comrChris: Our major problem is low self esteem, poor sense of patriotism The comments here made me revisit Ui, Unilag threads, I can't tell you that there's nothing spectacular about this over edited UG. We just have a way of talking down on anything Nigeria, and we can't even hide it for a second Thank you sir, this is exactly the same thing I said...its really unfortunate how low Nigerian youths have gone...so much inferiority complex. They didnt even tell you how expensive this 'best school' in Ghana is compared to the 10k naira we pay Nigerian public universities. |

Seunfretty: fine we celebrate mediocrity too much in Nigeria but at the same time we let the hatred for our leaders and system make us see anything outside the nation as heaven....the picture is nice but I still think it isn't spectacular....OAU ..UNILAG or UI ...have better structures than this but the environment are just nt well maintained as this ...one place that has a very good maintenance culture is UI and I can tell u is nt so far behind to Uni of Ghana am seeing here... Thank you o,its as if I am seeing something different from what others are seeing.there is nothing really spectacular about these pictures that we dont have in our universities, but Nigerians have a very poor sense of patriotism about their country. Its a shame |

Have you ever gotten 24 hours electricity in your kiosk before?

maestroferddi: We are too exposed and cosmopolitan to contemplate killing other people...
Just tell your people to be broad-minded...Ghana is almost always guilty of this small country syndrome...
Most of their policies are made to stifle Nigerian interests in Ghana...
There was a time they made one funny law about home videos and films...laws that targeted the unstoppaple growth of Nollywood...
In the final analysis, they were made to look ridiculous because their A-list thespians flouted the directive to their chagrin...
Ghana should work with Nigeria and not antagonize her...
Let me not even talk about attempts geared at de-markeing Nigeria ....the pastime of Ghanaian politicians... They still try and de market Nigeria.they want to be called the shining light of the region. Its just a pity that most Nigerians dont understand this and keep on hyping them.smh |

CuteMaro: Lol. I think you are the one who is living in ignorance and self denial here. GHANA IS BETTER THAN NIGERIA IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY YOU CAN THINK OF. Seriously maybe you should just try to move outside for once. Tickets are cheap. Nigeria is a failed state. Trust me you will be shocked at how basic things that look like rocket science work outside our shores. It is really unfortunate bro. I believe Nigeria will be better someday, but right now please you cannot and should not even compare Ghana to Nigeria. A visit will leave you bowing your head in shame. Trust me lol.
Meanwhile the person you quoted has not said anything wrong. Imagine Ghana testing 113,000 already. Maybe you should check out worldometers to know the actual figures and see how the supposed giant of Africa is fairing amongst other nations. Nobody should celebrate yet. If 113,000 tests produce about 2000 cases with just 17 deaths, compare that with 13000 tests producing well just about thesame number of cases and even more deaths.
This should give you a clue as to how incompetent and lackadaisical the Nigerian government is in handling this issue. To be frank with you, the figures that is being released by the NCDC cannot be used as a basis for lifting the lockdown because that is not the actual reality on ground. Our only saving grace would be when a vaccine or cure comes out else we are sitting on a long thing. Use your imagination bro, imagine what the figure would be if we tested just 50,000.
God bless Nigeria. Joke is on you bro, anybody that stats facts has not been outside Nigeria..as if you know where I am.lol |

Ebonyeyes: We cannot even dare compare Nigeria to Ghana. Ghana is a functioning state and Nigeria is a dysfunctional state. Ghana's president went to Oxford University, Nigeria's president cannot even provide his WAEC results, instead he claims someone saw him in the exam hall and that is proof enough. To you, anything outside Nigeria is better than your own.you need better self orientation and self discovery. In case you dont know,Nigeria dont do mass kit testing like Ghana does.which is the WHO protocol for COVID 19 Testing. The new Abott PCR machine bought and installed in 6 labs in Nigeria is one of the best in the world, its the type they use in Canada. But since you dont value what you have,I'll leave you to your ignorance.#Peace |

Inferiority complex is an issue affecting many Nigerians and thats why travel agents capitalise on their foolishness and self hate to decieve them to smaller countries promising them heaven and earth only for them to get there and notice that grass isnt greener and the locals there are also strugling to get few jobs available hence xenophobic crisis
Should we also snap pictures of selected areas in Nigeria, like Ikoyi, VI, Eko Atlantic, Abuja Business districs, Kano metropolise, Maitama, Asokoro .. beautiful parts of Portharcourt then we can also decieve people
Anyways, while we keep rubishing ourselves online so that people from Ghana , Togo and Kenya can ridicule us, the Lebanese, Chinese and Indians are trooping in to enjoy what we hate while our people are going out to slave off in mere kenya

Litmus: Sometimes it feels to me Nigerians just don’t understand the world because Nigerians look at things too deeply and maturely. Setting aside GUPTA and their history of closing down Nigerian shops at the slightest of none-provocation, this entire Ghana/Nigeria border issue could just boil down to something as simple and silly as Ghana trying to flex muscles in order to impress their new African American citizens. Ghanaians have gotten into the ugly habit of wanting to play to the international gallery at Nigeria’s expense. If the Nigerian government makes the mistake of offering some sort of dispensation to Ghana, in lure of the Ghana government appeals to Nigeria, you’ll see Ghanaians take to the world stage declaring how Ghana is now the major power in West Africa, able to control Nigeria in order to save the smaller west African Nations that Nigeria was “bullying”.
The world is a childish place, the sooner Nigerians show less respect for it, the better. You understand the situation playing out very perfectly,Ghanaian are of recent trying to get more popular by bringing Nigeria down in the international space. They rejoice over any negative news coming out of nigeria. They are all over instablog ready to copy any ugly video of of nigeriaa and past it on their blogs for the world to see.Im so pained cos my fellow Nigerians are not seeing these things and keep on shouting Nigeria is a joke.bla.bla.bla.How many cities and airports do Ghana have.we just don't know how great and powerful we are in comparison to other African countries. Ghana is shouting 2019 is a year of return for African Americans as if they are they only country affected by slave trade..am sure in some few years time..water will find its level |
