Politics / Re: Exposed!!! Reasons Why Jonathan Is Using Boko Haram To Bomb The North by gerald09(m): 8:13am On Aug 03, 2014 |
courage54: It is no longer news that boko haram has been causing a lot of havoc in the northern part of Nigeria. And from an analytical point of view I think PDP and Jonathan are the brain behind this incenses bombing which is aim to reduce the voting power of the northerners where the opposition party has it strongest hold!it funny wen I read articles on hw GEJ is destabilising dem 3 state. Let's cast our mind bk to wen GEJ created a committee to give BH in dem 3 state amnesty, WHAT HAPPEND? Then go bk a lil more memory lane, when GEJ was forced to declare a SOE, WHAT HAPPEND? OP I don't kn were u got ur info about GEJ using BH to destabilize the North, it maybe true or lie, But as soon as u brought in d opposition into ur argument den I belived u speaking serious crap! It culd also be that APC is destabilising the North to prove to its stronghold, GEJ can't protect them by causing havoc. Have u wondered y each time a bomb blast or gun shoot hits any political/statesmen its always 'an almost' but wen it hits the citizens it makes headline with body counts. I don't give a damn who it killing who, IT HAS TO STOP. 1 Like |

Ladies and Gentlemen this is what the boss of house of Rep in Nigeria suggest FG shuld do to stop the boko haram disease. "“I have maintained and it remains my position that we should negotiate with the insurgents IF that will bring back our girls. “Let us get the girls out first, then we can go out for military action". Sir what IF dey (FG) negotiate and d girls are not released n dey demand for more then what" Sir I suggest u learn how to be more diplomatic in ur comments. FG has 1s offered boko haram amnesty after the whole country was against n what happened, I remembered BH leader giving GEJ n Nigerians d middle finger nw u want another negotiation. Explain y BH will be kill its own people just to prove a point. Hw do u expect us to negotiate wit such evil, HOW? 2 Likes |

Politics / Re: 2015: APC Is Blinded By Desperation For Power – PDP by gerald09(m): 1:09pm On Jul 12, 2014 |
Longeria: The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a party blinded by desperation to control federal power following its constant attack on the administration of PresidentGoodluck Jonathan. The PDP made the observation in response to Wednesday’s statement by the APC in which the opposition party accused President Jonathan of impunity and failure. The PDP in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, said the statement by APC was “a desperate effusion of noise, fury and falsehood which are the unmasked trademark of the Nigerian equivalent of the ancient Athenian thirty tyrants”who would not mind the nationon its knees in quest for power”. Metuh said the recent statement by APC showed that the opposition party “is trading in its best merchandise – falsehood, deceit, blackmail, sheer pernicious propaganda.“This political party, the APC, is the centrifuge of violence in Nigeria, and like the “thirty tyrants “ in the ancient Athens, it’s desperately looking for excuses to truncate democracy and ruin our collective destiny, but Nigerians are not ready to dig in with them,” the PDP spokesman added. Metuh in the statement insisted that it was on record that no administration in the recent history of Nigeria achieved in its first three years up to what President Jonathan has so far achieved despite unprecedented security challenges.“In the past three years, the Jonathan administration has squarely tackled massive infrastructural development with thousands of kilometres offederal roads and bridges either constructed, reconstructed or rehabilitated while the long forgotten rail system is now steaming back tolife with modern coaches even as expansion of network is on-going.“Various measures for air safety also took centre stage with the vast expansion and rehabilitation of facilities at all federal airports in a gale of efforts that changed the face ofthe nation’s aviation industry inless than three years.“Transformation also touched critical infrastructure in Agricultural Transformation Project where over six million farmers have been empowered and in housing where the Nigerian Mortgage Refinance isanchoring a new dimension in mass affordable shelter,” he stated. Metuh also said in industry and investment, an investmentfriendly environment had been created, effective wealth creation mechanism ensured and competent indigenous entrepreneurs were reaping the benefits and taking centre stage in the global market competition.“The Almajiri education system in the North is a creation of the Jonathan administration just like the YouWin and a SURE-P project whose excels in the improvement of the Nigerian living standard is obvious,” among other projects he listedThe PDP said the outburst of APC was an indication of the fear nursed by the opposition party that it would not do well in the forthcoming 2015 general election. The PDP also insisted that the APC should stop accusing the leadership of the ruling party of being corrupt, saying those who lead APC were more corrupt than anyone can think of.sorry oh just reading dis article and along the way I came across were he said "no past administration" but PDP was that "past administration" so APC is fighting PDP NOT GEJ. |

lwise: My question is ,what is the fixed charge meant for,so if I dont use electricity at all for a month,I must pay a fixed charge.Haba, this is stealing by trick.I agree wif u but dis is private business, "business" being d keyword n for any business to be successful it needs to make profit. With d amount of money spent by these disco to buy into dis business dey will have to make back d money and fast in other to stabilise in d industry during dis time consumers bear most of dis burden but after stabilisation den comes competition by the FG helping to encourage competition. The other option we have is allowing d FG handle electricity, Oops! we already did n we kn d consequences. The communication industry is an example btw the tym cell fone became popular n nw u will notice dat prices have changed n competition is improving. |

phransix147: That one dey think? Him get sense? What stops u from implementing your automobile policy and leave the normal tariiff and duty 4 importation of cars. Let ur policy face stiff competition and leave the choice to we Nigerians... If to go for locally Made (GEJ Suv) or foreign ones, trust me price and effeciency wud determine!Really! Dats ur opinion, U want GEJ to promote d local market n ur suggestion is to leave tax as it is, so I ask were is d "Promoting of Local market"? or u dey vex cos GEJ tot to do dis first or is it d tribal element (Innoson). He will have to discourage importation first b4 promoting d Locally made 1s. Since he didn't band is dats were d competition starts. Dis in turn will provide mechanics with jobs n materials needed, Y do u fink driving an imported car in the US is seen as posh cos d tax u get to pay for it is really high. Nw ur complain shuld be directed @ dese local markets, not sit down dere wit ur lappy n critics cos GEJ is trying to change things, use d phone industry as a case study, every poor person has a cell phone. |
Properties / Re: Abuja - A City Of Empty Houses by gerald09(m): 1:16pm On Jan 05, 2014 |
Abuja a city were 80% of it population works for d Gov directly while 10% get indirect jobs from Gov contracts while d remaining 10% do regular business which dey rely on dis 90% to survive. Now gov official loot money n build house in kubwa, Asokoro n Apo. D Asokoro n Apo is meant for d rich, famous n oda Gov officials so dey put a ridiculous price, so now if all d Gov who steals money build houses and with the stupidi*ty of most thieves they all put ridiculous prices since dey all now rely on dat 20% to come n rent, the kubwa own gets full n Apo n Asokoro remains empty cos "hey I be thief u be thief y leave in ur house wen I can build my own Too". Eventually the price drops cos wen retirement come dey start selling it like a bi*tch on heat. Let face it abuja is not a business state majority rely n wait on budget n contracts. Which after dey get it they take it out side abuja n give it to another state. Wait and see the story of d Rise and Fall of d Abuja housing market. 1 Like |

taharqa: Very sillly and brainless PROPAGANDA. So is it just 1 Transmission Line that a whole State needs? How can you have a 2*400MVA Transmission substation for a whole State and believe that that State wud have anything close to 'stable' power? Are there not NEW Transmission projects ongoing in virtually EVERY State in Nigeria presently by either NIPP or TCN, in order to 'upgrade' the terribly inadequate Transmission facilities? Should it be surprising then that same thing is now ongoing for the State with d Worst transmission/Distribution facilities in Nigeria- Bayelsa?? I mean, any person who have ever lived/stayed in Bayelsa know that it is Only Yenagoa and environs that was recently connected to d National Grid. What of d other parts of d State, esp d more Riverine ones??God bless u, look @ how they stressed the place so dey can sell d idea of GEJ focusing on his region, what I don't understand with dis type of information is dat d Official dey get dese facts from are ghost n always refuse to give dere names or offices which dey hold in other to make d story sound real. Please could we read dis budget cos the propaganda on it is becoming ridiculous n petty. |

U have fought n will continue to fight for us!b!!How sad!! Really Really sad! Its really sad dat no matter what the Nigerian people will keep having d leaders dey deserve within really askin n finding. A pastor/religious leader rapes a child n Nigerians will call the child d devil sent, A politician will be "accused" n the Nigeria people will call dem "e-rat or witch hunting. The story may be true or a big lie but I want to believe Rivers state have educated people dat prefer leaving it as it is "an accusation" until proven guilty. Rather dan joining ur crusade of believing an it is written by d media. Cos if all dese were all lies den Nigeria shuldnt be like dis, don't u fink so. |
