my father’s offences? And I dare ask, where is the Igbo spirit? This is a direct affront to the akụ ruo ụlọ spirit. Who will invest in Ala Igbo nay Orsu LGA today under this type of atmosphere?

“The above are acts of arson ongoing in my LGA of Orsu. The complete burning of our LGA Secretariat, the house of my colleague – Chief Prince Ford Ozumba, the Hon Commissioner, Imo State Ministry of Labour, Employment and Productivity, the house of Hon. Ekene Nnodumele, the member representing Orsu State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly. There are also houses of other political leaders which have been razed in my area so far.

“Other ungodly acts are the sacking and carting away of all the Police presence & armouries in Orsu LGA, the kidnapping and killing of well-to-do individuals and security operatives. This attendant scare has become a daily phenomenon in my Local Government Area.

“Today, these gunmen (Codenamed Ụmụ Ọma, under the guise of freedom fighters) have continued to demand huge sums of money from mourning families who wish to bury their loved ones and the likes. It is now strictly business! These gunmen have almost made a god of themselves, killing and cannibalising at will, in my area but believe me, they will not succeed with our voices up and collaborative efforts.

“Where is the Igbo spirit, ụmụnne m? It is unfortunate that the majority of those who foment these troubles are not indigenous to Orsu but have garnered collaborators and enablers among the locals either through fear, persuasion, financial inducements and made to swear to devilish oaths of secrecy.

“It is time to synergize and put an end to the siege in Orsu LGA and liberate our people who are worse hit by the economic downturn occasioned by the ravaging insecurity. For the enablers and cheerers, It is time for the needed retrospect, soul-searching to interrogate the process so far by weighing the gains and losses.”

PoliticsUganda’s Loss Of International Airport To China - Punch. by Georgry(op): 8:12am On Dec 06, 2021
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that originated in China in the late 2019 crippled countries worldwide with smaller and poor economies taking a big hit. Reduction in revenues and foreign aid has affected these countries’ spending and thus their ability to repay loans.

Uganda is facing the biggest national crisis as it has been forced to surrender its only international airport to China for failing to pay back the loan it had taken in 2015. It had borrowed USD 207 million from the Export-Import Bank of China (Exim Bank). Now, the country is set to lose the strategic Entebbe International Airport to China, thus losing a vital component of its sovereignty.

Uganda now joins the club of Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Maldives, who have been stuck in the “debt trap” created by “predatory” conditions of Chinese loans especially under the aegis of the Belt and Road Initiative. Pakistan, Thailand, Kenya, Sudan, Ethiopia, Laos and Cambodia are some other countries that are on the verge of suffering a similar fate over debt failure.

When the agreement was signed in 2015, many in the East African country raised doubts over the provisions favouring China. Moreover, the rights and obligations of both parties were decided to be governed by the laws of China. This forced Uganda to agree to the conditions that waive any immunity to its assets including those characterised as sovereign from any suit, the jurisdiction of any arbitral institution or arbitral tribunal, judgment. Experts had felt it was as good as mortgaging the airport for the Chinese loan. Now, their fears finally came true.

Uganda’s debt has touched USD 17.96 billion, which is almost 50 per cent of its GDP. And the country is under tremendous pressure to repay $3bn in just the next 10 years.

Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni, recently sent a delegation to Beijing to renegotiate the loans. However, the request was turned down as China refused to allow any alteration in the original terms of the loan agreement. This means Uganda is likely to forfeit the Entebbe International Airport that handles over 1.9 million passengers annually.

Uganda’s Finance Minister, Matia Kasaija, has apologised to the country’s parliament for the loan fiasco as China prepares to take over the Entebbe airport. “I apologise that we shouldn’t have accepted some of the clauses,” he said. The agreement has a specific clause of ‘surrendering’ of its most prominent airport if Uganda cannot pay back the loan. However, people in Uganda were unaware of these clauses when the deal was signed in 2015. Now, it is coming to the fore that the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority had red-flagged the clauses that were detrimental to the country’s interest.

The UCAA managing director, David Kakuba, said, “Some 13 clauses were deemed unfriendly and as good as mortgaging the airport and eroding the country’s sovereignty. The most troubling for the aviation bosses was a clause that gave Exim Bank the sole authority to approve withdrawal of funds from the UCAA accounts.” China also froze disbursement of loan amounts after the UACC did not implement some of the clauses that were not favourable for Uganda. This slowed down the work and the project lost 361 days, thus adding to the economic woes of Uganda.

The strong possibility of losing their sovereignty has angered people in Africa, as people are criticising their governments and China. One Internet user called African leaders foolish. “You think the Chinese love Africans? Hahaha. Second slavery loading. The economic one,” said another.

Out of the 54 countries on the Africa continent, 50 have taken loans worth USD 153.4 billion from Chinese agencies between 2009 and 2019, according to the China Africa Research Initiative. Now, what has happened with Uganda rings alarm bells in poor African countries that are already reeling under shocks of COVID-19-led economic slump. Some African countries have experienced a commodity price crash and also they do not want to enter lending deals mortgaging their natural resources. All this has complicated debt servicing, putting these countries at the risk of losing vital infrastructure in case of loan defaults.

RomanceGhanaian Banker Cries As Newlywedded Wife Insists He Must Lick Her Armpit: " by Georgry(op): 2:02pm On Nov 16, 2021
A Ghanaian banker has recounted how he had to smack his wife’s buttocks with a belt repeatedly while she shouted "harder” before she finally got into the mood to have sex on their wedding night.

According to the man, he thought that was the worst experience until his wife has started requesting him to do more 'disgusting' things including licking her armpit and toes, all in a bid to turn her on for sex.

In a letter addressed to Jessica Opare-Saforo, the host of Citi TV/Citi FM’s Sister Sister show, the man disclosed that he and the now-wife agreed to avoid sex until after marriage.

Having dated for years without sex, he was highly expectant of an unforgettable experience on their wedding night, but the things he had to do to get his wife ready for the act were overwhelming.

While he thought the wedding night experience was the worst he experienced, the woman continues to make more unfamiliar demands in bed which he says he can’t take anymore.

“I can’t suck toes and lick armpits for the rest of my life. I can’t do it again,” he cried in the letter to Sister Sister.

Below is his full letter:

“Good evening sisters, I have a big problem that I need help with. I'm a banker and my wife is a nurse. We have been married for 3 months and something has been happening which I find very bizarre.

“We decided not to have sex till marriage even though both of us aren't virgins. On our honeymoon, my wife asked me to smack her bum with my belt as a sort of pre-intimacy. I was really surprised about what I was hearing but I thought to myself maybe she is just a bit kinky.

“She said that I should lick her armpits and then go ahead to suck her toes. In my head, I screamed "Jesus." What had I gotten myself into? She was beginning to sound upset as I questioned why she wanted that. I didn't want to ruin our first night so I did it.

“Fast forward, every time I want to make love to her she demands these things. If I refuse, she doesn't allow me. I called her one day and registered my concerns but she says that's what turns her on.

“Sisters, I can't suck toes and lick armpits for the rest of my life. Aaba, I can't do it again. Help me.”

LMServices:
1. Understand what blogging is all about.
2. Decide whether or not it is on a short term or long term basis.
3. Decide if it is just a hobby blog or a professional one. Anyone can design a hobby blog. For a professional one, hire someone who can not only design but also has a vast knowledge of SEO (this is where we come in).
4. Choose a niche. Multi niches aren't bad but they are very difficult to run.
5. Decide whether you will write yourself or hire writers. If the latter is the case, you must have some decent amount if money set aside.
6. The place of GOOD contents can't be overemphasised.
7. You should have a PC if you intend to blog seriously.

This list isn't exhaustive but an overview of what to prioritise. You can get in touch via the WhatsApp number in the signature below to get started.
