I thought it was just me.
For me the worst part of being pregnant is the public attention. Everyone that's ever seen a baby in their lives feel like they can now advise you. Touts and roadside traders and all.

I've heard all these and worse from the most random strangers, the fact that they even call me iya beji annoys me too, are you the one that put the beji there?

And the way most people stare at a pregnant tummy like it's one of the world's 7 wonders.

Cotton bud is for outer ear only. You ain't supposed to clean your inner ear. The yellowish stuff is wax which is supposed to be there. Stop using the cotton bud already before you injure yourself. Put olive oil in a spoon, run a lighter under it to warm it up a little then use the tip of your finger to put a few drops in your ear, after a while, tilt your ear so it can run out. I'd prefer you use water tho since your problem wasn't earwax to start with.

If this doesn't work biko just leave the ear alone or go to general hospital. If you keep trying to get the water out by yourself, you would either end up injuring yourself or getting an ear infection. Trust me those are not the kinds of pains you want to have during pregnancy cuz ear ache needs strong pain killers which they won't give you if you're pregnant.

Thanks jusufifunmi and giddyperson. I could feel water get into my ear while I took my bath. I am 18weeks pregnant and I'm tempted to use ear drops...cerumol ear drops to be precise. What do you all suggest? I'm very uncomfortable

Hellllll to the no. Cerumol is for dissolving ear wax nah and if you don't get the dissolved ear wax out ASAP, it hardens back x2 and causes issues. Warm olive oil was what was prescribed for me last year at Lasuth but that's still for ear wax. I'd say u should use a few drops of warm water then lie down and let them all flow out.

Hello everyone, I've had water in my ear for a couple of days now. I've tried tilting my head and had stayed in such position for a long time yet there has been no improvement. Pls, how else can I get the water out?

Did you actually see water get in there? If you did, just keep lying on the side of the ear. Otherwise I suggest you leave it alone esp if you are pregnant cuz next thing now you might find yourself battling ear ache and you'd miss the days when the problem was just water.

So glad it's over. Now I know why these hairdressers dab your scalp with hot water after braiding. It helps to relax the braids, I thought it was just wickedness . I'd be hot watering my own scalp today , last night was no joke, plus heat

Haven't really dreamt anything since this pregnancy, instead it's one of my friends that went to go and have one bad dream on my behalf. It's still paining me that she called me to narrate her dream instead of praying about it by herself.

Yepee, today was the EDD on my most recent scan but I've managed to go through the day without borning . Atleast I made delivery hair but hospital bag is still not packed, I'd do that one tomorrow. Had some kick arise contractions today and the baby is just moving like crazy. My new hair is so painful, baby's movement is so uncomfortable. This night sucks.

Team October,how has it been going,hope we are all coping. As for me,just when i thought the MS is now relieving me a bit unknown to me that i was wrong, yesterday i threw up all the food i ate,i later took milo and milk when my stomach was bitting me continuously,i later threw up the milo too but was relieved. Though i became weak because i couldn't eat anything again until this morning i managed to take 7up and crackers only for me to be feeling waist and back pain o,anyway i've been casting and binding since asking God to take control.I later saw that the 7UP contains Lemon and lime, mamas that do take 7UP na so e dey do una too abi na only me waka come?

Might be the 7up since different people react differently to different things. I was obsessed with lime in first trimester cuz it helped keep nausea away but when I read the posts against it on this thread, I started managing with just drinks that contain lime. It didn't affect me

Unic1 has already opened the door by giving birth to her prince on the 29th of March, huge congrats to her. And Ijeoma2728 who just had her baby, today April2nd. I love the sharp sharp BS/BA you people are dropping, let's say congrats to them.

Mamas that have ported from March, we welcome you with open arms Don't feel bad, your baby is only taking his time cuz he's royalty and wants to arrive in grand style

By now our hospital bags should all be packed... Except mine. I'd pack it this week

Please answer your names so we know you are good. And come and update us, who has seen mucus plug, whose water has broken , who is having REGULAR contractions , who is in labour, who has secretly had their baby without informing us?

I pray that God's angels would continue to keep watch over us so that we do not dash out feet against a stone, just like he's brought us the far, the story can't change now. We would all deliver our babies safely as the month progresses and God would also provide a source through which we would care for them, in Jesus name.

Now I have experienced something stronger than MS. Toothache . Seems its pregnancy induced. The last toothache I suffered was 2012.
Couldn't sleep all night. Am in pain. Serious migraine. Someone should help me. This one pass labour pain oooo. The pain is too much to bear

Sorry about your predicament, I can imagine being in that kinda pain plus this big belle. Google oil pulling and see if that would help. Paracetamol helps too and try brushing morning and night and use mouth wash after meals.
