TravelRe: Kisarazu: Things To Know About Japanese City Now Hometown For Nigerians by Gerrard59(m): 4:45am On Aug 24, 2025
pansophist:
it is just name, doesnt mean Nigerians can move there.

Japan is one of the most homogenous country in the world. You will almost never feel at home there. Just visit, study, do your business and leave.
The Kisarazu is even better as it is in the Kanto region (where Tokyo is located). The other cities allocated to Ghana, Tanzania, and Mozambique are even worse. They are in far-flung areas with very few foreigners and especially Black people, and in temperate regions.

PulaPower:
It’s not that deep! It’s just their culture! They love staying in their lane! They’re quiet people and barely make noise! You’ll hardly see a Japanese traveling to Europe or USA! If you have manners and you con hear the language, you’re good to go..

I hope you know that there are black Japanese? There are also Mixed Japanese? I understand your point but it’s not that deep like you think..
I understand the homogeneity and even link it to their safety and high social trust levels. However, at the bold, you cannot be a "Black Japanese". Japanese as a nationality differs from it as an ethnicity.

I don't know if you are a lady. If yes, and married , can hardship or worse situation make you send your nudes to men for money?
Of course. Why do you think sex workers are greater in poorer countries compared to wealthier ones? It is linked to poverty. So, yes, most women, if push comes to shove, would sell their bodies for money. Marital status has nothing to do with it. It is poverty.

I'm the architect of my own choices. I never said my sole purpose in life is to be fûcking multiple women.

And yes...for me, sex is free...I never had to pay for it. I have been paid for it. And the key is always improve yourself as a man. The more high value you are, the more options you have. And if you are like me, you don't need to spend before they come. They will come, they will sniff your value and overcompensate in hopes that they will be chosen.
Good lesson. Hopefully, every man out there reads and assimilates. What I just believe is that women are just billiers. They are an expense. Being with a woman means one must spend somehow. The more women, the higher the costs. The key thing is to spend on a woman who likes you (as the man), not to spend on a woman to like you.

What do you call the one we are currently doing where a bank manager in Nigeria will sell his property to raise 60million naira to finance his relocation abroad, only to be washing toilets for those not up to his status on a level playing field?
Honestly, I find it hard to believe a bank manager would move abroad to wash toilets. Even selling his property to raise the funds is another question to ask, but moving to wash toilets as a bank manager? I find it hard to believe such a person exist.

You are wrong. All Africa men love women and sex as much as Nigerian men BUT WE ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO PEDESTALIZE THE ISSUE BY USING MONEY TO FORCE A GIRL'S ATTENTION.

That's the issue right there. Without money, most Nigerian men think they can't get women. Other African men do get women based on mutual attraction. And I know most of the Nigerian men you talked of are mostly from the East and some from west and south. I don't know much about the northerners.

I don't spend money to attract a girl's attention and never will. I have said it here often. No phones, rent, houses or any of that shiit. Any woman I have given gifts of clothes have already spent 10x that much on me. That's what the redpill or it's other variants online keep saying. Go for who chooses you and let them invest in you. YOU DO NOT NEED MONEY TO ATTRACT WOMEN. IF YOU DO, YOU ONLY ATTRACT GOLDDIGGERS AND YOU LACK SELF ESTEEM.
Praise God!!!

We agree on one thing today.

Gerr.ard59, can you shed more light on this?
The news is largely accurate. The issue is the "special visa category for Nigerians". Nothing of such exists. Everyone goes through the existing visa categories or paths. It is a city where Nigerians can interact with Japanese authorities with less paperwork compared to other cities.
This is the initial report before our news agencies and blogs picked it up: https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2025/08/18/japan/society/jica-hometown-cities/

Stockholm syndrome is affecting most of you, basic lifestyles is what most Nigerians called a luxury and that's the reason i didn't include my budget list to the original post because to me they are basics but many will term them luxury . Many don't even know things have really changed, they still believe that with 10m,they can build a house and buy a car.
Sorry, but that is not entirely true. Things have changed, and that is why you, too, should adapt to change. Since you know that what you called the basics have now become luxuries due to the cost of living, you plan ahead, and the biggest form of planning is having fewer children. In fact, it has its name "family planning". That is the biggest cost of living planner any man in Nigeria can have. Everyone cannot be an Odogwu or a Chief Executive, but by having fewer children, the man can still enjoy the "luxuries" of life regardless of the past, present, and future economic conditions.

In the developed world, many have a maximum of two children so they maintain their current standard of living, which involves eating out periodically, embarking on foreign trips, changing cars, and buying fashion items. I have come across couples like that - they travel outside once a year and change their wardrobes. How many children? One or two. Never seen any with three children. The problem is that you want to maintain these "luxuries" while having 500 children in a country whose GDP growth rate has never hit 5% since 2015. Sorry, but that is not possible. All Nigerian men cannot be an Elumelu.

P.S. Read that again, for almost fifteen years, Nigeria's GDP growth rate has not hit 5%.

grin grin cheesy cheesy

They are fond of blaming the current government or economy on their woes.
Useless people.
You will see them claim they have what it takes to take care of their kids when warning them. Some will say mind your business, they didn't come to beg you for money to train them.
The truth is, when you look deeper to their claim of being able to take care of their families, you will see it is just so called Basic life - eat basic food, pay average school fees and that is all.
You will think these set of people can even give above average life to their kids and themselves for claiming to have what it takes for breeding like rabbits - eat balance diet (emphasis on BALANCED and not just eating to survive), good schools (emphasis on Good and not just basic), then we go into extracurricular activities like swimming, boxing/taekwando, music class, going to cinemas for movies, occasional outings and vacations, even health/education/life insurance for principal and beneficiaries.
You will think most of these idiots breeding like rabbits have all these but NO, majority don't yet they boast of how they have what it takes to take care of a large family.
To be fair though, basic living is common with most people. Most humans are average, including in the abroad. Nothing too exceptional. Even if na well known public schools, it is still okay. My focus on having fewer children is because of the costs involved as they become older. In the olden days, children were assets, but today, they are costs. Also, I am more concerned with my standard of living. Just because I have children does not mean my own standard of living should drop. I had a life before children, and must maintain (with room for increment) that standard after having children.

Don't you think if we have more men that are spending less on their women, women would start demanding or expecting less from their men?
The thing is: we spend on our women. It is largely cultural. I think the state of the economy has affected men's spending power, but spending on our women is something we take pride in. Obviously, this has made some of these women become entitled, but we caused it. We use money to attract women, whether in Nigeria or outside. I won't forget the Liberian lady on TikTok with big yansh who Nigerian guys beckoned to move to Lagos, where "big boys" would spend on her. In other African countries, our men are noted for trying to outspend the native men. As noted, this is not possible outside Africa where our spending power no reach. But it is ingrained in our men to spend money on women. Our men LOVE sex so much and would spend anything to have it. We have men marrying today and carrying side chics tomorrow. We have men who buy houses for side chics, men sending 500K to random girls simply because the girls are "beautiful", going to girls' hostels to carry women etc. In fact, one of the driving factors many young men want to make money, even by all means, is so they can have sex with many women, and this involves money. Womanising is a rich man's sport.

I see this GehGeh's reign as a mere passing movement. This is not the first time, as we have had Stingy Men Association, Patrichary FC, and many more. Nigerian men would keep spending on their women.

We don't know where you live or the standard of living you had when things were good. Someone who lives in Ikoyi has a different standard of living compared to someone who lives in Ogudu, and the cost of living in Ikoyi is also different from that in Dutse GRA.

Where do you live? Does your wife work? What do you do for a living? Do you pay rent or own your property? What assets do you have? What is the age range of the 500 children that you have? Why did you go on to have 500 children in the first place? Were you not alive when Buhari destroyed the Nigerian economy between 2015 - 2019? So, why have 500 children then blaming an innocent Tinubu? Tinubu sef does not have 500 children, nor his son Seyi.

Gerrard...you need to wake up
I said most of his ideologies are unrealistic, not all. Telling men to avoid paying the school fees of a girl he is not married to is realistic and makes sense. However, the other ideologies are not realistic. Our men would continue to spend on women, both related and unrelated. When it comes to sex, our men go all the way to spend. Sex is where women have the upper hand.

It's for you to answer 'Yes' or 'No', but if it's a 'No', compare both eras using evidence.
I maintain my stance that there's nothing happening now that didn't happen before. The ubiquity of cameras and platforms at the click of the finger made it seem such things happen recently.

It would be dishonest to criticise GehGeh without criticising Ndi feminazis who ruled the Internet space between 2015 - 2020. Then, person no fit drink water drop cup. Men lost jobs and got "cancelled". Uloma abi Ulxma, the cheerleader, once called for the kpai-ing of men. Whether she knows her father is a man or not, I don't know. Nkechi Bianeze has been on Facebook championing "iron condemn preek". There's Saidiboj who has mocked "broke men" endlessly. Nigerian broke men don suffer sef. They get a lot of insults, one would think Nigeria is a wealthy nation.

Allow GehGeh to be. I've watched only one of his videos as I find most of his ideologies to be unrealistic. Nigerian men love sex and would pay anything to put the head inside. So, most of what he says won't be implemented. Nevertheless, he's a necessary evil as it's Ogbono for Ogbono.

Perhaps she doesn't want to get married. The reality is that not everyone would marry. We have relatives who we know are not married, don't have children, or are divorced. Young people should understand that things happening today have happened in yesteryears. So nothing is entirely new. The difference is that things now get wider publicity.

The YouTubers often mention that if your stay is less than 1 year, You should book round trip ticket. Nevertheless, thanks for the clarification. I appreciate 🙏
I saw Malaysia and Singapore in Blackbiar reply. Choose somewhere in the Middle East to transit. Anywhere outside would be way expensive and require two stops, most likely in Southeast Asia. I would never recommend transiting in that region with a Nigerian passport.

Nigeria > Qatar > Japan. One stop o. Two stops and problems begin to arise.

I've advised on a previous Japanese migration thread to read such reviews, which are mostly by Westerners aka White people, but never take them to heart as a Black African. So while those reviews are useful, they don't really apply to a Black African who is hell bent on getting a work visa. See it as a step, when here, change companies (nothing wrong with this as the work visa is yours and independent of the current company you work with).
