mine was on a Sunday afternoon , I just finished the semester exams and I decided to travel home to relax a little bit before resuming for the following semester, (just 2 weeks holiday) I refused to go to the church that very day, my mom was disturbing me and was trying to force me to go to church, as a sharp guy I told her I don't have transport fare and money for offering (I was lying though) she gave me 500 naira that very day, I collected the money, left home and went directly to a viewing center, played bet9ja, and ps2 till around 12 then came back home, was having 200 balance from the 5h so I decided to go and recharge with the remaining 2h, my infinix hot 4 fell down on the road and went off immediately, I just knew it was God that punished me, wanted to repair it and they told me to bring 18600 naira, the panel was damaged already, I promised myself I won't spend that amount of money on a stupid phone.
finally I was able to recoup 3k from my 38k by selling the screen.
PoliticsConstitutional Crisis Looms As Cjn's Tenure Ends In Three Weeks by Georgry(op): 4:26pm On Mar 31, 2019
The nation may be plunged into a constitutional crisis in about three weeks as the tenure of the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Muhammad Tanko, comes to an end, SUNDAY PUNCH has learnt.

Muhammad was inaugurated by President Muhammadu Buhari on January 25, 2019 following an order by the Code of Conduct Tribunal that the substantive CJN, Justice Walter Onnoghen, be suspended and the next in line of seniority, be sworn in.

However, the constitution states that the President cannot re-appoint an acting CJN unless on the recommendation of the National Judicial Council.

Onnoghen and Muhammad are facing a probe by the NJC, the body responsible for the discipline and appointment of judges.

While Onnoghen was given a query by the NJC to respond to allegations on why he failed to declare some of his assets as required by law, the acting CJN was asked to respond to a query on why he allowed himself to be sworn in by Buhari without the recommendation of the NJC as stipulated by the constitution.

Onnoghen has challenged his suspension before the Court of Appeal but the appellate court has withheld judgment for unknown reasons while the case before the CCT has been given an accelerated hearing.

Buhari will only be able to extend Justice Muhammad’s tenure if the NJC sends his name to the President for confirmation.

The President will subsequently be expected to send his name to the Senate for confirmation.

Clarke said the constitution is clear that the appointment of judges should be on the basis of seniority and since Onnoghen remained under suspension, the NJC would have to extend the tenure of Justice Muhammad, who is also being probed by the council.

He said, “The Constitution will not allow a vacuum in any instance. It says the most senior judge will take over as acting CJN. After three months, the NJC can recommend another three months. He has no definitive tenure. It only said if the position is not vacant, the most senior must act.

“The NJC can recommend Tanko (Muhammad) again. I know the NJC will do the right thing. They know more than you and I, they know what to do. The constitution says the most senior. So, the NJC cannot recommend just anyone. Let’s not speculate.”

Also speaking with our correspondent, human rights lawyer, Jiti Ogunye, believed there would be no constitutional crisis because Nigeria always found its way out of such issues.

Ogunye added, “The point is when that time comes, a way would be found. The NJC that is still grappling with the issue of the treatment meted to Onnoghen, which is still considering petitions against him and that of the acting CJN for the fact that he presented himself to be appointed by the President, is that the same NJC that will have time that will be considering what will happen to him in three weeks?”

SportsMeet The Richest Footballer In The World "Not Messi Or Ronaldo " by Georgry(op): 8:38am On Feb 24, 2019
Who is the richest footballer in the world? Meet the mega-rich Brunei royalty in Leicester City's ranks

The 20-year-old Leicester academy midfielder is the most valued player in the world, though he has yet to make a senior appearance for the Foxes
When you try to think of the world's wealthiest footballers, it's natural to have your mind immediately flit to the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar or Cristiano Ronaldo – or perhaps simply a formidable player playing for a top-class European club.

Alexis Sanchez earns £350,000 per week at Old Trafford and is the highest-paid player in the Premier League , while Aaron Ramsey will be paid a handsome £400,000 per week at
Juventus.

In reality, the world's richest footballer just so happens to be 20-year-old Leicester reserve player Faiq Bolkiah. The nephew of the Sultan of Brunei, the enigmatic youngster is worth an estimated £15 billion ($20bn) – blowing Ronaldo's estimated net worth of between £200m and £250m out of the water.

Bolkiah has been plying his trade with the Foxes academy, having first signed a three-year professional contract in March 2016. He has yet to make a first-team appearance with Leicester, however, and little is known about his involvement with the reserves set-up.

Regarded as a talented midfielder, Bolkiah – who was born in the Los Angeles and could have chosen to represent the U.S. national team but opted to play for Brunei – started his youth career at AFC Newbury.

In 2009, he joined Southampton 's esteemed youth set-up and stayed there for four years before making the move to Arsenal after the Gunners offered him a trial in 2013.

With the Gunners' youth team, Bolkiah competed in the 2013 Lion City Cup and bagged a goal. It was with the Arsenal academy that he caught the attention of
Chelsea , who offered the forward a two-year deal that he signed. After just one year with the Chelsea reserves where he presumably got frustrated with a lack of game time, he moved to Leicester on a three-year deal in 2016 – where he remains to his day.

Full details about Bolkiah at Leicester are scarce, having only featured for their reserve side and never even being named as a substitute in a first-team fixture. There is little to no information about the player on the official Foxes website – there's not even a roster for their academy side - though a visit to his Instagram, which is his only official social media page, offers more details.

He boasts 122k followers and describes himself as a professional Leicester athlete. According to his bio, he is sponsored by Nike and is active within the team – posting semi-regular photos of his training with the Leicester second string.

He has also made his full international debut with Brunei, first representing his country at Under-21 and U-23 levels as well as the 2015 Southeast Asian Games . He bagged his first senior international goal in that tournament, scoring in a 1–2 defeat to Timor Leste, and has since earned five more senior caps.

Despite never having made a senior appearance at club level, he's probably already made more playing for Leicester's reserve sides than Ronaldo and Messi have earned during their entire footballing careers.
The Sultan of Brunei's brother – Bolkiah's uncle – reportedly spent roughly £7 billion across 15 years as the head of the Brunei Investment Agency.

Prince Jefri Bolkiah is known to have spent up to £35m per month on luxury items such as cars, watches and white gold pens. He boasts an elite car collection that includes Bentleys, Ferraris and Rolls-Royces.

One of the most notable of Prince Jefri's splash-the-cash moments is when he flew the late Michael Jackson over to perform a private solo concert for his 50th birthday .

Prince Jefri has earned a reputation as a notorious playboy over the years with young Faiq Bolkiah sharing of a large chunk of his lavish wealth, but in fairness to the Leicester youngster, he remains humble and keen to focus on his football career because his pure love of the sport and not for the glamorous lifestyle so associated with it.

"My parents have always been supportive in helping me to achieve my dreams of being a footballer," Bolkiah said about his burgeoning career via the Mirror .

"They trained me hard both psychologically and physically through my childhood years, so I have to say they are my role models."
More cursory glimpses into his Instagram show a life devoid of the flashy cars and luxury apartments that his uncle seems to be fond of, and time will tell if his talents as a footballer match the status of his family's wealth.

SportsRaheem Sterling Finally Speaks Out, Accuses Newspapers Of "Fueling Racism" by Georgry(op): 12:56pm On Dec 09, 2018
Raheem Sterling used social media to criticise the coverage that black players receive in the media after he was berated by Chelsea supporters in Manchester City's 2-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Chelsea and the Metropolitan Police launched an investigation in order to establish whether Sterling was racially abused in the incident, with the club vowing to take the "strongest possible action where necessary".

The England international posted a message on Instagram along with pictures of newspaper articles regarding Manchester City team-mates Tosin Adarabioyo - who is on a season-long loan at Championship club West Brom - and Phil Foden, pointing to the different way in which the media covered the duo choosing to buy houses for their parents.

"I am not normally the person to talk a lot but when I think I need my point to [be] heard I will speak up," Sterling wrote."

Regarding what was said at the Chelsea game, as you can see by my reaction I just had to laugh because I don't expect no better.

"For example you have two young players starting out their careers. Both play for the same team, both have done the right thing which is buy a new house for their mothers who have put in a lot of time and love into helping them get where they are.

"But look how the newspapers get their message across for the young black player and then for the young white player.

I think this is unacceptable, both innocent, have not done a thing wrong but just by the way it has been worded.

"This young black kid is looked at in a bad light. Which helps fuel racism and aggressive behaviour, so for all the newspapers that don't understand why people are racist in this day and age all I have to say is have a second thought about fair publicity and give all players an equal chance."
