****
It was a day before Christmas, a sunny afternoon which saw every shadows casted upon the burning grounds. I was sent on an errand to ‘Mama Akeem’ who had a rental shop to go collect bigger pot which my mother will use the next day to prepare rice for the entire neighbourhood (she is famous for her generosity). I passed through the lonely footpath which was a short-cut to my destination, then I suddenly came across Brother Akin, Brother Akin was the son to the famouse ‘Iya-Akin elewa’ (Iya-Akin the beans seller) he had travelled to Lagos for a very long time. I hear he has acquired much wealth in the big-city because last year he even sent me a leather wrist-watch and a pair of under-sized shoes, I guess he must have assumed I couldn’t have grown so fast even though I celebrated my eleventh years birthday with my peers in form one. Brother Akin was also generous to every member of his family; I hear he sends money home to his mother through ‘Akowe agba’ who visits the city every month to go get his unsteady pension.
“Broda Akin eka san, Oma tojo meta (Brother Akin Good Afternoon, it’s been awhile)I joyously ejaculated
“Ojo kan pelu, Oma ti di big-boy niyen, bawo ni mummy ati daddy?” (Truly, it’s been a while, you are now a big-boy, how is mummy and daddy?)
“Gbogbo won wa, inu mi dun pe eyin na wale odun keresi ati ayajo odun tutun, otie ti da, eje kin ba yin gbe bagi yin” (They are all fine, I am happy you came home for the Christmas celebration and the new year, that is good, let me help carry your bag) I collected the two heavy bags from him with jolly smile hanging on my face.
“O seun gan, bami gbe bagi yi fun maami, ko ba mi so fun won wipe mo n bo, wipe mo sare fe yooju si baba alagbede loke-odo, Gba ikan odun tie (thanks a lot, help give these bags to my mother, and help tell her I will be back, that I quickly want to check upon the Black smith up the river-bank, take your festive gift). Brother Akin brought a two shiny coins from his trouser pocket and stretched it towards me.
“Ahhh!! E seun gan sir, olorun a jeko dafun yin sir, owo yin a ma ro ke sir, emi yin a gun sir…..” (Ahhh!! Thank you very much sir, may God bless you sir, may you prosper sir, may you live long sir…) I confusedly showered whatever I thought could be a prayer upon my God-sent benefactor who has just made my Christmas and new-year celebration juicy.
I made a quick ‘about-turn’ and ran as fast as my legs could carry me towards Iya- Akin’s compound, ‘Iya-Akin’ had been a widow for the past twenty-years and brother Akin was her only child. As I was on my way to Iya-Akin’s compound, I realised brother Akin didn’t say ‘Amen’ after I had prayed for him, he simply made a deep sigh and had a depressing outlook, It was obvious he wasn’t happy.
“it could be the stress of the big city called Lagos….. abi he has got family issues…..abi his business is not moving very well….abi he….Wetin be my own self…huh?.” I discarded the idea of asking him whatever could be bothering him whenever he comes back. I then focused on drafting a blueprint on how to spend the two-naira I just received.
About five minutes later, on reaching the popular ‘Iya-Akin compound’, I heard and saw a lot of people wailing and crying, I saw few men and a lot women grieving, I heard people say a lot of emotional words, I heard people asking strange questions, I saw people answering such questions in tears, I saw Iya -Akin looking like a mad woman in the midst of group of women who were all busy consoling her amidst tears, her cloths were torn, her eyes were sore with tears flowing freely, her hair were scattered, her body was lightly shaking, her nose was dripping of mucus, her veins all shot out, and her mouth kept grumbling.
“Ayee mi ti baje, won ti pa mi ona idunu mi kan so so” (My life is ruined, they have killed my only source of happiness) Iya- Akin suddenly busted out like a lunatic whose child had been taken from her.
After seeing an entire strange attitude by everyone and most especially by Iya-Akin whose son had sent me to her, I concluded something bad must have happened and maybe that was why Brother Akin seem to be unhappy early. I walked into the midst of gathered sympathizers to quickly go deliver the message of the arrival of brother Akin’s arrival to his mother who seems to be in a very bad mood. I walked pass everyone towards Iya-Akin with the two baggage on both arms. At first, it seems awkward as I was about to tell her of her son’s arrival to the village but It I have to deliver the baggage to her in whatever state of mind she could be.
“Oya jade si ta, kilon she ni bi?” (Common go outside, what are you doing here) one of the female sympathizers harshly whispered to me as she pointed towards the door indicating I make use of that direction).
“Broda Akin lo ni kin fun mummy won ni awon bagi won yi” (Brother Akin said I should give his mother these bags) I replied in an innocent tone.
“Broda Akin wo?” (Which brother Akin) she asked with a tone that sounded more shocking than surprising. The room slightly went quiet and most of the givers all had their eyes on me by then like I was a sought of an outcast and there I stood looking puzzled.
“Broda Akin Jegede, omo Iya-Akin, won ni kin fun….” (Brother Akin Jegede, the son of Iya-Akin, he said I should give….) I pointed my finger towards the direction I had earlier encountered brother Akin and pointed to Iya-Akin respectively as I spoke with higher level of certainty.
“Igba wo lori keyin!!” (when last did you see him?) Another woman snapped at me like I was been interrogated for stealing our village oracle, and the room totally went quiet at that moment and all eyes and ears was to my next word like I was the ‘Abore’ (Village-priest)
“Koyi ti ju iseju mewa lo, awon gan loni kin fun mummy won ni bagi yi, wo sini awon o ni pe de, wipe awon kon fe yoju si baba alagbede ni ona oke-odo” (it’s was less than ten minutes ago, he was even the one that gave these bags to me and instructed i give his mother, he said he will soon be back, that he only wants to go check the blacksmith down the riverbank). And by the time I was done explaining all I knew, it felt as if I was in the midst of hungry witches and wizard whose life all depends on my flesh and blood. They all looked at me like I had just vomited abominable words and that made me regretted coming across brother Akin in the first place.
“Na which kain bad soap I use baff dis morning sef?” I rhetorically asked inwardly as I began to tremble in the midst of the piercing eyes.
“Ahhh!! Ahhh!!!!.... oma she oo, shey iwo oma wipe Akin ti ku lati ale ana, oku re lo fara han e” (Ahhh!!!... what a pity, don’t you know Akin had died since yesterday night, it was his spirit that must have appeared to you) an old woman sitting close to where I stood suddenly said as drops of tear rolled down her tribal-marked cheeks.
At first, I felt the woman was talking to someone else behind me or maybe she heard me wrong or maybe she had also gone insane just like Iya-Akin or maybe I didn’t understand what ever she was trying hard to explain to me.
“Definitely I was the one who do not understand whatever she was trying to say” I concluded within me and was curious to understand what the woman had said earlier and that made me asked the same question for the second time hoping to get a clearer understanding of what the reply would be.
“Akin ti ku lati ale ana, woni awon ole yinbon pa bi o ti fe soda titi yi, gbogbo eru re ni won si ko lo ” (Akin had died since yester night, they said he was shot to death while he was about to cross this street and all his belongings stolen) another woman elaborated and pointed her finger towards the street across Iya-Akin’s compound.
The way I felt that particular moment was unexplainable, I felt I had walked into the midst of insane women and that got me really scared. I felt like dashing out of the tensed room but it was too late. One of the women held me firm by my thin arm, I assumed she was trying to console my state of insanity; she must have noticed I was off-minded after calling me several times without response. Surely I was off-minded; how could I beliefe that the village women whom I had respected all ganged up to play an unsuccessful prank on me?, how could I belief that the man I saw few minutes ago had died many hours ago?, how could I belief that the man who gave me money for the Christmas and new year celebration was a ghost?, how could I belief that brother Akin whom I thought i had seen earlier was just the end result of my own mysterious illusion?.
“Never, that was not an illusion….. I saw him” I tried to convince myself.
As I was in the process of convincing my self that the mann I had seen earlier wasn’t dead, I was almost practically dragged into another quiet and stuffy room by an old woman who was a distance relative from my maternal side, the room was a bit dark but I could manage to see after a strained eyes.
“Oku Akin ni yen, shey oti ri?” (that is Akin’s remains, have you seen it?) she simply pointed to a long figure covered in white cotton. She looked down at me and must have notice the doubtful appearance on it, so she moved closer to unveil whatever was beneath the white cloth for me to see
And yes I saw it!
I saw a human figure laying still on the mat
I saw the split image of brother Akin…..No, not him…I mean it can’t be possible….. shocked shocked shocked
I cleared my eyes with my palms to confirm the true identity of the deceased.
“Aaaahhhhhh……broad Akin!!!!” I screamed so loud that my head suddenly went blank…. (I was told I fainted afterwards but i remembered waking-up a week after the new year in 1998)

THE NIGERIAN LECTURER

* Many of Nigerian tertiary institution's lecturers do feel too big to comment on their students' post on social media.
It's a clear difference between black lecturers and white lecturers.

* Most Nigerian lecturers behave as if their students will not graduate for life.
Some intentionally mass fail students to portray themselves as strict lecturers.

* Most Nigerian lecturers are lazy yet they want their students to be hardworking.
They don't consider themselves as bad examples for students.
* Some Nigerian lecturers textbooks are carbon copy of foreign authors.
Still they will reject students' project because they copied.

* Some Nigerian lecturers' spoken and written English language are very bad yet they will always deduct students marks for grammatical errors.
Don't mind all my errors in this post. I was trained by Nigerian lecturers tongue

This doesn't mean you cant find a really good intellectual Nigerian lecturer angry .
Shoutout to all amiable and super standard lecturers cool

Like wide fire during harmattan, the news of Zendaya’s encounter with Death itself spread within and outside the Baruu kingdom. It was believed by everyone that “Zendaya and his men encountered Death itself on getting to their destination and it had challenged them one after the other into a mortal combat in which everyone of them were defeated by it apart from Zendaya who stood firm to the ground like a giant Oak tree, looks straight into its red glowing eyes like an elegant Eagle and pounced upon it like a fearless Tiger as he wrestled Death for days and nights until Death was tied and could fight no more. Death had to give out a virgin girl to Zendaya for his bravery and great strength”.
Whenever Lord Zendaya hears the version of his own fabricated tale of how he ‘wrestled Death’, he knew within him that it was just a lie, a lie which he purposely fabricated to boost his ego and the glory of his kingdom, a lie which he saw necessary so as to create fear into the heart of other stronger kingdoms, a lie which will portray him as the most fearless ruler who defer Death itself through physical combat, a lie which shall forever be passed from one generation to the other.
Every night, Zendaya kept having that same nightmare, that dream of which he had knelt before the strange figure which was believed to be the true Death itself, he remembered the deadly echoes within his head as Death spoke and as he had knelt before it to state his request, he remembered as Death had affirmed to have “Granted!!!” his wishes, he vividly remembered how Death had moved closer to the virgin girl who was then unconscious and had lightly opened its mouth to pour out a small amount of its dark dust-like content into her as it entered through her mouth, he remembered how death had instructed him to “Go with her, for she is now a mother!!!”…..he remembered how he had journeyed back home without the company of his trusted warriors but instead, the company of an unconscious virgin girl.
___
The young girl whom Zendaya had brought along from his journey was nicknamed ‘Amma Alolo’ (gift from death) and ever since she had been brought into Baruu kingdom, she had remained a source of mysterious talks for she had been unconscious ever since she was brought in and her stomach had kept growing bigger day by day without no sign of fetus dwelling in her womb. The king’s wise-men advised Zendaya to quickly destroy and go discard the ‘Amma Alolo’ (gift from death). Saying…… “For a gift from death will bring nothing good but total death”.
Few months later, in the middle of the night, three beautiful baby girls practically struggled out from ‘Amma Alolo’s (gift from death) already dead body. Lord Zendaya was surprise to hear the news of the babies arrival, he was glad not to have listened to the advises given to him by his so-called ‘wise-men’, he called for a great feast as he invited dignitaries from every known kingdom around to come dine and wine with him for the birth of his estrange daughters. Dhina Phirona, who was a great magician, illusionist, adviser and one of the emissaries sent from the kingdom of Egypt could fell the cold wind of death and destruction hovering upon the three beautiful identical-looking baby girls, he quickly and secretly called the attention of Zendaya and his wise-men that they should as soon as possible “go destroy these demons for they are bound to forth bring great calamity and destruction upon the entire world……for if ignored, we are doomed!!”

Nice piece and a wonderful plot. However your story Is disjointed and in explicit. Note tiffany's observation about the meeting with soji. Read more of dan brown it will help your kind of plotting need proper tensing and editing as well. I like your use of flashbacks and oral traditions. Looking forward to the completed script. I invited u to ma BBM. We could talk some more. Keep it up
it was nice chating with u on bbm.
Like i said earlier, i never plan what to write ahead untill i lay my hands on the laptop keys and that is why u see the disjointment but i will properly edit the write-up as soon as i am done with the story (maybe till 2016) grin. i have not forgotten about my lady Tiffany's observation, i will surely put everythiing in check as soon as i know exactly where d story is heading because i truely don't know where it's going to end (me i just dey write wetin God dey put inside my head oooo) undecided

3114 BC (FIVE THOUSAND AND A HUNDRED YEARS AGO)
Many years before the existence of the Kushite Empire, Carthaginian Empire, Kingdom of Numidia, Kingdom of the Vandals and Alans, Kingdom of Nekor, and the great Emirate of Sijilmassa, there lived a king by name great Lord Zendaya who ruled upon the Kingdom of Baruu. Baruu was a small kingdom surrounded by more greater and powerful empires who had always possess themselves as threats to it through the past years and the ambitious lord Zendaya was not comfortable with it as he knew sooner or later, his Kingdom will be crushed and would surely be for the taken. So he wanted a lasting solution to the shame melted upon his people, he soughted the advice of the wise men who gave the best they could come up with.
The next month, Lord Zendaya yielded to the advice as he journeyed alongside his kin’s-men and they rode for days and nights dashing through the stormy rains, scorching sun, deadly winds and dangerous forests. After two months of riding through the continent of Africa from it north to it south, they found the place they wished for and it was exactly what the wise-men had earlier described it to be. A small cracked hut in the middle of a very thick savannah forest with an old quaky looking woman as it only occupant welcomed them, she was of no doubt a witch and was ready to be of help to anyone who could dear come seek for her rear and mysterious help.
“He that wishes to attain the impossible must be ready to do the impossible, are you ready to do the impossible my dear Lord Zendaya?” the witch asked after listening to her visitor’s request
“I am ready to do anything to protect my kingdom and its people” Lord Zendaya replied boldly without the slightest hesitation.
“Then hurry and go get a beautiful virgin who will be sent to hell tonight” the witch said as she gave a sinister look towards the king and his kin’s-men.
“To hell?” the men all asked in unison as they look surprised.
“Yes…..to the corridors of hell.

***
From a neighbouring community, a beautiful virgin was practically kidnapped and presented to the witch by Lord Zendaya’s men before the mid-night. The witch bent and whispered into the young beautiful virgin’s ears and she fell to the ground unconsciously.
“Lord Zendaya, are you sure you are ready to have the impossible” the witch turned to the king and asked ones more
“Yes, I am ready”.
“So be it” she said conclusively and stood upright to raise her hands up towards the sky and shouted “on behalf of Lord Zendaya, the ruler of Baruu Kingdom, I call upon the four gods of the land, the sea, the fire and the air tonight to come together and help take a message to death itself deep down the corridors of…..”
After several minutes of strange wordings and voodooish incantations by the witch, the atmosphere suddenly and drastically changed to be very windy and thunderous, the atmosphere was dangerously electrifying by nature and it brought greater panic upon Lord Zendaya and his men as it was so strange to their sightings and reasoning. Suddenly, everything went quiet and totally still, nothing from many miles away could be heard and it felt everything on earth went lifeless that exact moment causing every tree around to go dry. Lord Zendaya’s men all fell to the ground lifeless like a log of wood held of no root.
“What in the gods name is happening here…..talk to me woman” Zendaya shouted fearfully to the witch who by that time had fallen to the ground unconsciously but still alive. Zendaya bent and held her by her held and requested to know what was happening.
“You asked for it Lord Zendaya and now it’s here” She managed to say
“Who is here?”
“Death!!”

***
A dark smoky dust-like image creped out from no obvious direction and took to a hollow shape of human with no distinct body part, it looked like a wood covered with a black cloak and appeared strange to any living creature. Zendaya was the only creature standing alive, he shivered with fear and disbelieve as he stood and gazed upon what he disbelieved to be the ‘impossible’.
“You called for me…..Zendaya!!!” the words echoed inside of Zendaya’s head and almost got him unconscious.
“Yes! Yes!!....I want my kingdom to be so powerful and indestructible by any man or woman on earth, I want to be the most and ever powerful king that ever ruled the surface of the earth, I want to be the ever mighty Lord Jazaa Khanu Zendaya the greatest" Zendaya bow is head as he struggles to pick his words of requests
"Granted!!!"

CHAPTER TWO
DAUGHTERS OF DEATH

VOICE OF THE NARRATOR
Professor Walter Brown of the Greenfield University of London was one of the renowned and most successful archeologists his time ever knew, he was well known for his great curiosity to research, explore and extract whatever was believed to be a myth by his colleagues of same profession. One afternoon, Professor Walter was having an academic session with a group of his best students when one of his brightest students out of curiosity posed a question to him. Professor Walter was taken aback by such an unexpected question; he had feared someone somewhere someday will ever challenge him with such a dreadful question.
In 1926, Professor Walter Brown answered the question by embarking on a journey to the northern region of Africa, he led a group of young and zealous archeologist with him and where lead into the Sahara desert of the northern part of Africa using a paper map, a lorry filled with research equipment and an Africa escort who seem to be familiar with the roads.
After weeks of road search, Professor Walter and his crew finally got to their destination and were set to begin work immediately. Every equipment and crew where set to work as everyone was curious to see if what they had thought was a myth turns out to be a true happening after all. Every crew knew what was at stake if Professor Walter’s led research turns out successful, which make them all rich and famous.

….
Mr.Koli, The African escort who had accompanied Professor Walter and his crew soon got wind of the aims of those he had followed for weeks; he was shocked to his bone after knowing what the 'white-people' are up to. He raised alarm and warned them about the consequences of what they are about to embark upon, he told them the story as legend has it about what had happened to a certain glorified kingdom which was enchanted and destroyed by a very powerful curse which still dwells and lingers around, transforming a once fertile and lively environment into a shadow of itself and a ruin upon which they now stood presently. All the 'white-people' laughed to Mr.Koli's so-called supernatural power that still dwells around, they made fun of black men in their believes in supernatural occurrence and concluded that Mr.Koli's believe was a practical example.
Mr.Koli walked up to Professor Walter and asked to be payed off for his service that he could no longer be of any help to them any longer, he was persuaded to wait and that he would be rich and famous if he joins the team in discovering the undiscoverable. Mr.Koli turned down the offer and was paid off for his services but before he left, he gave the Professor and his zealious crew a piece of his heart by saying "you are soon all going to discover what the real daughters of death looks like…..for I pity the blood, the veins, the hair, the bones and the flesh that makes you whole".

***
For days, the research team worked day and night trying hard to achieve what was assumed by other archaeologist to be the impossible. Professor Walter stays awake in his camp-tent all night as he reads through a crappy scroll that holds the tale leading to his mission. He thought about what Mr.Koli had said days before and that had reassured him that he was on the right part to finding the greatest treasure the earth had ever hidden and not minding how many lives would be paid for it discovery.
After seventeen days of digging, tracking, sand exploding, pipe-lining, earth aggravation and hole clasping, a member of the crew discovered a gold-colored object in a shape of a normal human being, he quickly called upon his colleagues who were also shocked and happy to what their eyes beholds. Professor Walter encouraged his crew to work harder that there is more underneath the earth; he told them that that was just one out of hundreds yet to be discovered, the crew intensified their effort and within few hours, they had dug up about two-hundred and thirty human sized gold. Every member of the crew was marveled at the availability of surplus wealth in such part of the world. Every gold that was dug was in a shape of a human being or an animal which all had the look of fear or horror like they had frozen in the sight of something so horrific. Most of the golds took the shape of people who had been on the run, while others looked like it was in a sleeping position.
“What on earth happened to this people, were this gold carved by men?” one of the crew member asked.
“No man could ever have carved these much gold into the shape of human and animals and decides to bury it, I think something unspeakable happened here” another crew member suggested.
“You are right, something unspeakable really happened here thousands of years ago which transformed this once fertile kingdom into a pure evil for itself” Professor Walter suddenly cut in with an air of authority in his tone, he took his time looking into every member’s eyes as they obviously looked shocked by what they just heard. Professor Walter continued “What happened here was known to no one until an anonymous writer documented it and dropped it in one of the libraries where the information now gradually spread till it got to my hearing, I was challenged by one of my brightest students for why haven’t I dare try explore this place to which we stand our ground presently”.
“Sir, but what exactly happened here…..I mean, what happened to these people?” another female member asked as she fearfully pointed at one of the gold that had the structure of a grown man looking directly at her in horror.
Professor Walter brought out a crappy scroll from his bag and read through it “it says here that there was once a kingdom that had angered the three daughters of the so-called death himself and that death had personally came down taking the form of a darkish dust-like form which enveloped the kingdom and transformed every living object on its way into a pure gold, and that is why they call this place The Kingdom of Death’s Gold, and that is why few people around the world mostly here in Africa belief that death itself still lurks around to watch over it gold”
“Bullshit!! Only a fool would belief such a crap” one of the crew spat in disgust as he viewed such a tale to be a mere fabrication only to scare people from extracting the raw gold. Many crew members also followed suit in the disbelief of such a tale and they continued with the extraction of more gold buried far below the earth surface. After about an hour later when every member of the crew were at their peak of duty, an awkward silence crawled into their midst like someone had ordered them to keep quiet. Every one of them kept mute and looked around them with an expression of surprise hanging on their faces, no one wanted to neither talk nor be the odd one in breaking the chain of the sudden silence. Suddenly, a light breeze blew across the vicinity where the workers are, whispering the unbearable sound of horror and creating a vision of the imaginable image of death itself as it laid it venomous hands on every mortal being across it path, transforming it into a hollow structure of gold.
Within a twinkle of the eye, everyone except Professor Walter Brown had transformed into raw gold of the exact structure they were and all of them seem to have similar facial expression of witnessing fear and terror. Proffessor Walter looked around him in fear as he saw the lifeless gold statue of all his crew, he ran out of the underground tunnel onto the surface of the earth and ran away like a mad rattle dog from the site as he kept asking himself aloud “Why keep me alive…..why!!!”

kristisking:
This man keeps talking about insecurity, sectarian violence and the rest.Let me ask him;who created all these in the first place? We all know how you keep supporting these evils just for you to use them against GEJ in your desperation to clinch power. The mayhem you caused in 2011 is still fresh in our minds.Any man who has no respect for human lives can never rule this country.God has destined it for you never to rule this country again and you never saw the handwritten on the wall. Its a pity. Those yorubas following this man like sacrificial lambs do not have the interest of this country at heart.Your people were sluttered like goats during 2011 elections and here you are again supporting the same man at the center of 2011 post election voilence.GEJ may not be performing according to expections but what makes Buhari and his loyalists believe that he can turn things around?Nigeria needs a God fearing man and not pretenders who can change like chamelions when they assume power.Nigerians think well.
Brodà seun, this is why i need a DISLIKE button for this foolishh comment...I pity you and GEJ come 2015.

“Now you two are getting me confuse, how do you expect me to belief your stories? it all sounded unbelievable” Nana said with a confused facial expression after listening to Lamide and Eva tales of what had brought them both to her.
“I honestly do not belief it at first but I had to ever since the night my boyfriend died mysteriously and Eva here made me realized that he died due to something powerful inside of me and that is what had led us here to Ghana” Lamide sounding sober and fighting hard not to remember how Soji had died.
“I am very sorry that you had to surfer for what…..” Nana tried to console Lamide who was now sobering quietly when Eva suddenly cut in.
“Listen girls, I didn’t just travel down to Africa for this fuccking reunion, I am here to finding solutions to my problems and I will need you both to act maturely” Eva shouted angrily as she couldn’t sit to watch the two ladies in front of her getting so emotional.
“And what make you think I am the person you are looking for?” asked Nana
“Coz’ my mum said it’s you, she gave me the exact address…..and here we are” Eva sounded so convinced and sure of her actions.
“And what makes you think your mum was right?” asked Nana
“Coz’ she was the same person who told me how to find her” Eva pointed to Lamide who was still sobering.
At that point, Nana remembered what her mother had written in the diary about her ‘two sisters’ and she wondered if it’s true that she had finally met her ‘sisters’.
“Ladies, if I may ask, are we in anyway related to one another?” Nana asked curiously hoping to get a positive feedback immediately.
Eva and Lamide looked at each other with a disappointing looks; they had felt Nana should be in the best position to enlighten them on their mysterious situation and to help find solution. Eva threw herself heavily on one of the sofas and feeling so disappointed, she felt she had gotten to the end of road for a search into who she really is.
“Damn it! But mum told me we gonna find answers here, she told me you alone holds the key to who we really are and here we are without a damn thing……what a waste of time” Eva screamed out loud as she faced no one in particular.
Nana was certain that her mother was indeed gifted with extraordinary power which could have made her see into both the past events and into the future, she realised Lamide and Eva were the ‘sisters’ her mother wanted her to read the dairy along-side with. Without words, Nana dashed into her room and came out with the dairy in her hands.
“I am very sure this is what you are here for” Nana announced as she pointed the dairy to Eva
“What is this?” Eva asked as she collected the dairy and flipped through it.
“My mother must have foreseen your coming, she wanted all three of us to read it together.
“Obviously your mother must have been a white witch just like my grandmother” Lamide said to Nana
“Wait a minute, it’s all now making sense…..it means the three of us have definitely got a female witch for a family member and it seems nature had brought us together for a purpose” Nana sounding so surprise and felt she was at the peak of discovering something unbelievable about herself.
“Should I read it out to you girls” Eva asked looking into the dairy
“Yes!” Lamide and Nana confirmed in unison.
