I've had them for 5 years and my hair isn't very strong. If your hair grows faster you can achieve more length amd volume in 5 years
Yes. It has to be natural. What I did when I started was to do artificial dread (then it was with wool that was reigning) carried it for 3 months, loosened it and cut off the relaxed portion of my hair.

@Giddyperson loooool. My loctician is locitude on IG. She's based in Lagos but takes appointments in Abuja once a month cos she goes 1 weekend every month

Oh even better, I'd check out the insta page. My hair is natural already and medium length so hopefully I won't have to deal with any chopping.

Eyah sorry teamie, atleast school should be on hols now so you can rest. That's how my baby refused to sleep last night too, and when the baby frustrates me, I frustrate hubby. I can imagine having to do this with Zino and without Mr. Alex at home, you are really trying but you are almost there.

The kind of contractions I was having last night, I almost woke up to go and pack hospital bag, so I'm gonna do that first thing this morning, for real this time . Funny enough I didn't even go for any evening walk yesterday, tho I did a lot of housework.

lol when the person I'm waiting for is not waiting for me. I know my mum would have done worse if she was the one coming sha.

As for castor oil I've seen many people on YouTube use it, but I googled it and saw one particular review that got me scared even tho most reviews were positive. I'm sha not taking again, or I'd only take after I've passed EDD and gotten desperate and with Drs. Permission.

Oh my God menstral cramps has been killing me since last Wednesday and real labour is not just coming, having irregular painless contractions, I just pray all is okay my leg hurts with all day cramps. Pls is any April mama experiencing this too because am worried. My vargina hurts so bad too. Pls mothers that have given birth did anyone experience this too? Especially the frequent cramps yet no sign of labour. 39+1weeks today.
Team April who is next? Let the BA/BS start coming in. Wish us all easy delivery.

Jesus Christ, 30 minutes indeed where am I walking to biko? Well I'd try that today, I'd even do 40 if that would induce labour. I actually love walking but I'm just scared of overdoing my own.

How do you know what abacha is biko? Thought you were Hausa . How do you even get abacha in Zaria? when it's so hard to get it in Lagos. As for MIL, guess it's normal for them to wait until you born, but I feel like those first few days might be the hardest, so I'm still pissed. What's up with your mum, is she still vexing?

Tell it to calm down, 13th is still far. Hubby just told me that his mum would be coming few days after I give birth . When I was busy trying to postpone labour while waiting for her arrival. . I give up, today I'm going to go out and charter pineapple, Zobo, castor oil, any other thing that's been known to induce labour. I'm tired.

This evening walk, how long of a walk is it actually supposed to be for it to be effective, cuz me I'd do one small walk and start feeling like the weight of the world is lying on my pelvic bone and I'd just enter bike and go home. [s]Am I the only team April that still enters bike, my husband is tired of shouting[/s]

Thank God for actual locs. Didn't have to worry about delivery hair. Only thing was by the time I went to retwist my hair after delivery it was like a forest. My loctician said we could start new locs with the new growth

Thank God I finally found someone with real locs, I hope to continue from here when I take down this one, hoping it forms dreads as they said, so by then I'd channel all my questions to you.

As for the dream, babe called me and started telling me how she had a bad dream and I should just pray cuz she doesn't want to tell me the dream. Normal me would have told her to swallow it o but pregnancy brain here went and started asking her to tell me. And after she told me, I just got pissed at the height of the wickedness. Mtcheeew

Of course I'd smile with the friendly ones but not all of them come as friendly advise o, some women just mutter their advise as they are passing by you as if it's quarrel.

No, they said I should come back next month for the packing It better get finer when it's older cuz my husband told me this morning that I remind him of the deeper life girl that used to stay in his uncle's shop some years back After all my investments

Lol I did dreads o, they took all my money and promised that I can carry the hair for 6-8 months and also wash it when I want, plus my hair would turn to dreads when I loosen it, it seemed like a fair deal at that moment and it wasn't even painful while she was making it, but even she told me to go home and take paracetamol 'cuz it would pain you later'. The pain was out of this world. Got so tempted to get a scissors last night and cut off everything from the roots, but my Ijebu ars couldn't get over how much I paid for it.

Yep, haven't had any labour or delivery related dream, atleast none that I remember, maybe cuz delivery is still far in my mind
