Saffi: If you can’t afford it, don’t kill your self. If you can, great. Nothing wrong with spending on your babe, if you have interest in her, just don’t make yourself unhappy or slave-like to please her. But if you’re looking for a long term commitment, you can’t run away from spending and that’s just the truth. Don’t let these niggaz deceive you A guy spending on his babe is very different from a babe feeling entitled to a monthly stipend from the guy's salary Hanty. When she no be the guy mum or wife? Career › Re: Is It Truly Hell Working In A Bank? by Ginalex(f): 4:17pm On Dec 25, 2018 |
TGM2015: Every bank's job has one level of stress of the other, the most important thing is how you manage your time and work smart. Getting 2-3 three hours a day should not the that very difficult if you can manage your time very well. Taking myself as an example, I worked in a department where I have to take up the job of over 5 staff due to downsizing. The job was overwhelming and I could not balance myself in the first 2 years until I review my vision and decided to create time for myself and professional development towards my vision. So today, I have completed many professional courses, further my formal education and still have more time for my family.
All you need to do is to be smart and efficient on your job, such that you have some time within the office time to check out your internet hustle. Get a good phone (high specifications above needed requirements for your hassles) to help in your internet things when in traffic. Seriously, since I came to Lagos, I never drive but use public buses so that I can have more time to further my line of career interest when in traffic. You will be surprised that you may have your 3 hours in the traffic. Remember never to sit close to the car window if you are to chose this option. Try as much as possible to close early, at least, for Union Bank no Supervisor will harass/force you to stay beyond 5pm if your have completed your work for the day but in case you cannot, use the time to your advantage. Just study your line supervisor and work you way around it.
It is good to note that you are a chartered accountant and around 21 years of age. You may not be deployed to finance, audit or related department if eventually you are successful. So I will advise you not to lose focus on your drive or let the "overwhelming workloads" distract you from developing yourself to position yourself for your dream career. So in summary, having a work-life balance depends on you and not the bank as far as Union bank is concerned.
May I request for a favour? For now, it seems I am having some hours to spare for this side hustle of yours. Can I have more information on it? Thank you. sharp guy |

karferguso: Guys, I appreciate all of your responses. If I’m offered the bank job, I’ll take it. I’ll just have to push my self and optimize my time very well. For those asking for the side hustle. I would have loved to put you guys through. But sadly, the method is dying. It has reached its peak and is now falling. It peaked around May of this year when I was making about $2000+ monthly. Now, I barely make 400. If you guys start now, you’ll be wasting your money I’m looking at testing new waters for now. But that’s uncertain and you’ll need to invest at least 200-500$ which is very much for beginners hmm.. Lemme know when something new and legit comes up abeg... Wish you the best in all you endeavours |

Op.... But KPMG dey advertise upanda na... I'm sure it's because they're understaffed kinda... Exit opportunity there is kinda high (as you get to go on fieldwork and all)... Except you've already done their once in a lifetime entry-level test.... But still, age is still very much on your side... Many people wish to have that kinda advantage... Nigeria is a country where you're almost completely finished if you graduate "late"... Especially if you have no connection.... Just keep applying to different opportunities you find... Don't limit yourself.. Now, about the side hustle |

StarUp: Bank job is actually very stressful (though depends on the department) but since you said you are just 21, then I will advise you to still pick up the bank job in case you are called... You will need it to build a network of career relationships that will help you tomorrow... However, make sure you give yourself a target of say "5 years" working in the bank and plan your exit properly otherwise you will end up "wasting" your youthful age enriching others and becoming useless to yourself later in life... Remember that your youthful stage is your useful stage.
Now back to the aide hustle that pays you a little above 100k monthly, since I have given you my own secret, kindly share with me that business secret via: qualitysmile7@gmail.com or call me on 07056649003...Thanks for your timely reply. lol... Sense will not kill this homosapien... |

pocohantas: Why did she catch him? I am sure she started running her mouth when she saw him. A wise woman would have gone home, wait for him to come back, then talk to him calmly about it.
If he doesn't change, Shiloh is around the corner. There is a reason Nigerian women dominate churches. Their men and in-laws be driving them crazy. Nonsense.... "Talk to him calmly" my foot...
