ApexTitan: Na wa o. All these theories for what? Just write your own fan fiction version of Game of Thrones and let the TV/books be. Ain't nobody got time for that. Abi o. Tell'em |

Preboy: mehn the plots in this thread just makes the series more interesting
BTW, what kinda shi.t happened? how come valyrian steel is now an alternative to dragon's glass It has always been. A lot of people have had their suspicion, it was just confirmed this episode. |

Gbola5: It's become fact. It's so plausible, GrrM acknowledges it. There are hints in the show too. Fact is something that can be proven beyond reasonable doubt. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. GrrM didn't write the show and also, am sure he didn't say "you guys are right". He acknowledged it as a good theory not that it is correct. There are hints in the show for everything. There are also hints that he is Nedd Stark's bastard. |

Akanniade:
Ok nice replacement for dragon glass in a dire moment. The look on the W.W when his spear didn't destroy the sword was epic though. But it was same look when Sam struck the W.W at Craster's keep. But the Dragon glass is in more abundance than valyrian steel. Yeah I think so. But we don't know how much dragon glass there is. Also, Valyrian steel takes skill to forge and there are only few forgers. |

Akanniade: Read posts thoroughly before you conclude. Am a GOT tv fan from start of this thread. Ep 8 was great. My personal opinion was Ep 7 is far more dramatic and if you like, cathartic. If you don't like that, convince me what makes it a better episode. What about the Valyrian steel reveal? |

luxanne: Oh, thanks for the clarification. They all looked same to me tho, lool. The way they act is how you can differentiate. Wights are rough and dirty and behave like zombies White walkers behave more like humans...intelligent and clean. |

ITbomb: You mean after 8 episodes and 2 more to go, this show with cut and joined half baked episodes should even be nominated?
Unlike other seasons where the story line was directed and focused , this season look confused to the producer, jumping from half written plot to another. I had to wait for 3 weeks before watching 3 episodes straight cos compared to previous seasons, this is the most disjointed of them all.
Episode 8 was a masterpiece though
I pray it ends well. 2 to go You know nothing |

luxanne: Damn this episode is the shiit!
The scenes, the convos - I need every damn convo of every scene, epic they all are.
Just finished watching the ep for a second time, can't be tired, loool
'Bastards can rise high in the world' ramsey's response to sansa about being a bastard in ep7.
And this ep was abot ' bastards rising' - jon snow, ramsey, and even tyrion as we are yet to ascertain if truly he's a lannister? Great bastard's scenes, lol tommen, we await ur rising as well, lool
That lady tho, the one dealing with cercei (dunno what they call her)...No mercy she's showing cercei (from the way she dragged her to her cell, hit her at every chance she gets n then deprive her of thirst) one would wonder if she's got a personal vendetta with cercei. Now how does it feel having a taste of your own medicine cercei? Lool
And as for ramsey, bragging on about how he's gonna fight stannis armies with just 20 men, I laugh, ok na, we watch!
And the way the white walkers fell from the top of the mountain in front of jon snow, like jon I also tot they were dead until they all raised their heads up ready for the kill, lool
And to the final scene, I thot the giant was gonna drag the boat as he walked passed by 'like dammit, u rowing too slowly' lol and yeah I also tot the white walker king was gonna raise the tides on jon snow wen he raised both hands only for me to be told otherwise.
This ep has got the best of every scene and convo ever, can't wait for the 2 last eps. Those were wights that fell from the cliff not white walkers. Spot on analysis tho. I felt the same way. |

jmaine: Is this one of the renowned characters who died or just one of them white walkers . . . . . . . ? I am on mobile and can't see the image clearly but judging by the weapon he is holding (ice spear), I say he is a white walker. |

Gbola5: No, altogether 13. The one holding the baby was in the middle with six on each side. Maybe you think there was one behind him. You are probably right sha. But there are definitely more WW than those 12 or so. |

Dgunnerz: Needed for "one" thing he does best. Smashing/Bashing/Killing! Yeah but she hasn't really needed him all through the the series until tyrion's trial and then all of a sudden, she wants to save his life at all costs? It's not like she knew her trial was coming. I jus find it suspicious. |

Akanniade: Why, because he's wearing a hood? Because the camera didn't zoom his face? His hood was totally covered, hiding his face. He didn't even move when all the commotion was going on and was just sitting there doing nothing. If you watch the episode again, you will see what I mean. |

Mod should be professional in their duties jarey....although locking the thread is manageable sha. All the while, the mofo never even looked back..no..not even as much as cast a glance!
It was very very weird and unsettling to say theleast! I thought he was going to just stab Jon snow and kill him. The guy didn't even move despite the commotion going on. I was scared for Jon. |

Gbola5: Well that was only in the show. It didnt happwn in the books. When the producers were asked why, they said it was the night's king and 12 lord commanders at the background. Lord commanders could mean anything, not necessarily lord commanders of the nights watch alone. Once inside, the White Walker approaches an icy altar ringed by large icy spikes and places the baby upon the altar. In the distance, a group of thirteen black-garbed White Walkers are revealed to be viewing the proceedings from afar. One of them (the "White Walker's master" breaks from the middle of their number and approaches the altar, stopping to regard the human child for a moment before gently gathering him in its arms. It says here there were 14 WW (the one that brought the baby and 13 others). No mention of them being lord commanders of the nights watch. and also, unless in said interview, they said lord commanders of the nights watch , I will need a source for that. |

Gbola5: No she doesnt. Gregor's organs dont work anymore. The resurerrected Gregor, who isn't called Gregor anymore, has the body parts of different people, although still Gregor's size and most parts Gregor. Anytime Cersei takes someone prisoner she sends them to Qyburn, and Qyburn experiments on them, harvest their organs, he's a creep. And yes, she didnt know she was going to get captured. But she knew Qyburn and his experiments, so there was one time, Qyburn requested to change the mountain for her, to make an unbeatable soldier, and for him to join the king's guard, and she agrees because she thinks a time may come when they'll need swords. This happened in one of her chapters in AFFC. Although everybody in king's landing thinks about who he might be, they dont want to think its the mountain, because his head was sent to Dorne(although it probably is him, and the head was a fake). I dont know if his head was sent to Dorne in the show. I dont think it was, so if that didnt happen in the show, then it just might be only Gregor, so you kinda right. Although she still sends those dwarf killers to Qyburn. What are you talking about? When the mountain got injured, qyburn promised her he could save him. Then she agreed to it despite maester pycell's warning. She tells him to do what he can to save his life. He started using dwarfs to further the experiment. But it's the mountains life she wants to save. Even Grand Maester Pycelle regretfully tells Queen Cersei that Ser Gregor is beyond any hope of healing. Qyburn, however, an expelled former maester with extensive medical knowledge gained from "repugnant" and "unnatural" experimentation on living people, suggests that he may be able to save him. Cersei dismisses Pycelle and gives Qyburn permission to do anything he can to save Ser Gregor (likely out of gratitude for sealing Tyrion's fate and her revenge on him for the death of Joffrey), though he says that his unorthodox methods may "change" him. She nervously asks if he means the process will weaken Gregor, but Qyburn knowingly assures her it will not.Dude, I just confirmed you don't watch the show because everything you wrote is book talk and not on the show . That's a quote from game of thrones wikia. |

Gbola5: Its the same one in that episode where they changed the baby. One changed the baby and 12 others were at his back. The Night's King, who was a Stark, was the 12th Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, now this was thousands of years ago, when the wall was currently built. He found a female wight and sold his soul to her, he became corrupt, so vile that the Stark in Winterfell and the King Beyond the Wall had to team up to defeat him. I know the night king was a crow. I saying the white walkers cannot all be crows. |

Forwetinnah: Oh ok, thanks...i guess you book readers know their names better. Noted You mentioned something about the "wights" being the undead..who are they? Wights are like zombies.. The white walkers have the magical powers to bring dead people back to life and under their control those dead people are called wights. Undead just means they are dead but back to life e.g zombies, vampires, wights etc Those that attacked the wildlings and the ones that jumped from the cliffs were wights. but the guy Jon snow fought is a white walker and also that guy that rose the dead is a white walker. |
