It was a sunny but busy afternoon for Bayo, he had just finished with his last patient before his shift ended. He was getting set to leave the office when his phone rang; he smiled on seeing who it was. “My guy!” Bayo hailed his childhood friend “What’s up?” “I dey o!” Philip’s voice replied from the other end of the line. “How far, you dey busy?” “I’m done with my shift, wetin dey happen?” Bayo asked with an anxious tone. “I get gist for you o!” Bayo thought as much, Philip had never run dry on real live gist, he knows something about every celebrity within and outside the country. But the gist he had that afternoon was even sweeter. “I met one fineeee babe last week online!” Philip started. “Bayo, you need to see how beautiful this girl is” “I don’t need to see anything, I’m married already” Bayo said as he laughed. He could predict how Philip’s narration will end. A regular tale filled with detailes of steaming sex and heart break for the ‘fineeee babe’. “Bayo you are missing out, being married doesn’t mean you should imprison yourself to that your wife. Try dey flex with other babes. This life is too short to be trapped with one woman for the rest of your life” Philip for the umpteenth time brought up his philosophy. “But guy I thought you swore to get settled with Mary the last time we spoke, what changed?” “Nothing has changed, I swore to marry Mary but I never swore not to Bleep other ladies, can you see the difference?” Bayo shock his head as he laughed “Philip, na only God go deliver you” “Guy as I was saying about this new babe” Philip resumed impatiently “We hooked up online and before I know what was happening, she called for us to meet the next day. Bayo do you know the craziest part” “I don’t know please tell me” Bayo replied with fake curiousity. “This babe booked me a flight to come meet her in Abuja” he said emphatically
“You don’t mean it”
“I swear, no lady ever bought me a flight ticket, it had always been the other way around. I showed up in Abuja few days later and we met in a hotel. Bayo you need to see how curvy and beautiful this babe is, all smooth and classy” “Wow” Bayo exclaimed with the image of a sexy model in his mind. For a moment he envied Philip wishing he had same lax and daring spirit enough to fulfill his sexual fantasies. “Tell me more” “This lady couldn’t even wait to get her hands on me as we enter the room, we helped each other pull off and began to kiss like crazy. She pleaded that I give her a head. I did with all pleasure and in return she sucked my dick right before we went into rounds of sex. Bayo you need to see how this lady kept pleading for me not to leave, you could see in her eyes she had never had it that good. She swore she would had made me stay back in Abuja if not for her fiancé who would be in town” Bayo frowned “You lost me there, is she engaged?” “Yes, I got to know as well right after we are done. She said she didn’t want me to feel awkward and besides that her man hardly spends time with her. I quickly told her I had a fiancée as well, so no string attached and she agreed” “Guy did you use protection?” “Nope, she insisted we go raw” “And you agreed? Are you serious?” he sounds alarmed “Relax, she showed me report of her recent health status, she is clean” Bayo heaved in relief “But guy you still need to be very careful” “Nothing will happen, I trust my instinct but anyways thanks. I need to go back to work” Philip said. “Ok no problem” “My regards to your wife” he hung up. Bayo smiled as he ends the call, he doubts if Philip would ever settle down for marriage. “What a guy!” 2 Likes 1 Share |

By the the edge of the pool Philip stood watching the love of his live swimming, Mary smiled back to the dark tall man while trying the back flip. Suddenly, the pool turned into blood. Mary cried as Philip tried to rescue her out of the pool but something inside the water dragged Mary in. Philip watched in horror as Mary struggled before she drowned into the pool of blood. “Noooo!” he screamed.
***
He opened his eyes and heaved in relief on realizing it had been a nightmare, he was happy to see his wife Mary still laying beside him. As he tried to go back to sleep, his eyes caught the frame of a human standing in a corner of the dim lighted bedroom. “Who are you?” his voice trembled to the realization of a possible armed-robbery. The figure who was clothed in an all black vest on a jean stepped closer to him enough for Philip to see the face. For a moment he couldn’t believe his eyes, it was a lady, a woman from his past. “Yemisi?” he called out, not sure if it was really her. “Yes Philip, it’s me Yemisi and I have come to pay you back” Yemisi said while fumbling with a short gun aimed at the man. Philip looked horrible on his bed, not sure if it was another episode of nightmare, he couldn’t belief his eyes. How did she get into the room? What the hell is she trying to do? “Yemisi please don’t do anything stupid, don’t try to do what you will regret for the rest of your life” he mumbled. Yemisi’s eyes beamed with mischievous glee while telling Philip that she’d already done something stupid to the woman laying beside of him. Philip’s heart sank as quickly switches on the bedside light to see what Yemisi was talking about. His breath ceased as he saw Mary laying lifeless on her part of the bed soaked in blood, her throat already slit. Despirately Wishing for it to be one bloody nightmare, Philip tried to scream but couldn’t as Yemisi threatened to shot him if he does. “Wha…what the hell have you done Yemisi?” Philip struggled to ask after finding his voce. “You destroyed my life, you Philip made me the monster that I am” her face tinted in mischievous satisfaction as she began emphatically. “I’d sworn to make you pay for what you did to me, to take every bit of happiness within and around you for what you caused me” “Yemisi you’ve got it all wrong” Philip cried, his body shivering in pain as reality dawned on him in connection to Yemisi’s words. “It wasn’t me” “You are a bloody liar Philip” she stiffened the gun to aim at his head. “Wait Yemisi please don’t shot, you need to listen to my side of the story” Philip pleaded. “It’s too late Philip, there is no going back for me” Security officers had reached the door and are knocking hard in attempt break the door open. “Yemisi please, just listen”
Bang!
Yemisi had pushed the trigger, her body trembling and her mind relieved as Philip laid dead with a bullet in his skull. Slowly she pointed the gun to her head…and pulled the trigger.

lhordspy: Let me say a little about this game Tinubu and kwankwanso are playing...
It is called Non-zero-sum situation
Non-Zero-Sum situation involves a situation whereby one person's win doesn't really and necessarily means another's person loss, and also one person loss does not really means that the other person wins. Vice versa. Which translate to that in Non-Zero-Sum Game or situation all parties could gain, or all parties could lose.
This is the situation of Tinubu and kwankwaso... It is very obvious Kwankwaso can never win 2023 . I think all this crowd-pulling can just be liken to story of a man who wants to atleast show is political strenght or put his political influence and might on display OR maybe a man who is trying to pull the greatest political strategy of all time. We call it the Last card method . The one pulled by Aminu tambuwal. But this seems way way different, something brutal and 'Finishing' .
It is 98% sure that Kwankwaso will never move to Atiku's camp at the end. So, that tambuwal strategy cant really work for atiku in the person of kwankwanso this time, it is completely off the table because it will be hard for a certain shekarau and kwankwaso to be in same party. It has always been a battle for supremacy between both.
Since, shekarau is already with the main opposition,PDP with Atiku abubakar as the presidential candidate. That is where, the Non-zero sum situation comes into play. Tinubu winning doesnt mean kwankwaso will lose, and Tinubu losing doesnt mean kwankwaso will win.
Kwankwaso is left with no other option than to join Tinubu's camp.... And that is definitely what will happen at the end. The signs are there, it is just a matter of time.
Now the question is not will Kwankwaso eventually align with tinubu, that is imminent. but the question is What are these guys cooking? What is their game plan? I think Tinubu is going to make Kwankwaso his Last card, i see kwanwaso declaring for Tinubu just at the eve of the election. And that will be game-over .
Jabagan, king of strategy. Just give it to the man. If this is all Tinubu has got, then he is not as smart as I thought. |

Even in the military, you have women who put on their skirts.
Trouser is not for women! It's for men. Even if the whole women Worldwide put on trousers, it doesn't make it right. She is not man! And so her putting on skirt is not a crime.

Your level of writing is usually a reflection of the level of literature that you read. eeetuk: Spearman "Tinubu, Obi, going no where. Nigeria is a failed colonial project now under Fulani control."
To your point,Tinubu is not going nowhere, and I agree 100% Mr. Tinubu is very indecisive person--something that led President Buhari to fail. Nigeria dose not need someone who is slow in decision making because it can lead to loss of lives. We have seen many loss of lives under OBJ, Yar'Adua, Goodluck Jonathan and Buhari for been indecisive in national security policy. That is terrible
So, I am so glad all Nigerians have witnessed what kind of President Mr. Tinubu would be if, and God forbid, he gets elected. What Nigeria needs now is a president who is very decisive in decision making. When enemies and terror groups like Boko Haram and IPOD notice weakness in the President of Nigeria, they exploit it to the detriment of Nigerians--leading to loss of lives.
Right now, Atiku Abubakar is the man to beat. That is because he tickets all the boxes correctly, beginning with his selection of Ifeanyi Okowa as VP. I'm sorry to say this sir. You don't have the commonest of political sense. You had better be OBIdient. |

biode03: The casting is perfect, cinematography is great, story is superb but with a lot of flaws, kudos to them though, but if you have seen foreign series you won't rate this more than 6 or 7, how the hell did the hired killer with a suspicious dressing sneake in a gun into a 7 star hotel hosting a 7 star wedding with heavy security details, how did kemi and sarah compose themselves so much right after a murder?, something they have not witnessed before, how could akin leave kola for so long that a murder happened and as a bestman he didn't know?, how did they have so much time that they had to dismember a whole body at a time when the bride's mother and family were suoposed to be with her after her groom's disappearance?, how did sarah and kemi get the hotel uniform that perfectly fit them, had to move the body from their suite all the way down without real staff crossing their path and nobody saw their moves on the cctv to alert appropriate office?, how on earth could a security man not know the staff of the hotel and he got to know about the disappearance of the groom and there is no scene showing top management of the hotel being worried or call an emergence meeting about the incident?, how was a gun found on a buried body and no forensic was carried out to know the prints on the gun?, this would be a big deal in a foreign movie, how can sarah and kemi hijack a whole ferrari and no scene was shown where denrele reported a missing car or the car being tracked or chased, how can fugitives be walking on a road bearing in mind they are on the most wanted list and not cover their faces, they even accepted a ride offer from total strangers, so many flaws in the movie but for a nigerian standard they tried but they can always do better....nothing stops them from critiquing their movie before being released I almost thought I was the only person who noticed these obvious flaws. I will rate it 5/10. |
