Prince, stop generalising abeg. If it pains you so much, marry a white nah. When she sends you out of the house because you came back 10 minutes late, don't come here complaining. Remember that people are different.

Becomrich, your post doesn't make sense. The question is if it's compulsory for a woman to wash her husband's clothes. It's not in any way related to cooking food. I don't understand why you guys are exaggerating everything. That woman whose picture you put all over the thread is a cook by profession so why are you using her as an example? Is she perfect? Do you even know her personally? You are just acting(I really want to believe it's all an act) SHALLOW. Pls,try to dig deep. Even if you must use a celebrity, use a 9ja one. @woye-what's your problem? Please,if you don't have anything meaningful to say, then shutup.

Ochuko, pls understand what am trying to say. You asked when did washing clothes becomes "all house chores".I replied that men expect so much from women. You also added that you have never seen any woman get old because of chores. What I was saying was that from the response I was getting from most men on this forum, it was clear that they expected their wives to be wonderwomen. Even one said that if his wife is tired,he would not say anything but expects her do the chores she couldn't attend to the next day. It's almost as if he doesn't care. Maybe the only thing he would do is go to work which his wife would also do. That alone puts pressure on the woman.

@ochuko-did I say that doing the housechores would make a woman age?A man who expects the wife to do everything puts pressure on his wife. Am sure I don't need to tell you that women worry too much and it's the face that it gets to easily. Please read carefully before replying. I have taken some time to read everybody's post and that was why I said "all the house chores". Didn't you notice that most males were of the opinion that the women should do everything while they go to work and also expect the woman to do the same? Besides, you're just speaking for yourself. Go back to the earlier pages and you would see what am saying.       @bawss1- you're definitely right.

I don't understand why this thread is turning into an argument. I simply asked if it was compulsory for a woman to wash her husband's clothes. @Harakiri-what's your problem? How would you say that I was looking for a justification for not washing my husband's clothes?Did I say that I was totally against the idea. In one of my previous post, I said that when a woman is treated right by her husband, she would do so much for him without him asking. You better watch the way you speak. What is wrong with some males sef?(excludn ravenzord, aikuda nd few others) Why do you think the world was made specially for you?Puh, lease. You expect your wife to be a career woman and do all the house chores. Na wah oh!! Later when she starts aging faster than usual, you start asking her what is happening. Some of you would use that as an excuse to cheat on her saying "oh,she no longer appeals to me" or "she looks too old for my liking". , mttcheew, Remember that the woman was made out of the rib of the man. Not from the head to be in dominion over him, not from the feet to be trampled upon but from the side to be equal(though the man is still the head), under the arm to be protected and next to the heart to be loved.

@ravenzord-it's guys like you we need.Yes, the partners need to understand themselves instead of trying to think of what is naturally expected of them. This way, they won't be comparing their relationship with others.

Pls oh, if I offended anyone with my previous post then,am sorry. But I don't think it's compulsory to wash it.I did some more research and came up with the fact that if a woman is treated right by her husband, she would do so many things for her husband without even being told. @talknafree-You need the pills more than I do.Your brain has started working overtime, that's why it's touching.

I am just tryin 2 understand somtn. If it's men and the issue of carrying their woman's handbag, they would make flimsy excuses like "if the bag was heavy, she should have left it at home", or "as she bought it,she should also carry it". Now,I say," HE DIRTIED THE CLOTHE HIMSELF" or "IT'S HIS CLOTHE".

@safeact-I thought you would say he shouldn't do anything cos the woman is not a virgin. Your thread always has something to do with the word "virgin". Very soon you would make a thread titled "VIRG,VIRGIN,VIRGINITY" OR "VIRGINS AND A VIRGIN". @poster,na wa for you oh. Ahead, make we hia word.

Safeact, am thankful that it's not every man that think's like you. If you like,be expecting everything from her.Maybe later, you tell her to always prostrate whenever she sees you. I said you are confused because of the previous posts and threads you have been creating.
RomanceRe: Is It Compulsory To Wash Your Husband's Clothes? by ginky(op): 8:15am On Jan 01, 2010
@dammit-it's not by washing a man's clothes that a woman is considered all that. It's not like I said I would never do it. If his ego is too much,I would let his ego do the washing.
RomanceRe: Is It Compulsory To Wash Your Husband's Clothes? by ginky(op): 1:45am On Jan 01, 2010
@safeact - what's your angle? Is it that your wife would be a housewife so she won't have to work also? It's as if you're still confused.

@safeact,you're talking like a #*%&*. Who used to ask her man if she should wash his dirty clothes and all that rubbish that came out of that your tube I mean your mouth? Maybe your confusing me for your gf. Just relax ok,I don't want your head to continue touching as the new year almost begins.

@mannylex-you say it like its a must do affair. I have come across guys on NL that have big ego's and most of them feel a woman should do everything for them but just can't carryout a request by their ladies without having to whin about it to everyone on nairaland. To be honest,I don't think it's a must. I am not saying a lady shouldn't do it attimes oh. Most men are very disrespectful, the moment you start, they treat you like a slave. Believe me, I have seen it happen, though not to me.
RomanceIs It Compulsory To Wash Your Husband's Clothes? by ginky(op): 9:40pm On Dec 31, 2009
I know the males would say am being disrespectful but am just asking a sincere question. I have come across threads where people like, among others find it insulting for a man to carry a woman's bag or to help with doing the dishes. So, like I said earlier on,my question is honest. I don't mean to offend anyone or group of people. This question is mostly for the ladies. Please, be honest, IS IT A MUST TO WASH YOUR HUSBAND'S OR YOUR BOYFRIENDS CLOTHES?

10x. I wouldn't advise you to do what cockzy said. We all know that people react differently. If it's me,I would be offended and even the little affection I have for the guy would fade almost immediately. Anyway, don't forget to give us updates.
RomanceRe: She Told Me To Help Her Carry Her Handbag! by ginky: 7:21pm On Dec 31, 2009
@poster-na wah for you oh. So, you can't just carry her bag. What is in the bag sef?abi na jazz? *shakes her head at the ignorance of the poster* . The one that pains me the most is that you threatened to slap her. I don't believe that you were just joking. What kind of joke is that? Maybe you even threatened to beat the living day light out of her if she did not do all those rubbish stuff she did for you. YOUR GF MUST REALLY HAVE ZERO SELF ESTEEM TO HAVE PUT UP WITH YOU AND YOUR NONSENSE.
RomanceRe: Is She Still Interested Coz I Really Like Her: by ginky: 6:10pm On Dec 31, 2009
Common nah! KAI! ! So,because she has your number, you expect her to make contact. Am sure you're familiar with the way some girls behave. Just like you said, they do shakara. Call her (don't text yet). When you're speaking with her on the phone,be confident and don't start telling her you like her though you can imply it. You can just ask her how her day was and don't be in a hurry to hang up. Even if she says it was ok and doesn't want to go into details, you can say a little about how your's went(just a little oh). When, you do that, she would feel at ease with you and before you know it, she would start making contact with you though she may start with a text. You may need to call her up to 3 times(like 2 day's interval) before she starts. GOODLUCK.
RomanceRe: Want My Girl To Quit Facebook by ginky: 5:45pm On Dec 31, 2009
Hmmn, na wa oh. I've never understood why someone would put his/her phone number online(esp facebook) @Poster, I agree with you jare. Aha,I repeat, "na wa oh" . As for me,I made sure I didn't put it. Infact, I don't even give it out when guys (mostly the ones I dont know but are "friends" on fb) asks me to. I would advise you to talk calmly to her and make her understand that she's letting just too much information out. I really understand you and I only hope she would not only listen but obey. Goodluck.talk to her calmly oh.

RomanceRe: Women, Why Do You Allow Men Get Away With So Much? by ginky: 8:52pm On Dec 23, 2009
@post That's because, most women are insecure. I've 4gotn d person dat said that it was natural 4 every man 2 cheat. I don't mean to be insultive bt dat person is mentally deranged. Who said so? Let us b aware of d fact dat every action we take has ida a +ve or -ve effect. Luk @ david in d bible, wasn't God angry with him up 2 d pt dat God refusd him from buildin d temple he pland on buildin? If u males lyk, continue dsivin urselves. We all know dat its nt everytin dat was recorded in d bible. Its posibul dat d oda "sinners" were punished severely. If u lyk, continue tinkin dat all will b well:even if ur wives/gf 4givs u, ur sins wud surely find u out.
