I don't know much about the excercises but you can ask google. Accidentally peeing yourself while pregnant I think is sha normal, ive seen so many people complain about that.

After all the walking I did yesterday around Eko market, still not even one sign of labour. Who said these things even work, I'm about to give up.

My Doc said yest that I'd do scan next week and if the baby is up to 4kg it's an automatic cs. Then he felt the baby with his hands and said she felt like a small baby. I hope those scan machines cooperate next week sha cuz they can lie.

See this people. ...you ain't seen nothing yet . When I had my baby, the nurse that was assigned to do it initially had a MIGHTY HAND! Oh Lord....it was like rape ...I couldn't stand the pains of her big hand for long...another nurse with a smaller hand did it for me....it's was sooooo uncomfortable! Did the first week....no Labour...did the second week...no Labour! Chai! After each sweep, I usually walk like some one raped by 10 guys! Last last na induction commot my baby sha.

@Mooretes Hi finally told the doc about the ice chewing theory and got my pcv tested, he said I'm good. I'm just a regular ice chewer lol

Personal items for new mum what i suggest based on what i used :

Nursing bra and breast pads

Your biggest grandmama pant..... you will not loose your bump immediately so you will still find that you may need a size up. Also they are better fitting than those disposable undies and they can be cheap enough for you to throw away if they get stained and you cant stress about washing them.

Light bath/ house robe, towel, showercap, toiletries. Perhaps even a small bowl to put your toiletries ( boarding school style) you never know the state of the bathroom and dont want to carry your fancy hook on toilet bag and find there is no where to hook it!

Old button down shirt.( old hubbys work shirts work great) you can button down to breast feed. Short enough that you can raise it up so you dont sit on it and stain it.

Pyjama bottoms. With drawstring waist if possible and in a dark colour.... dark coloured joggers also work well. May not be ideal for cs mums. Due to the elastic at waist.

Bed pads. And wraper.

Lay the bed pad on the bed or the chair so you can sit on it. If you bleed out, ot will catch the worst of it.
You can use the wraper over your legs if you are on a chair. Wear something short enough like botton down shirt as above that you can raise up and not sit on.
The reason is if you are stained and you have guests for instance the shirt can cover the pyjama bottoms or wrapper and your house / bathrobe can cover everything till you get to the bathroom.

Bathroom Slippers: very important for when you want to use the bathroom.

Dont forget your going home outfit and make up sef. Hospitals will not put that on your list and You may arrive the hospital at 3 am in wrapper and singlet... but you dont want to be discharged looking like a mad woman. #hotsexymama# # lets-make-labour-look-like-a-walk-in-the-park#

He left her at the hospital by 9pm, only to send his mother inlaw the following morning while he went to his site. He later come to the hospital by noon and left to come back later. This is pure carelessness. I am no happy with him here.

You are obviously just a child. This is Nigeria, he could lose his job for not being at the site that morning, and who would attend to his wife without money. He took her to a hospital and he was there for as much as he could, he's not the issue here.

Op so sorry about your wife, the way some of these general hospitals treat life and death as if it doesn't make any difference is just heart breaking. I pray God consoles you and helps you raise your girls.

Am 35 wks 5 days today. My BP has been high for the past 3 weeks. The last time i checked it w as143/87. The gynae asked me to take diazepam, one tab for 6 nights. I googled it but I don't like what i read.

Please, has anyone used this tab before?
I was told that if it remains high at my next appointment i would be scheduled for a c section at 37 weeks.

@giddyperson and other mamas asking abt number of pads to take to the hospital.
Note that the pad is also used with olive oil for baby's first cleanup. And its also used to clean up poop blood and water from the mum during delivery. My hospital asked for 6. By the time I was done with delivery and baby was cleaned up
I had two packs left which I used for blood flow still had to buy 3more at home.
This was at a govt hospital anyway. Its possible private hospitals ptovide the ones for cleanup.

Another thing in my hospital list is that they wrote pant, bra, then underwear. What is underwear if not pant and bra in this heat. I seriously have no clue what I'm meant to buy as underwear tho

Weave on yes, only that you will have to close it. I fixed weave for my wedding. I braid on it sef when I want a new look. But when it gets really long the weave on won't sit well but there's still time for that

I know how you feel. The 6 looked plenty so I carried only 3. I had to tell hubs to bring the rest from home. What you can do is keep the remaining in the car so you can access as needed. You know those nurses. They don't touch your stuff anything you don't use you carry home

K I'd take everything, was just trying to conserve space cuz those things are big . Never knew cs patients experience lochia too
