A Nigerian lady identified as Gift Okoro has accussed her neighbourhood security men of brutally assaulting her because she was not able to pay the N1000 security levy they demanded from her.

According to gift, the security men beat her to the point that she was unable to walk.

A concerned friend, Christian Onwugbolu, took to Facebook to call out the Security men who he identified as members of Amorji Nike NEIGHBORHOOD watch. Read the report below.

This incident happen at Amorji Nike Enugu East Local Government Area of Enugu State. The Lady in the picture live at Amorji Nike in Enugu East LGA of Enugu State, she was beating up by Amorji Nike NEIGHBORHOOD watch because she could not pay up N1000 SECURITY levy.
When the NEIGHBORHOOD watch came to their apartment, the Lady told them to hold on for her to bring the money. Meanwhile she already paid three months earlier, but when the lady by name Ms Gift Okoro entered her room to bring the money, the lawless NEIGHBORHOOD security men rushed into her room to carry her standing fan, to her surprise, when she asked them why are they doing that, they started beating her, they beat her to stupor that she cold not walk with her legs.
These men even threaten her that she will not do anything. The Lady phone number is 08146063139 or 08145055354.
This is TOTAL ABUSE of power. The NEIGHBORHOOD Security men should be apprehended. They have no right to assult a woman.

Orphaned Corps member who sponsored himself through university shot dead by armed robbers

Bashir Bello shared the sad story of a Corps member who was shot dead by armed robbers along Abuja-Kaduna highway four days ago.

Usman Yunusa from Makarfi town, Kaduna state was orphaned at a tender age. By dint of hard work and determination, he sponsored himself through Bayero University Kano and graduated with a B.Sc. in Political Science.

He was posted to Cross River State for the compulsory one year national youth Service programme. Yunusa was on his way to his hometown when they were ambushed by armed robbers along Abuja-Kaduna highway. While other passengers managed to escape, he was hit by bullet fired by the robbers. THE TRAGIC STORY OF USMAN YUNUSA
Makarfi is a sprawling town in Kaduna state and has produced prominent indigenes amongst whom was the former two-term Kaduna State governor Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi. The town work up to with the tragic story of the death of a young man most loved by many for his good character and conduct. It was indeed a day of mourning for the community as they come to term with the reality of his sudden demise.

Usman Yunusa was a native of Makarfi town. Orphaned at a tender age, he struggled throughout his life to make ends meet. He was hardworking and industrious. He saw through his education by dint of hard work sponsoring himself up to the university, where he graduated from Bayero University Kano with a B.Sc. in Political Science. His joy at graduation knew no bound as he clad himself in his ceremonial gown to receive his well-earned degree.

He was posted to Cross-River for his Youth Service earlier this yer, but unknown to him, not only joy, but his life would come to a tragic end. Three days ago, on their way to Makarfi from Cross-River, they were attacked by daredevil ar,ed robbers along the Notorious Rijana Junction by Abuja-Kaduna highway, where he was hit by a bullet fired by the robbers.

He was fast asleep at the time the bullet hit him and he passed away from his sleep. The incident, which occurred at around 3:am was as anyone could have imagined. One of the survivors of the atack narrated that they ran into the armed robbers who laid an ambush and suddenly came under fire without any provocation. At the time, the victim was fast asleep. They only noticed thst he was hit after they managed to escape from the robbers. He did not even move from his sleeping position when he was hit.

The sad really of this tale is that the tragic story of this struggling young man did not even made a headline in our tabloids.
He has since been laid to rest. May his soul rest in peace Amen.

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has said the former Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo, will be sanctioned, if found guilty of the rape allegations against him.

The fellowship said it was saddened and disturbed by the allegations of criminal conduct and serial impropriety against the pastor.

It said the alleged misconduct was antithetical to the tenets of Christianity and a violent breach of the trust that ought to exist between members of the congregation and a minister of the Gospel.

PFN President Dr. Felix Omobude issued a statement yesterday in Benin, the Edo State capital, in reaction to the allegations of rape against Fatoyinbo.

He said the body was shocked at the allegations, adding that they are mostly criminal.

Omobude said: “We strongly condemn this ignoble and bastardy conduct, as alleged against Pastor Fatoyinbo. Our prayers, thoughts and support are with all those who have fallen victim, as have been reported.

“PFN strongly believes in the pursuit of truth and will ensure that truth is unveiled in this whole matter and appropriate sanctions served.

“The PFN hereby warns Pentecostal pastors, who feel they can live carelessly and take undue advantage of their congregants, that PFN will not shield anyone who crosses the line.

“The PFN calls on all concerned while expressing their views over this sad issue to be peaceful and have some respect for the Kingdom.”

Son of the ruler of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates has died in London.

Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, 39, was the owner of a British fashion label, named Qasimi, which has been in business since 2008.

Three days of mourning have been declared in the emirate and flags have been ordered to fly at half mast. Messages of condolences to his dad Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi have flooded in on social media from across the country.

In a statement the ruler's court also expressed condolences and offered prayers to Al Qasimi family.

Hotel’s security man flogs guests for talking in Ogun State.

What security men did to us last night for talking outside the hotel. We went to celebrate my younger sister's birthday yesterday at fourgates hotel, we were about to see one of our friends off and stood just at the bus stop of fourgates cause we have an unsettled matter to settle, I and friends were talking outside and a security man came and told us we were shouting and disturbing the business, we told him we're not shouting that we're just talking and he said he's going to whip us with koboko and we told him why will you whip us cause we're your customers and if we don't patronise you they won't pay you your salary so why will you whip us for talking outside the hotel. Then another security man came from nowhere sprayed t-gas into my friend's eyeballs and whipped her with koboko, we trying to defend ourselves he sprayed the t-gas into my eyeballs, whipped me koboko right on my cheek and all over my body whipped my friends too without doing anything and all he could say was we were rude to a uniformed man

Ese Walter, the lady who in 2013 revealed that she allegedly had sexual relations with clergyman and founder of COZA, Biodun Fatoyinbo, says she is very proud of her crazy self.

Recall that when Ese released her tell all statement of how the clergyman allegedly manipulated her sexually, many bashed her for accusing a ''man of God'', and termed her crazy.

With the explosive interview released yesterday, June 28, in which singer Timi Dakolo's wife accused Fatoyinbo of raping her multiple times, many Nigerians stated that Ese has now been ''vindicated''.

It’s difficult to see your Pastor accused of a crime so grave. However it’s important we realise that evil thrives when good people keep quiet. Rape is a serious crime and must not be covered up. I believe her because I had a personal encounter with Pastor Biodun several years ago. He had become a family friend and was also my sisters Pastor as she attended COZA. Bottom line is on a certain day he was in Lagos, he asked me to spend the night in his hotel room with him. Suspected gunmen, who abducted a bus driver, Felix Akinde, on Akure/Ikere road, have demanded N5 million ransom.

Akinde was abducted on Tuesday at a bad portion of a road close to the NYSC farm in Iju/Ita Ogbulu in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo state.

The driver, who was driving alone in his Toyota Privia space, from Ikere to Akure, the Ondo state capital, was seized by suspected gunmen around 5am.

The gunmen abandoned his vehicle by the roadside.

It was learnt that the abductors on Thursday established contact with the family and leaders of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) for the ransom.

Sources said men of the Anti-Kidnapping Squad of the 32 Artillery Brigade of the Nigeria Army in collaboration with other security agencies have launched a manhunt for the abductors in Iju forest.

A relative of Akinde said the kidnappers contacted the families through their telephone lines.

He said: “The kidnappers contacted us and demanded N5 million before they will release him. They said that he (driver) is in the bush with them and would only free him when we are ready to cooperate on the ransom.

“As I speak with you, they have already used two different telephone lines to contact us, demanding to know how much we have been able to raise.

“The amount is too much for us, and I don’t know where they want us to see such huge fund but we are still begging them.”

An executive member of NURTW in Ondo state said some funds were being raised with the families.

“We are pleading them to spare the life our colleague and we have promised to raise some funds with the family in order to set him free,” he said.

Ondo State Police Command Spokesman Femi Joseph said the officers of the command have already swung into action and would soon arrest the perpetrators.
