Stmema:Lmao, I can imagine the purging that would have followed, though I doubt your baby would have agreed to eat that. In addition to what other mamas have said I hardly give my kids anything I can't eat myself. So the key is to make baby-friendly versions of your every-day adult food. My kids won't eat blended boiled rice, so I blend dry rice then boil. Same goes for pasta. Some kids don't mind tho. If it's like plantain or potatoes, I boil and blend then put back in the pot and cook like normal porridge. Blend dry rice then cook it like you'll cook your normal jollof rice but with little or no pepper and maggi and bones. Hope you're not using canned Sardine, instead buy fresh fish, as well as fresh ginger and garlic. Don't mix ingredients that would normally not go in the same meal. You can coom soup with the spinach and feed him semo. |
hunniesuzie:Jan 3 |
MumDiamond:Pele, it's all part of the pregnancy package. I think pregnacare is okay. You should have started antenatal by now, they would add more routine drugs when u need them. |
hunniesuzie:How did I not know you were team January, Amali would soon have birthday mate. |
Pearl05:In this thread you've recommend Orange water for newborn Coconut water for newborn Pap for newborn It haf do, and we should edit the thread title and rename it 'pregnant women and native doctors'. You're missing the point that just because you gave something to your baby and he survived it doesn't mean it's now food to be recommended for babies. @ the bolded, giving a baby that young pap is indeed abusing him and denying him all the nutrients he needs, what nutrients are in pap. Especially since the baby doesn't even have the luxury of breastmilk like your own baby did. |
Anugod:Just tell them your story at the hospital, they will know which one you deserve . I don't even understand the story of my own TT, I took two during GB, took one during Amali (I dodged them until third trimester), then when I went to do BC, the matron at the health centre told me I don't have to start over. |
MamaDG: Fattamyfattamy:Lmao, I was only joking with that woman biko. Baby number 3 kor when number 2 is still crawling. Even if my mission on earth is to born back all the Igbo people that died during the Biafran war .Congrats and happy bumping to you guys. |
BabeOk1:Buy mupiderm ointment for the boil, it would dry it up in 2-3 days. How long has he had the catarh, if home remedy is not working, maybe you should take him to the hospital. |
Nimi22:You must have missed my bs for number 3, we're working on 4 now ![]() |
DaCharis2016:I hope the crying is not due to hunger. You can change to a cheaper brand of milk and feed him whenever he's hungry. Try to give him milk until at least 4 months then you guys can gradually introduce pap, cereal and pureed foods |
Anugod:That MS is your punishment for making too much mouth in the past when this belle was trying to enter. Acting like Mama general of birth control things. Sha accept my sympathy. ![]() |
Fattamyfattamy:My former teamie I see you hovering again, you people are not wasting time to do this thing ![]() |
Pweetiebabe:Yayyy congrats. I was so happy to read this. Happy bumping. |
philsjoe:I don't think it's normal. It's possible someone around is making him sleep a lot so that they can have some free time. if that's not happening, then maybe you guys are boring him. Buy him a football and take him out to play sometimes, take him for evening or morning walks, buy him a colouring book and some crayons, building blocks, toys. Let him watch cartoon or nursery rhymes sometimes.Or is it that he's always tired or he has stuff to do and just keeps falling asleep in the middle of doing them? In that case, take him to A doctor. |

Follyshowbaby:You should go to the hospital immediately and get it tested again, sometimes it could be an error in the reading or a one-off thing that will still go down. Either way your baby is almost term so no need to be scared, just go to the hospital. |
Anugod:Lol at least he likes water. |
Brownsun:Because she's not an amebo |
Mike to Khafi: What do you think Gedoni says when he's watching you. Khafi: Why are you always hugging Omashola |
FloraEC: MIL woes. |
philsjoe:I think that's strange. What's his normal day like, does he not have other kids to play with, tv to watch, does he go to school, do you guys not engage him, why is he sleeping all day? |
ArewaMomma:Plenty discomfort o, pooping day is always interesting day for us. But mine is over 6months now and even though he hardly accepts food, he likes water so i give him plenty water, plus he only likes bumbum blocking food like bread, gala and pancakes so his problem is many |
Speaking of Silverbird. I recently went somewhere to see a new born baby, and then a group of older women came to see the baby too and as soon as they arrived, they declared that the baby was underweight then advised the mum to get silverbird oil and start applying it the baby's soft spot everyday to increase her appetite. I don't know which mother manufactures all this advice from the pit of hell and then makes it trend. Biko silverbird oil is way to conc for anybody's skin. It would probably burn my skin if i tried it. A mama here once wrote that she was advised to do the same thing and she ended up giving her newborn baby a serious burn on her head. Hearing the advice again made me realize it might now be trending practice. Biko poverty and frustration makes people do a lot of questionable things to their babies, which they then try to pass off as cool. Eucalyptus oil should not be put anywhere around your baby's skin, don't mix it with your baby's cream, don't give your baby a drop to swallow. It is not palm kernel oil .Finally, if you have a new born baby, you owe it to him/her not to listen to the older women around you, this includes mother and mother in law . Most of them would say anything to remain relevant. If you're having double mind about following 2qqqany of their advice, then you probably shouldn't or at least ask here first. Thank you for your time. |
Adequate459:If it's serious, take her to the hospital let them rule of infection. If it's just difficulty breathing at night, you can do steam inhalation before bed, (put hot water in a bucket, carry your baby and sit over the bucket, cover your head with towel and let her inhale) or you can put a drop of silverbird on your pillowcase at night so that you'll have the smell of it in your room all night to help with breathing, also keep her warm all night cuz the weather is still cold, we are currently sleeping with all the windows closed. |
ArewaMomma:My son is still doing this at 8 months. Doesn't really eat solids, poops once a week. |
Goldenheart002:You suck at keeping a diary. |
MizzD:It can not be zero self awareness. She has a totally different background from Seyi. So her idea of measuring achievements are clearly different from his and yours. Her being from a poor background might be what makes her want to brag to coverup. While Seyi's once-rich grand father also led to his own over bloated ego. Either way, I like her, you cannot collect my like, she a nice girl when she opens up but she has her walls for a reason. Tacha for the money ![]() |
MizzD:Even though she has the complexion of mango that's been forcefully ripened, the more i watch her the more i like her. I thought she just used to snap half naked pictures on Instagram, but i once heard her saying she sells all this 'red lip' kit abi what. So she's a business woman ![]() |
MizzD:Lmao, so you people are now bullying people that support Tacha. |
keeki:Lmao, they would come back |
