I think you're same applicant that made reference to have received a BVL update few days ago on this thread. What's the current status of your application? From the above write up, it appears like you submitted your application via paper route and didn't link your application online to have a clear view of your application progress. Nevertheless, the bolded simply implies that your application has been finalized and a decision reached. As a consequence, your passport is ready for pick up at the VAC.

It shall end in praises.

Amen.
Yes to your questions, applied 24 of sept, BVL 18th of Oct.
No update yet.
It's paper route and i have not received any mail yet.

Does it take long to drop for those who applied via paper route?

Hello everyone, i pray all our hustle will end in praise. Thanks to all who have been supporting with one information or the other, God blessyou all.
I submitted my paper applicationon 11th October2019, linked to online after about 3 weeks with the guidance of Frank... Just today, i receiveda correspondence regarding the validity of my biometrics. Please how many more weeks or days would i expect the final verdit?. Am just being curious anyway. Thanks

Did you do an upfront medical? if no then it's possibly a denial from most reports gathered here, but if yes then there is still hope.

Your chances of securing visa are good since you did upfront medicals and it has been updated as passed and you received the BVL notification since three (3) weeks ago. Most times refusals doesn't stay longer than 48hrs to two weeks after BVL has been initiated. Be hopeful there is a positive news at the end of the tunnel.

These words just got me smiling.
Thanks.

Sorry about the outcome of your application. You should receive the final decision via your MyCIC Account tomorrow being Tuesday after the website maintenance.

I did an upfront medical and I got this correspondence on the 18th of October, paper route, I have not linked online.

It means the application will most likely be rejected.

Mr Frankrobbn1 thanks for all that you for this thread.

I was refused based on PURPOSE OF VISIT and FAMILY TIES IN CANADA OR HOME COUNTRY

I went through your post and I can say as regards purpose of visit and family ties, I explained everything you mentioned in details in my SOP/LOE. This are the points I discussed in my SOP/LOE

1)Introduction
2)Academic background (Computer Science)
3)My interest in the course of study( Masters of Global management) which in summary is I have been running an Event management business for over 5 years and I required an Academic qualification in a management course, I also stated that I had worked in an event company in the past and had some trainings in Event management and Project management, I also explained how the event business was born out of passion as it was a side hustle while I was in Uni.
4) I wrote about why I wanted to study in Canada
5)Why I chose the school( Royal Roads University )
6) I wrote about my conditional offer from Royal Roads university, I was asked to do two courses cause of my academic background ( Financial Accounting and Managerial Account, I needed to have at least 50marks each for both courses ) I had to defer my admission in order to clear the conditions which I did( these courses were not free)
7)I also wrote about How the course will be of great benefits to me and my business( I discussed the problems I currently encounter in my business and how I believed the course will help in tackling the issues)
cool I wrote about my Goals and Aspirations
9) I wrote about my study gap 11 years( in between I got married and started a family )
10)Funding ( which wasn’t an issue, I had paid full one year tuition fee 17,850CAD and I had 10k USD in my domiciliary account for living expenses) my husband was my sponsor

Note, since I graduated, I Haven’t worked in my field of study.
I submitted my company documents( I registered my company in 2010)

As regards Family Ties
I have been married for almost 6years( submitted my marriage certificate)
I have 2 kids( submitted their birth certificates)
Submitted documents for 5 landed properties( 2 jointly owned by my husband and I)
I got a letter from my children’s school indicating they were registered there and their tuition had been paid for 2019/2000 academic year ( I included this because they are US citizens and to proof they won’t be going with me)
My Mum wrote a letter indicating that she would support my husband in taking care of the children and assist with their school work while I’m away ( she retired as a Director of education in Lagos state)
My husband wrote a letter of sponsorship

My husband submitted his personal 11. 5M and domiciliary account 20k USD
I submitted my company account with 2.5 M and personal account 450k and my USD a account 10k USD even though my husband was the sole sponsor.

Please how can I further tackle the reason for my study permit refusal. My husband feels I should ask for a refund from the school and try UK but I convinced him to give Canada another try which will definitely be the last.

So sorry to hear about your delay.
You addressed all my fears and was still rejected.
My hope is on God only.
