All I'd like to reiterate is that having spoken to people at the grassroots (unlike you who I'm pretty sure hasn't been in the SE since this year), I stand by my assertion that the majority of Igbos in the SE have varying degrees of sympathy for the plight of MNK and think (right or wrong) that they owe him this sacrifice. Elbinawi: Breaking: 99.4 % of bank accounts in Nigeria contain less than N500,000 ($800). - NDIC
Mee:
This is worrisome and underlined the prevalence of extreme poverty under the genocidal Buhari regime. Only 5% of individual Bank accounts in Nigeria has N500,000 ($800).
With this statistic by the Bank regulatory body, it is not an understatement to declare that presently Nigerians are extremely poor.
And it was in the midst of this extreme poverty and hunger that Buhari's jobless son recently distributed iPhone13 and iPad as souvenirs in his wedding. The most expensive and extravagant wedding in the history of Nigeria.
#ElbinawiTweets That's breaking lie! Politicians, senior career officials, businessmen and women and individual investors account for more than the remaining 0.6%. |

Icouldhave: thanks very much for this, but don't you think it's a little bit too harsh? we wouldn't want to treat him like a kid or make him feel like we are punishing him for his misdeeds. no matter what he's still the head of the family. He's a kid again, already. And, are you saying that people shouldn't be punished for their misdeed if they fail to heed warning? You have sit him down and talked to him, he didn't change. Time to try another method. Unless you are not ready to take advice but just want attention. I knew a man like that too, he has a son abroad but the wife was no more. The old man was just giving his money to women and playing pool. His son just instructed his helpers to be buying food and drug for him and to give him money that would last him a week. The son didn't care if he wasted it within two days which he would still do. He would call his son repeatedly, he would call his helpers here in Nigeria repeatedly but papa would not get anything until the beginning of the following week. He's still alive today and his people don't care if he had adjusted or not, they handled his case the way they deemed it fit. |

If the UN wants to go after a govt and run it down, can it survive? Go and ask Saddam Hussien and Gadaffi. Who be Buhari compared to these two whose powerful govt was brought down. Continue to be mumu and be supporting a foolish Buhari govt and be asking who is the UN. Brainless fool. So, UN is coming for Buhari because of a terrorist who's responsible for the deaths of over one hundred security agents? BTW: USA is UN while UN is USA |

DuBLINGreenb: This story has HOOGE relevent facts missing or distorted
For only urgent 2k the Nigerian youths I know will tell you everything, with a bottle of beer their fathers will tell you everything, with a rubber of garri, a piece of wrapper or a few tubers of yam their mothers will also divulge information. No need to pay Ransome twice. Feed the community with gala and pure water they'll not only talk, the entire community will help you search.
So it's either the family didn't do enough to get him Or the "youth group" is a criminal organisation Or the entire community was in on the plan including close members of the man's family and people powerful enough to silence the police or atleast shift there eyes away for 2 years Also the police didn't do their jobs at all one small drone, a few patrol vans and one canine unit would have found the man much quicker. Even proper questioning alone would have done the trick. I hope you remember all these and I hope it works out if this ever happened to you |

Like a man left his wife when she was pregnant, wasn't there for her, from pregnancy till child birth but then came home after child birth because his wife called him home.
If this story is real, then something is wrong with this WORLD. lanocfoods: I tire oh, like the poor woman has not suffered enough. OP pregnancy hormone is a thing, it is real and affect a lot of women, gives them mood swings and all. Also try to make a sacrifice in your marriage, if she wouldn't go for family planning you can, there are family planning for men too, don't be too selfish. You let her go through a whole pregnancy with your child all alone, she gave birth all alone and now you are still blaming her for not assenting to family planning, like every goddamn thing wrong in your marriage is the poor woman's fault. I fear for the crop of men these days Lol. So easy to become emotional and judgemental because of the pregnancy most especially if you didn't read his first thread. |

I'm still struggling financially but I don't need help from people, I said this because of the people that called me a scammer that time , and as far as I can remember, it was only one person with Nnamebuka(God bless him) moniker that sent something to me. I don't know why Nairalanders are fond of doing this to their fellow members, it's pathetic. Nothing bad in helping someone who is in need of assistance whether they asked for help or not. It's the least we can do for one another. Even if you can't help, you don't need to discourage others. |

Calicoe: Please don't listen to this man. Oga how can you advice him to go to the police? They will only collect money from you and you won't get any result Trust me. Just let it go and count your losses instead of letting the police add to your misery. This is coming from someone who was trying to track someone who absconded with my money. The biggest mistake I made was involving the police. I provided vital informations like his two phone numbers that still connects till date, his bank details(incase they want to track him through the bank). Yet no result. The only thing that changed with the person was that he moved out of the neighbourhood he was staying yet the police couldn't find him although I'm quite sure they just collected my money and did nothing. The money I gave the police was lesser than the one I was hoping to retrieve but it was the one that hurts most when I lost it to the police. That is why you should just let it go because the police is not going to help you You see now! Tracking a stolen phone and using police to track your debtor has become the same thing? My brother lost his phone (not stolen), we involved the police and got the phone back after about 5 months that the phone came back online plus the money he paid for the tracking and transport to the town where the arrest was made. My ex driver found a touchlight phone in his motor and instead of returning it, he removed the sim and put his own in it. The owner involved the police and it was tracked, he was arrested and made to pay for the phone, the money paid for the tracking and of course the police "service". Quite a lots of people who tracked their phones got it back while many are still pending for various reasons (like phones not coming online, phones tracked to very far distances and things like that). Police are usually motivated because of one thing, the money they are going to make the thieves pay once they are arrested. Copy: danieldinho |

Hahaha! When you (southern governors) were making and passing the anti open grazing laws, did you carry the police along? Did you seek their opinions on the law? Can there be anti open grazing law enforcement without first having the alternative means? DOA! Over 90% of cattle rearing in Nigeria is through open grazing. By the time you arrest all the herdsmen and put them in jail, I wonder where meat for the Nigerians will be coming from? Ordinary beans farmers couldn't go to their farms because of the bandits criminal activities, look at the price of beans in the market today! |
