TheNed: Read from pages 79 for an explanation. She's not immune to fire. We don't know that she isn't. The show has shown she is. She talks to dragons, why can't she be immune to fire? |

TheNed: Stannis who was down to eating rats and boots during the siege of Storm's End, and later burns his only child and heir because the bastard of the Dreadfort burnt his supplies ? Naa that's not Stannis, and dont try justify it. He is wrong for doing it,everyone knows that. but you seem to suggest it is "out of character". It is not. He killed his bro and the witch's magic works. He will do anything to be king. You are beginning to sound like Gbola5. Are you him? |

TheNed: If he take's Winterfell its cause he took Winterfell, not because he sacrificed Shireen. The battle in the north isn't the only one coming for him, he still has the throne to fight. It depends on how he takes Winterfell. After what you have seen the red woman do, are you still doubting her powers? She used a shadow to kill Renly!! A shadow... |

F*ck you stannis. |
TV/Movies › Re: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by gj22(m): 7:34pm On Jun 08, 2015 |
TheNed: 'Tis what im saying, the real Stannis would never do such, especially because some 20 men destroyed his supplies. Which isn't even possible as Stannis is one of the best battle commanders in Westeros, in league with Ned Robb and Randyll Tarly. Imagine him asking what is "Dance of Dragons" something that was taught to every highborn and a military commander at that, and in which his house participated. I wonder how Ramsay was able to pull it off. So then he burns his daughter expecting supplies to fall out of the sky ?And Arya was acting all dumb this episode. You never know what people will do when push comes to shove. Dude, you are being irrational |

UjSizzle: Did you notice how many times he looked at Sam's food? And remember when the 2nd commander told Sam he was losing his friends? What exactly stop then from using young Olly to get rid of Samwell then? Besides you just don't kill a Lord Commander (except it's mutiny). I was saying this too. I hope I am wrong, Sam cannot die after getting laid. |

Akanniade: Allister will likely do something stupid, he has an axe to grind after losing to Jon Snow. I really liked the guy tho after he led the battle at the wall, especially after he gave the speech. I didn't like him at first because he was always beefing jon but after that battle, I started liking him. I have looked everywhere for the audio of the speech he gave, it will make for a nice ringtone |
TV/Movies › Re: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by gj22(m): 3:57pm On Jun 05, 2015 |
luxanne: It used to be jon snow standing between allister and that seat but who is sitting there right now? Jon snow.
I don't think sam is a threat to allister, besides sam was also in disgreement bringing in the wildings as well as the brothers of the night watch that accompanied jon.
The only threat I see to allister and has always been is jon. Alliser could plan a coup to take over jon's regime. This would be easier to do since jon is not around. But sam is loyal to jon and the thing about coups is that you need to take out all the loyals to prevent any uprising. If Alliser really does plan the coup, Sam would need to be taken out of the picture and olly will be the way to go because he disagrees with Sam and jon about bringing in the wildlings. And sam will be unsuspecting. What he said to sam at maester Aemon's funeral was a threat. |

Flexysweet: Winter came in with White Walker infestation and bloodbath to put things in a surprising and thrilling action for us to enjoy.
This episode's visual effects and make up is mind-blowing and actually it felt like a glimpse of 'Lord of the Rings' with 'The Walking Dead' zombies on steroids
Evidently one of the most expensive Tv series episode. As in. A lot of people do not know this. It's expensive and they used at least 2 production crews for this season. One In sevilla(spain) for the Dorne scenes and another for the rest. That's why the first 5 episodes leaked. It's also the reason for the 1 year break that follows after each season. |

Aida13: Enjoying the analysis on here.. Some are very much on point. I like the fact that the TV adaptation varies majorly from the books. But the books will always remain source material, Thank goodness.
Amazing how each episode each has a different director. Not sure how that works out, but I like the results. Keeps things fresh. Can't imagine how much time, money and effort goes into shooting each season and we aren't even sure how long this show will run for. I hear it's 7 seasons. As much as I don't want the show to end, 7 seasons is fair. I don't want another vampire diaries that refuses to end and just keeps getting boring. |

alaricsaltzman: cant even remember the so-called benjen stark sef.
about tyrion and jon being targs...remains to be seen
olly will come around. but the look on the face is like that of someone who wants to do something bad. Killing sam will be outrageous cos he wasn't the one who said he wanted to save the wildlings and when olly finally hears about the WW and wights, he will forget he had family sef. But sam is the only person standing between Alliser Thorne and the Lord commander seat. If sam is taken out, all jon snow loyals will jump ship especially with most of the nights watch disagreeing with jon bringing the wildings. |

Gbola5: This isn't about comparing the two. But even without comparing the two, the show still has flaws. Yet some just overlook them. You keep saying this... Okay, if you can name one flaw and give your reasons, I will tell you why you are wrong. |
TV/Movies › Re: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by gj22(m): 6:32pm On Jun 04, 2015 |
Gbola5: No, cuz the tv show has become a fanfiction, the many plotlines have been condensed way too much, the character developments, the actions of the characters aren't personality related anymore, its become agenda related. Some plots are inconsistent, aren't well thought about. Dude, have you written a book before? Have you produced a movie before? Because you are the only one seeing all these "out of character" or "condensed plotlines". only you |

luxanne: And some fans reckoned:
► the hooded guy is Benjen Stark, Jon's 'uncle' who was missing since s01. How they came to this conclusion, they didn't say.
► That both tyrion and jon are targs - I also read on here about tyrion being a targ citing amongst others the hair and eye color theory as reasons, but how about jon snow? He's got black hairs, dark eyes to contradict descending from the targ kinsfolk, so what then is his own targ related theory? Just being curious here.
And to those paranoiac about Olly, that's just what it is, paranoia. The lil boy is angry @jon's decision to bring the wildings close to the wall after watching them kill his family and also frightened having the wildings closeby knowing what they are fully capable of, what reason(s) does he then have to murder sam?
If he wanted murdering anyone, it would have been jon snow and it would have happened when he served him - the moment after he (jon) made the pronouncement of bringing in the wildings. theory about olly------------- I think he poisoned sam with that food so that Allister Thorne can take over castle black. Motivation for him to do so will be maybe Allister promised to kill the wildings when they arrive. Obviously, Sam will not allow that to happen so they have to take him out and run their matter. It might just be a sleeping potion . |

Gbola5: Im sure your one o' those who, when writing an exam and answering a question that you've never been refered, simply skip it and get annoyed, cuz you dont wanna think outside the box. And you shouldn't refer to someone else as "dis 1". Its a bloody discussion. And its no spoiler. Actually, it is a spoiler. If It happened in the books but it hasn't happened in the show, it means there is high probability that it would be included in the show later on since the books are the source material. |

now the iron throne is gonna be the least of anyone's problems Nah. King Stannis said there are a lot of dragon glass in dragonstone. And there are at least 4 valyrian steel swords in the show. |

gmyguy: do the dead become white walkers or wights?... i guess white walkers?...so where do wights come from? No, the dead become wights. They are brought back to life by white walkers. White walkers are just another race of beings like the first men, children, humans etc. |
TV/Movies › Re: Game Of Thrones Discussion (Beware Of Spoilers) by gj22(m): 3:53pm On Jun 03, 2015 |
gmyguy: i also noticed Jon's sword kinda has a different effect on some of those undead...The wight? compared to the Walkers...The wights don't blow up, and am not sure they really die. Its only the walkers that the sword really seemed to have a killing effect on The white walkers are not undead. They just look that way by our standards. They are intelligent beings that posses magical powers. Valyrian steel and dragon glass is their only known weakness. Only fire can kill the wights, they are the ones that are undead. Even Jon's sword or dragon glass can't kill them. |
