I highly doubt this particular laptop has a standalone graphics card. If it had any like claimed, then it would be a video RAM partitioned to work with the main RAM, as usually designed by Dell.

Equally, It did not take a Google search to tell that it's old, and if you are spending alot to get it, I will recommend you get a more recent one, that will be be huge in the departments of RAM, storage, and clockrate, as against the supposedly present "video graphics".

Thanks so much bro, do you think 40 thousand naira will be too much for this kind of computer? And can I get any recent UK used laptop in that kind of price range

What area of programming are you interested in undertaking?

Your Laptop's specs is OK for someone just starting out.

I know little about programming for now, I ordered for the laptop just to make sure I have some necessary tools before starting it, from the things I read online I think I will like to start with phyton. I love web design and android app coding.

Please someone should advise me, I want to learn programming from scratch and I've ordered for a laptop but I don't know if this laptop can do the job as it looks like a low end system.

I love Obaseki so much, the majority of people supporting Oshiomhole on Nairaland are Yorubas, most of them have never been to Edo state before, I'm a Yoruba boy from Ondo state and I've been a resident of Edo state for 7 years so I know what's going on, you all APC miscreants should shut up, Obaseki will win this primary election and he has my vote in the general election....

PS no God father can succeed in Ondo state and even Tinubu will not try to impose any rubbish candidate here, go back and look at Ondo state's voting pattern and see how unpredictable we can be.
