You will recall, one of the early preventive measures taken by the FGN and most of the governors, was sudden closure of Schools. A development which till date generates mixed reactions. To say, this measure yielded desired results is a discourse for another day.

As it is, the burden of paying school fees in a time when most homes are groaning under the sledge of economic woes of varying degrees, gets messier as most proprietors and their associations might not be putting into considerations the need to fix fee with compassion.

Reports from most of the visited private schools in Lagos State, Oyo State and Ekiti State reflects that parents are resulting to one on one bargain. The idea behind this move is to draw empathy from the bursar, administrator and possibly the school proprietor.

I didn't say "untrue", I said " look untrue". I'm sure they mean different things.

Secondly, I think your fellow Christians need your second paragraph because they are always fast to reject these kinds of discoveries. Some of them even argue that the earth is about 7000 years because that's the calculation from the time of creation. Anything outside that is unacceptable to them.

Presently we don't have dragons but they used to exist as well, the Bible mentioned them. So all these still point to the infallible wisdom of God.

How does this make the Bible look untrue The Bible highlights evolution. The Bible highlights the Big Bang Theory, and the Bible highlights that this universe is very old.

Many of your Christian brethren usually disagree with these kinds of discovery because they feel the earth cannot be that old since it is not written in the Bible.

To them these kinds of discoveries undermines the authenticity of the Bible so I think they are in a better position to answer your question.

The Bible supports pre Adamic race but didn't give details of the creatures that existed before Adam was created. The account of Genesis 1 was a re creation and not the beginning of creation. It doesn't include how angels were created proving there were living beings before man was created.

Neither religious folks nor Atheists have verifiable account of the creation story. Both of them are wrong to believe that God exists or does not exist respectively.

By the way, don't always assume that everyone who disagrees with the religious folks about the creation story is an Atheist.

It has to do with the ego of those who established these hypotheses, they are afraid of being wrong or corrected hence they teach falsely about intolerance and closed mindedness and that ego is still present in humans till today, it's really hard to throw away ones beliefs, that is why philosophical religions (I won't even call them religions) like Taoism or Buddhism support seeking of knowledge, even Buddha told his disciples to seek knowledge and dispute his teachings if found wrong hence the diversity of Buddhism you see today.
