Religion / Re: A Christian Dad Discussed Homosexuality With Son by ggirl4real: 8:24am On Sep 20, 2020 |
This is why I always say that the Christian religion and the Bible is filled with confusion How can some Christian groups believe that homosexuality is a sin while others believe that it is not and both groups use the Bible to back up their points? 1 Like |
Religion / Re: Whatever Will Make You Miss HEAVEN! Cut It Off by ggirl4real: 8:08am On Sep 20, 2020 |
I support the OP eventhough I'm not a Christian Christians, cut off the sin of lieing, fornication, adultery, hatred, bearing false witness, malice, etc. Stop going to work late and lieing that you came early by signing the wrong time. Stop cheating your boss by leaving your workplace to attend church programmes during working hours. Stop encouraging examination malpractice as a teacher or engaging in examination malpractice as a student If you borrow money from people with a promise to return, do your best to return the borrowed money on the due date as promised. If for any reason you can't return, explain to the owner and don't pay tithes nor sow seeds until you have settled that debt Stop using foul words to abuse people who don't share the same opinions, beliefs and thoughts like you Stop abusing President Buhari. He is not your age mate. If you want to criticize his government, do it constructively and politely. Respect for elders also apply to politicians Stop trying to cut corners to become rich quickly Stop cheating your customers by lieing that you bought a product at a higher price so that you will make more profit than you ought to make Let people be able to trust you in business transactions. If you buy goods on credit with a promise to repay later, don't wait for the owner of the business to swear for you before you pay back. Pay your tax Obey the government Don't dump refuse by the roadside or in gutters Stop doing eye service for your pastors to see you as a Christian but your life is the complete opposite when you leave the church ...the list is endless I'm very sure that if Christians practice and do the right things, the ripple effect will be felt in Nigeria and this country will be better than this |
Religion / Re: There Is Nothing Like Rapture In The Bible by ggirl4real: 8:07am On Sep 20, 2020 |
Even if there was anything like rapture and heaven, I doubt if many Nigerian Christians will go. We can't be corrupt like this and still expect to make heaven. If God considers Nigerian Christians qualified for heaven in the first list, then unbelievers will also make the second list. |
Religion / Re: Will It Be Better If We Have Only One Bible Version? by ggirl4real: 7:48am On Sep 20, 2020 |
Christianity and confusion. Why won't there be different Bible translations when a group of people can just wake up, interpret and write the Bible claiming to receive an inspiration from God? |
Religion / Re: Hearing From Jesus by ggirl4real: 7:41am On Sep 20, 2020 |
frosbel2: OP, I completely agree with you. Until Christians are able to prove me wrong, hearing from Jesus is all in the mind. They condition their minds to believe that it is Jesus speaking to them (especially if it the right thing). They have no prove whatsoever to back up their claims. Someone will be sick and then go to the hospital to receive treatment and drugs only to go to church and testify that Jesus healed him. The drugs and treatment you received in the hospital was for what? Was it not healing? They should keep deceiving themselves. 1 Like |
Religion / Re: Sunday And The Stupid People by ggirl4real: 7:33am On Sep 20, 2020 |
OP, they are not stupid for choosing to be Christians. Religion is all about beliefs and they believe that they are following the right beliefs. Right to Freedom of Religious Beliefs is one of the Fundamental Human Rights My only problem with them is their failure to practice what their religious manuals expects of them. That's where I see them as hypocrites, preaching one thing and doing the opposite. Corruption should never be mentioned amongst Christians but the reverse is the case in Nigeria 4 Likes |
Religion / Re: Redemption For All* by ggirl4real: 7:15am On Sep 20, 2020 |
As Christians, let the word of God guide your thoughts and actions. If your lifestyle is contrary to the word of God, then you're not showing a good example to unbelievers |

Religion / Re: How GOD Will Handle The Two Homosexuals by ggirl4real: 7:11am On Sep 20, 2020 |
My question to the OP is: Are these homosexuals and mastubators claiming to be Christians? If Yes, then they deserve judgement from the Christian God If No, then I don't understand why a God whom they don't believe in will punish them for living their lives. Provided they are not breaking the law of their countries, all homosexuals and mastubators (who are not Christians) deserve to live their lives the way that makes them happy 1 Like |

Religion / Re: What Does It Mean To Be Christlike? by ggirl4real: 7:02am On Sep 20, 2020 |
I always admonish Christians to be Christ-like. Today you can't differentiate a Christian from an unbeliever because they lie, cheat, owe, live in fornication and adultery, hate, etc. All the atrocities commuted by unbelievers are also committed by so called Christians How do we expect corruption to stop in this country? |
Religion / Re: Repent World! Jesus Is Coming Soon!! Second Rapture Dream In Barely 2 Months!!! by ggirl4real: 6:59am On Sep 20, 2020 |
I can't wait for this rapture. At least the Christians will leave for their own heaven and we'll have only the Muslims to cope with The little resources in this country will go round the remaining people Abeg, Christians just pray for this rapture to happen fast 1 Like |

BlueAngel444: You said "why then should anyone think that a follower of Jesus would influence the state of a society if God doesn't deem it so by touching or changing it's leaders". Are you saying we should blame God for the current situation in Nigeria since He has refused to change the hearts of the leaders? |
Religion / Re: Jesus Was A Man: The Proof Of Prophets by ggirl4real: 9:41pm On Sep 18, 2020 |
Janosky: Oga, I don't care whether Jesus is God or son of God. I was not there to confirm. All I'm concerned about is that Christians should emulate the lifestyle of their Saviour and Master so that we can have a better society. |

Hello Everyone I'm new to this group. Please I need help. I became very sick on day 21 of my last cycle (which started on 6th August, 2020). I didn't want to take any medication since I've been actively trying to conceive but the sickness was too serious and unbearable. To manage the severe fever and body aches that followed, I had to start taking paracetamol. It helped for some days but I was still very sick so I had to give in and went to Primary Health Centre on day 27 of the cycle. I told the nurses there about my reason for delaying treatment. They took my blood sample for pregnancy test, alongside other tests. The pregnancy test result came out NEGATIVE. Other test results indicated that I had very severe Malaria/Typhoid so I was given injections before leaving the Health Centre alongside other drugs for Malaria and Typhoid which I started taking the next day. I became fine after I completed my medications. I have irregular cycles but it has never gone beyond 38days. When my period delayed to come even till day 41 (yesterday), so I decided to conduct Home Pregnancy Test and the result was POSITIVE. I decided to proceed to the Lab for blood test which also came out POSITIVE. My extreme worry now is the Malaria and Typhoid injections and drugs I took from day 27. I'm I likely to have miscarriage later because of this? If the drugs can affect the pregnancy, what can I do remedy the effect and avoid possible miscarriage? Please I need help because I've been trying to conceive for 3 years now and this is my first positive result. 6 Likes |

All I can say is that couples should learn to give birth to the number of children they can cater for Things are hard If it's only one child you can cater for comfortably, that is enough The era of breeding plenty children with the belief that "It is God that grooms children" is over There's no free money anyway and no one owes you one kobo If you can't afford to take care of a child, keep you reproductive organ in check until you are capable. 3 Likes |
