instinct57vm: I have a female friend who got married last year October precisely.
Fast forward to March this year the Mother In Law came to stay with the couple in a bid to visit her hospital within the couple’s area for medical checkup, reason being that she stays a bit farther away in the same state.
Upon her Mother in law’s arrival, she came with my friend’s husband brother accompanied by his girlfriend who all planned staying and eventually stayed without prior notice.
My friend(the lady) is a banker and was only informed casually by her husband while she was at work on the day of their arrival. His excuse was the mother called impromptu about the visit which I don’t think is bad anyway.
These couple stay in a three bedroom apartment and only one room has bed in it. This is the room the couple sleep.
The first two days of the mother inlaw, brother and brother’s girlfriend arrival, the couple had to sleep in the living room while the mother in law and the brother in law’s girlfriend slept in the couple’s room.
As days goes by, the husband who is self employed suggested the the rest of them will handle cooking in the house due to the wife’s tight schedule as per banking job in Lagos.
Part of the consequence of their visit is that they have overthrown the kitchen and like most ladies my friend wasn’t cool with this but tried to keep her cool.
The lady(my friend) became curious and asked the husband to clarify if the mother in law and co intends to stay with them permanently. The husband subsequently flared up with the allegations that his wife doesn’t want his people around. This happened to be the third time his wife asked this question in the space of two weeks.
One thing led to the other on the third time of asking this question my friends husband beat her up and chased her out of the house while the mother stood and watched without interfering.
Efforts to reconcile has proved abortive as the husband refused to let her in again and categorically said to my friend’s dad he isn’t interested in the marriage anymore. The mother in law refused to interfere.
PS: The hubby’s mother is a separated single mother. PS: My friend and her hubby both contributed to pay the rent PS: The hubby’s father is not in support of all the happenings and all efforts to reach his son proved abortive since the misunderstanding. He wouldn’t answer his dad’s calls.
What are your opinions about this issue? Thank you.
she don born pikin?abi na so so english she dey speak upadan?
post=89244067: So I set off to computer village from Lakowe today to do some work on my Pc, on getting to the bus stop today, after a long time home, it was business as usual, but 1 thing was unusual and unexpected.
The bus I boarded to Ajah was taking only 2 passengers per sit, I was impressed that our rickety busses were at least complying, the price was bumped up a bit (N150-N250), but for the 2 per sit, it was a little token no one should complain about for the sake of their safety.
Well, to think i saw it all already, I received a greater shock when I boarded the bus from Ajah-Ikeja, at the park, they were taking 2 per sit too, and 1 at the front, it may not mean anything to people from other parts of the country, but those in Lagos can understand, well, the park officials insisted you must have a nose mask to board the bus, and to top it all, they all asked us to come and wash our hands before boarding, they provided water and soap by the side and everyone must wash before boarding, as expected, the price was bumped from N500 to N800, but if you calculate, the drivers are actually making less than what they used to when they were taking full passengers.
Update - on our way, there was a baba who somehow tricked his way into the bus without a nose mask, while moving, the driver noticed and immediately stopped the car and asked the baba to either buy a nose mask, or alight, the baba had no choice than to buy.
I feel this is a commendable effort that should be appericiated, so I felt led to share.
Larryomooba: Well this will go a long way to give confidence To health workers in the state. Kano sef would av done something as good as this...to increase confidence maybe health workers will Stop running from the state because even if Ganduje Receives the money he request for and There's no workers there would b problem.
SeverusSnape: I say it unequivocally that AdeSINNER is the worst special adviser in the history of Nigeria.
Is it not this same charlatan that said Nigerians should release their lands for RUGA to avoid being killed by herdsmen?
Bubu the mumu was elected by Nigerians (i don't want to say 'mumu Nigerians ), and he's there to serve the interest of Nigerians, So it's not out of place for us to demand a live media chat from him. But no problem, We know he's a dullard who can't even do that. The bubu that i know can't coherently answer questions from journalists; So no need for it sef....
well if he's tired and dont want to be ordered around he should just pack his Calabash,Dalabia and Mat back to Daura and monitor his cattles where he wont be ordered around#ungrateful souls
The man told us this morning, 2023 is around the corner, go and pick your form.
For every Nigerian asking for a Presidential Media Chat, The Presidency has an answer for you: Nigerians cannot “order” President Buhari “around” just because he was “elected” by the populace. what?? are you for real? well i don't blame you,its only in Nigeria paupers and the low lives rule the noble
Germi9: seems you are a male, but you talk like a female..i had to go check ur Monika to know whom the OP really is...smh
crackkhaus: People like your father always get their due when the time comes. I don't believe any of you can do anything to change him because he is a middle-aged man who is already set in his ways. Something miraculous needs to happen which will cause him to look inwards and retraces his steps, otherwise his path is set before him.
Your only priority now should be for your mother's wellbeing...so if you can keep convincing her to create some space, then keep doing that. Ultimately, it's going to be her decision to either remain in the situation or move away for some peace of mind.
seems you are a male, but you talk like a female..i had to go check ur Monika to know whom the OP really is...smh
Mysticwebb: But they told their Zombies that it was a grant, we can see now that the money came with a lot of enslavement packages to make sure IMF get their money back. Even the small farmers in the villages that get 1hr of electricity in four months will join in paying for a loan that Buhari collected and shared among his cliché, family members and girl friends. Zombies and none zombies will suffer together for the decision of zombies who have shown to be in majority. Oma che oo!
now thats the irritating part of the story, they talked about how they will increase the tariff but didn't make mention on how they will improve and give us steady power supply, hence we are to pay for their failure's and the so called IMF nodded their head in agreement#idontireoo
seunmsg: Kudos to him and his team. I pray the drug turns out very effective in dealing with the virus. Those working on developing a vaccine should also double up their efforts. All hands must be on deck to defeat the virus as soon as possible.
Though there's no report of the man's death being linked to the disease, I believe that one of the reasons covid-19 keeps spreading is those people who hold on to the belief that the disease is nonexistent in the country, claiming that the deaths result from malaria.
Because most people in this country don't have a mind of their own, they quickly subscribe to that belief, and subsequently defy the order to practise safe social activities.
they have only succeeded in using Kano as a scape goat to teat run their deadly virus they habe been talking about..this shows how insensitive our government are towards her citizens, bullshit
it is a shame that a Professor would utter such words without thorough investigation about the cause of deaths trailing Kano people..mind you if it where an attempt to depopulate Muslims, the target would rather be on the young, not the old as it is presently now in Kano
ignis: The robot president has been handed a 3 paged written speech that he knows nothing about. He is currently going through the written speech to get familiar with it and read it out to Nigerians by 7pm.
In the entire world, Nigeria is among the 1st 3 countries that has done the LEAST tests for the virus so far. ( Less than 15k tests so far) Ghana has done around 100k tests already...
Here in Senegal, a lab has been manufacturing ventilators that cost less than $60 using 3d technology. Mind you, an average ventilator cost around $15k.
Many labs here too are involved with production of very cheap and efficient test kits for the virus.
Nigeria is still waiting for Oyinbo donations.
Sad buhari
the Army claimed they manufactured the ventilator,my question is who's the guy on suit explaining the process and usage of the ventilator? why isn't an Army officer doing that? who be Mumu?
TITOBIGZ: I think he is in a phase of transitioning,he will come around. I had one too(Ronaldo),not a rott though, after a while he started misbehaving, but he later calmed down.

……..Redeems N1bn Pledge to FG through CBN led Private Sector Coalition.
Mr John Coumantaros, Chairman of the Flour Mills of Nigeria Group (FMN Group) has donated a $1.5 million worth of ventilators and other essential personal protective equipment and testing kits to the Federal Government. Coumantaros, an industrialist and known philanthropist said that the first batch of the supplies, sourced through FMN’s global supply chain, focused on the most essential needs of the government at the moment, had arrived.
A statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja by the Group’s Chief Operating Officer, Boye Olusanya, said that the supplies which will continue to arrive until March 31, will beef up Nigeria’s fight against COVID-19.
Olusanya said that the supplies were an additional contribution by FMN through its Chairman, Coumantaros. The Group had also redeemed an initial One Billion Naira pledge to the Federal Government of Nigeria. He noted that despite procurement restrictions on supplies by several countries to ensure their frontline responders had sufficient supplies, FMN through its global supply chain network ensured that it sourced and procured the critical supplies for Nigeria.
He added that some of the items on the first batch include ventilators, protective equipment and testing kits, assuring that all the supply would have arrived and handed over by April end. “FMN initiated a global supply chain plan to help provide the Nigerian Government with tangible, and tactical support during the global economic lockdown.
“This initiative led by the philanthropic Industrialist John Coumantaros, Chairman of the FMN Group, involved the leadership of the NCDC, Ministry of Finance, vendors from 5 Nations, multiple logistics partners, and a team drawn from the FMN group’s operational leadership.
“The team scaled through varying national restrictions on medical supply procurement, limited stock, transport restrictions, but stayed resolute in the race to help Nigeria manage and flatten the curve. “The medical supplies will facilitate 100 per day field-testing capacity and 35,000 laboratory-based testing capacity.
The supplies included: 331,000 pieces of PPE (N95 Masks, Coveralls, Protective gloves, Protective eyewear) enough to provide regular use for 10,000 Nigerian health care professionals over two months. “There are also 75 Ventilators. These supplies will be delivered to the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) to ramp up the capacity in Nigeria,” he said,
He said that the medical supplies procured from Dubai, United States, Canada, Greece and China have started arriving Nigeria from April 18, through to April 27.
